  1. I would love for the scenes of the Wampas in Echo Base to make it into some future release of Empire.
  2. Also add Airborne to the Big Lots assortments.
  3. In addition some other stuff I saw at the various Ross's were the Star Wars Legecy Joker Squad 6 packs for 14.99.At Marshells they had 25th Joes like TF Duke,Bats,And Para Viper for 3.99 each. Also had Star Wars Comic packs for 6.99. TJMaxx had resolute 5 packs for 16.99 and 12 inch 25th Joes for 9.99.
  4. Thanks for the heads up.It took trips to 3 different Ross's and one I visited twice this week to finally find them.Picked up two defense sets at 16.99 a pop so i was very happy. Also found a resolute 5 pack at TJMaxx for 16.99 as well.
  5. Walmart bought a ton of these from Hasbro for Christmas 08.Walmarts price was $149.00.A couple Walmarts around my area had them on rollback for $99.00 a couple weeks before Christmas to move them.I paid $63.00 for it on clearance at my local Walmart in Jan 09.It seemed to sell decent at all the big box stores in my area before clearance.Doubt we will see it again unless it becomes a retailer exclusive.
  6. None that we know of.Figure is a mostly a blank slate except for his Devils Due Plague connections.Figure has a removable helmet so who will be under the helmet??A Joe sent undercover to rescue Flint??Dr Venom's old/new identity??Maybe it'll be the man who becomes Baron Ironblood.Heck with the chance that more Action Force figures will be sold at the Con it could very well be Action Man under the helmet.
  7. Cardback pics look good.No movie styled Whiplash or Black Widow??
  8. Curious, was the belt on your shockwave/s.blast very loose whereas it won't fit around the waist? I am wonderin if that the belt being too big for his waist is a normal for this fig Yeah the belt on Shockblast is very loose. Was loose on the other comic pack Shockblast and on the Comic Pack Firefly as well.
  9. Picked up Tunnel Rat/Monkeywrench and Shockblast/Night Creeper at Walmart this week.Picked up the 4 pack at Kmart as well. The only real stinker in the 4 pack is Duke.HD,Mars Trooper and Cocoa Viper all are good repaints.
  10. Quite a few look like wins while judgement is reserved on others until they are released.Do we really need a second arctic Snake Eyes??The addition of one named classic Joe per theme/wave is welcome. The lack of Hawk and Breaker in next years line is a shame.
  11. I enjoyed it.My wife who knows almost zero about GIJoe enjoyed it.I didn't see one person at my theater screaming about how their childhood had been raped or destroyed.IMOA the movie stood on it's own 2 legs. The highlight for me was when JGL became the Commander. It was a bit over the top but less so then 99% of the time the Commander was on the cartoon. As far as I'm concerned the movie is a big fat win.
  12. I'd watch it.The toyline has improved over the years but has never been at the level of Joes. The current t crotch figures aren't that bad and they finally have a group of villians to fight. Many of the rereleased 20+ year old vehicles still look good today.
  13. Another great ROC headswap is Shipwreck and Breaker.Breaker's torso looks like a wetsuit that suits Shipwreck much better. This swap also gives Breaker a much better look that the blah figure that was released. Currently using a Neo Viper Commando body for the Zartan head until I find a perfect body for it.
  14. No figures on sale at my TRU.Only vehicles and 12 inchers. So sad......
  15. I agree with all the comments about these two vehicles. The gunship just looks flat out odd.If it had a propeller it would be a cool mini copter. The gunship reminds me of the mini copter from the Jurassic Park 3 toyline. The Crusher just looks way too plain. As for the figures I like the Nitro Viper head and vest. The Firefly looks different enough to be used as someone else.
  16. Night Raven and Scarab get the thumbs up.Rockslide gets the thumbs down except for the SnowJob repaint. The Ice Sabre/Dagger I couldn't care less about.
  17. Don't I feel like a tool now. @pow@ His work is always great.Guess I should have read who posted the review.I'm currently kicking myself.
  18. While checking out a review for the upcoming Marvel Fury Files Wolverine figure at ToyArk the owner of the figure had some photos of the Wolverine along with some New Joes.A prototype of Tunnel Rat,Shockblast(Shockwave)and the possible single card Falcon. The Falcon seems to be quite a few new parts and dwarfs the Comic Pack version in terms of coolness.Click the link below to see the review.Pics are in the middle of the page.Enjoy. http://www.toyark.com/news/marvel-toy-news...ine-review-465/
  19. If they released one it would more than likely be a repaint or a slight retool of the Batmobile from the Mattel Batman line(04-05 ish). It's to scale and if I remember correctly Mattel fixed the back fins that resulted in a recall.
  20. As much as I'd love new figures in the Best Of set I'm sure Hasbro will give us another Duke,Snake Eyes,Cobra Commander and Destro.
  21. What exactly was Tiger Force's purpose?? I never bought them as a kid but loved them as an adult. Battle packs for Tiger Force and Python Patrol are great ideas.
  22. The box art shows 3 Joes busting through a skylight. They are led by v1 Shockwave. Can anyone else make out the other 2 joes?
