Thanks. The figure still has some small layers when it comes out of the printer but once you primed and painted it, they are as good as gone. The idea behind the figure was to create a bulkier body that could easily be modified into various characters. I still want to refine that idea more next year...

Thanks. I still hope 3D printing will make advances to cheap color printing at some time in the future. Then you can have truly "factory made" feeling action figures.

Another of my 3D printed fully articulated action figures. I wanted to make a body that could be used for large creature types like trolls, ogres etc. I am still not 100% happy with it but it is all right. 4 inch scale. Modeled in Modo. Printed on a Form2. Painted by me.

This is a figure I wanted to make for quite a while. I always liked the idea of a superhero based on a Venezuelan poodle moth. I made a 4 inch version with basic 5 point articulation - technically 7 point since the wings can move a bit as well. I also made a 2.8 inch version that has better articulation since I thought it would be fun to take the figure outside and take pictures of it in nature. The figure is part of a larger line of superhero figures I made. 4 inch scale or 2.8 inch scale. Modelled in Modo. Printed on a Form2. Painted by me.

Thank you! That is a good idea. Thanks. The robots were inspired by 70s and 80s japanese sci fi animes I liked. Also thanks again TNI for featuring my work on their website!

Here are a couple of new figures I made in recent months. The Androids and the army characters are updates on figures I made a couple of years ago when I had my first 3D printer. The original figures were all 6 inch scale and had a much rougher resolution. It is fun to see 2020 updates in 4 inch format.

Thanks to TNI for once again featuring my work! Thank you. I would like to do some more but I am waiting for the right inspiration to hit me. I have some ideas with fossil seashells or an armored fish. But they are not quite there yet. Thanks! I hoped to achieve to make them look like that. I loved the "bandwagon" lines of the 80s like sectaurs, rock lords or gobots. There is a bit of them in the Fossil Formers... Thank you! I hope you can fix your printer soon!

I also made a 3D animation with the models. https://youtu.be/sRSsnm3hfLE

I made some jetsleds for my 3D printed fossil formers action figures. They work in both the humanoid and the crab modes. They can also be used as shields. Sculpted and designed by me. To make more characters I added some new head sculpts as well.Creating new characters by just changing the heads keeps in line with the theme that these guys are supposed to look like a cheap knock-off line from the 80s.:-) 2.8 inch scale. Modeled in Modo. Printed on a Form2.

Thank you! Here are some more figures for my fossil formers line. I tried to stay true to make this line look like some knock off line from the 80s. So I did a lot of parts sharing. Then new female versions of the horseshoe crab and trilobite use the same lower body then the male figures. Since 80s toys were known for their vehicles I also added a Mechsuit for the horseshoe crabs to fight in. I hope to do a vehicle for the trillobites at some point as well. Finally I added an evil overlord to the trilobites by making a new head for the male trilobite body. These figures were all do

That or some cheap knockoff toys from a bargain store.
