  1. Well at least we now know that there will be multiples of certain characters.Kinda a bummer if you ask me as I was hoping for 25 different figures. Bet it will go something like this- At least 2 Snake Eyes-v1 and v2? At least 2 Storm Shadows-v1 and v2?v1 with and without cobra symbol? Cobra Commander-Battle helmet and masked? Duke-Classic look and Tiger Force maybe?? Cobra Soldier with new head becomes Cobra Officer. Still looking forward to these but a little bit of the spark is now gone.
  2. Great find.My TRU had squat so I got a couple of the Galactic Heroes 10 packs for the baby room.
  3. 82-Flash-My second Joe figure.Loved the science aspect of the character. 83-Airborne-He was my all around utility soldier.Snake eyes had nothing on him. 84-Ripcord-Ripcord has always been in my top 5.Continues the utility aspect like Airborne. 85-Airtight,Shipwreck-Tied.Loved Airtight because my Joes gained another scientist.Shipwreck in my Joeverse was more of a modern day pirate. 86-Lifeline-Forget the pacifist garbage we were fed.Lifeline in my Joeverse was willing to do what it took to get you out of a hotzone. 87-Crazylegs-Continues my love of jumpers and their utility uses. 88-Shockwave-Swat guy.Need i say more?? 89-Deepsix v2.-Awesome update. 90-Rampart and Freefall.A Navy gunner and another jumper.Good times. 91-Mercer V2-A much better look than v1 of Mercer. 92-WetSuit v3-Great update and cool sea sled. 93-Longarm-A Joe in a bomb squad suit.it was about time. 94-Lifeline v3-Another great update.A really overlooked figure. 95-The entire Sgt Savage line.-I loved the line.Would have worked better had they not changed the scale and construction.
  4. All of them.Great items and low price points could not be beat.
  5. See if you're still saying that when they go with this idea, and you get stuck playing Squirrel Girl because every other character has already been taken... Not only that, but assuming they would only allow one person per character on each server (only one Wolverine, one Capt, etc), they would need a TON of servers to facilitate the number of people who are probably going to be playing this game, due to the limitted number of actual Marvel characters. I'm guessing it will be created characters with restrictions on what you can and can't do with them. I'm all for the Create-A-Character option. How awesome would it be if a character you created ended up in an actual comic! The City of Heroes/Villians character creation templete cannot be beat.It remains the only part of the COH experience that WOW couldn't touch. As far as a character showing up in a comic anything is possible because of the user agreement.Just because you build and play a character in COH it is not yours but owned by Cryptic.I'm sure it will be the same for the Marvel game as rights will by default be theirs and Cryptics. We may build and play em' but with the monthly fee we pay it may as well be called super hero rent. Heroes for Hire indeed!!
  6. In the past year we have received 2 great Mongul figures if you count the DC Direct one.About time if you ask me.
  7. Cryptic studios did a great job with City of Heroes and City of Villians so I have high hopes for the Marvel game.I have a feeling that the Marvel characters will be non playable npc's and the villians will be mission bosses. It will be a game full of player made sidekick characters with names like Spider Kid,Sgt America, and Weapon XXX.
  8. Hasbro has a master list of figures that they consider to be the most popular. If the relaunch of GIJOE as Joe vs Cobra showed us they filled the first few waves with that said list.Check out the breakdown below- 25th Ann. Figures- Hero set includes- 1.Duke-Was also released in wave 1 of JvsC. 2.Gung Ho-Was also released in wave 1 of JvsC. 3.Snake Eyes-Was also released in JvsC wave 1. 4.Scarlett-Was released in JvsC wave 3.Would have been wave 2 had Hasbro not scrapped construction and used a filler wave for wave 2. 5.Roadblock-Replaced by Heavy Duty in wave 1 of JvsC due to copyright name issues.Received figure in wave 4 or 5 . Villian set- 1.Cobra Commander-Released in wave 1 of JvsC. 2.Destro-Released in wave 1 of JvsC. 3.Storm Shadow-Released in wave 1 of JvsC. 4.Baroness-Released in JvsC wave 3.Would have been wave 2 had Hasbro not scrapped construction and issued a filler wave for wave 2. 5.Cobra Soldier-Neo Viper released in Wave 1 of JvsC was a new version of the classic soldier/Viper. Easy stuff right??If you trace the figures released between JvsC and the end of Spy Troops the last 15 fill theirselves in. 1.Flint 2.Beachhead 3.Stalker 4.Lady Jaye 5.Shipwreck 6.Wild Bill 7.Recondo 8.Dusty 9.Wet Suit or Torpedo.Need a SEAL/diver in the line. 10.Frostbite-Need a snow Joe and since Snow Job is considered very un-PC it will be ol' Frosty again. 11.Zartan 12.Dr Mindbinder 13.Firefly 14.Ripper 15.Cobra B.A.T. This is by no means the list but by looking at past data I conclude these have some of the best possibilites as the last 15. Cheers.
  9. Any news on when we can expect Hasbro Toy Shop to begin selling the pack of figure stands??
  10. Not what most of us were hoping for but at least we are getting one.May look better when fully painted.
  11. Walmart.The price is $9.94.
  12. I had that figure as a kid and loved it.I really hope you get it soon.
  13. They did a really good job on this trailer. While many of us have been put off by much of the stuff we've seen thus far I was shocked at how I was drawn into the trailer. These are not the Transformers we are looking for but todays generation of kids may love them as we loved Gen 1.
  14. Great looking wave except for the Rebel Honor Guard. That figure just seems like next years Lushros Dofine if you catch my meaning.
  15. I am another of those who waited and now have nothing to show for it. @grumpy@
  16. Are your TRU Star Wars sections totally wiped out??I went to one of the local TRU today to find the section empty besides basic figures and a couple Battle Packs.Total decimation. No big box items like the X-Wing or Clone Gunship. This is great news that in a non movie year that parents are buying lots of Star Wars stuff for the kiddies.Hope to see the 30th ann stuff filling those holes soon.
  17. There were 22 shuttles between the 2 Targets closest to me Friday.I went today to get one since I had a little extra cash and both were sold out. @pow@ I totally missed the boat on this one.
  18. No Snowspeeders or Kit Fisto Fighters at my local Target. @grumpy@
  19. You've got a great brother.Gratz on your prizes.
  20. The At-At's at both the local TRU are long gone. @grumpy@
  21. Just giving everyone a heads up that Kohls have received a decent sized order of VOTC figures for Christmas. All action figures are 30% off atm and if you shop during their midnite madness sale hours(I have no idea what time)you get another 20% off the final price.I picked up all 5 for $5.59 each.It appears that like in so many other stores that the Biker Scouts are grabbed first.I was lucky enough to find one out of the way. It's worth a look since the George Stormtrooper offer has been extended until the end of Feb 07.
  22. V2 is a great figure.I think a lot more collectors would like v1 if it wasn't for the horrible head sculpt.
  23. Very awesome.Anyone have a link to the site?i wanna check out the Star Wars stuff.
  24. I Picked up a complete working Battle Wagon a few years ago and still love it.I am also a fan of the Patriot for some strange reason.
