  1. Thanks to TNI for once again featuring my work! Thank you. I would like to do some more but I am waiting for the right inspiration to hit me. I have some ideas with fossil seashells or an armored fish. But they are not quite there yet. Thanks! I hoped to achieve to make them look like that. I loved the "bandwagon" lines of the 80s like sectaurs, rock lords or gobots. There is a bit of them in the Fossil Formers... Thank you! I hope you can fix your printer soon!
  2. I also made a 3D animation with the models. https://youtu.be/sRSsnm3hfLE
  3. I made some jetsleds for my 3D printed fossil formers action figures. They work in both the humanoid and the crab modes. They can also be used as shields. Sculpted and designed by me. To make more characters I added some new head sculpts as well.Creating new characters by just changing the heads keeps in line with the theme that these guys are supposed to look like a cheap knock-off line from the 80s.:-) 2.8 inch scale. Modeled in Modo. Printed on a Form2.
  4. Thank you! Here are some more figures for my fossil formers line. I tried to stay true to make this line look like some knock off line from the 80s. So I did a lot of parts sharing. Then new female versions of the horseshoe crab and trilobite use the same lower body then the male figures. Since 80s toys were known for their vehicles I also added a Mechsuit for the horseshoe crabs to fight in. I hope to do a vehicle for the trillobites at some point as well. Finally I added an evil overlord to the trilobites by making a new head for the male trilobite body. These figures were all done in 2.8 inch scale. Modeled in Modo. Printed on a Form2 with durable resin. Painted by me.
  5. Here are some more figures for this line:
  6. That or some cheap knockoff toys from a bargain store.
  7. There is also a video showing the transformation. https://youtu.be/8KGgYB2x9jE
  8. This is a line of figures I call Fossil-Formers. I love 80s toys and a lot of my figures are supposed to look like the could have been a cheap knock-off line of that time. In this case the figures are a mix of Transformers, Rock Lords and Sectaurs. After a meteorite harboring an alien techno virus crashes on a far away planet its evolution takes a different turn. The animals in the ocean evolve into techno organic humanoids who maintain the ability to transform back into their original form. But war also finds this world. The evil Trilobites overthrow the peaceful kingdom of the Horseshoe Crabs devastating the planet's water resources in the process. Now in this barren new world a small group of freedom fighters continues to face the evil Trilobite Order. Will the discovery of ancient technology from before the war turn the battle? I made 4 inch and 2.8 inch versions of the figures. Made in Modo. Printed on a Form2. Painted by me.
  9. Thank you. Printing usually takes between 6-12 hours. Plus a couple of hours for filing down some impurities, assembling and painting. Now the 3D modeling before is a whole different beast and can take from a couple of days to a couple of weeks depending on the design.
  10. Here are some more figures from the line. I made a 70% smaller version of the main hero and a male version of the police officer.
  11. Thank you very much everyone. Also thank you Toy News International for the feature. Yes the figures were all printed myself on a Form2 printer using their Durable Resin which is very much like PVC which allows me to do the articulation for these guys.
  12. I recently updated an old line of 3D printed super hero figures. Previously most of them were only printed on my old Mojo printer in 5.5 inch scale. Now they are printed on the Form2 in 4 inch scale. The biggest change on the figures themselves are the proportions of the main hero. While before he had a more chubby sofubi style appearance he now looks more dynamic with a classic v-shaped hero torso. I also made a super articulated version of that character. It fits in well with the usual 5 point figures of the line. Included is also a comparison with previous versions of that character.
  13. I hope this is the right forum to post this. But since this is technically about custom figures I thought it was the most appropriate. I am now offering the Form2 files of my Legend of the Warsnail figure line for free non-commercial use. You can download them from http://www.hauke-scheer.de/samples.html Please make sure to read the license and safety instructions before using the files. Also please do not ask for STLs. I do not plan to release the figures in any other way then the .form format any time soon. Have fun printing!
  14. 3D Printed Bionic Bjoern Scout This is a variation of my previous Bionic Bjoern figure. This one has transforming bionic feet that become wheels. He also has 2 human arms, a helmet and a new shoulder mounted minigun. The scouts trade firepower for mobility. Their mission is to find survivors of the zombie apocalypse and escort them safely to the remaining human outposts. They are also used to patrol the remaining highways between the outposts. 3 3/4 inch scale.
  15. Thank you. The 3D models of some of the latest figures are actually quite old. I just could not turn them into figures before because I did not have a 3D printer with a good enough resolution. I do offer printed figures for sale if someone is interested. The problem is that printing is still quite expensive.
