  1. From what I discovered, the fast food capitol of the world is running a new ad campaign exploiting national tragedies. This, among many, is getting a lot of criticism stating that it is offensive and tasteless: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=93KTpF9JDWo Right now, a petition has been started telling the company to shut down that ad: https://www.change.org/p/mcdonald-s-remove-ads-exploiting-any-and-all-tragedies You don't have to sign it if you don't want to, but I insist it be signed if you are offended yourself, an would rather shed tears from cutting onions than eating them.
  2. We'll see if that goes well. After all, we, as Americans hardly know Diaclone too well. Personally, I though the mold for the future Sunstreaker being Yellow, rather than Red, took away the Diaclone homage already
  3. That would be up to international law makers at the moment Besides, the Red Marlbro logo would be hardly recognizable in robot mode anyway
  4. From what I heard, Phillip Morris is banning sale of MP-23 Exhaust in the US. Click here for more info. I believe there maybe a petition that might resolve this case, https://www.change.org/p/hasbro-takara-tomy-find-a-way-to-sell-mp-23-exhaust-in-the-united-states-without-having-copyright-infringement-with-phillip-morris?just_created=true
  5. What do YOU know? their presentations were just plain wrong @pow@
  6. I don't know, Andorian, I think Inhumanoids was toy based, meaning I would like the cartoon less than the action figures. For me, toylines like James Bond Jr, and Xiaolin Shodown would make MY stomach hurt :-(
  7. Another thing wrong with it, Clone troopers SUPPORT the dark side
  8. Man, do I hate that 1986 costume of his.
  9. I'm sure you are all aware of Mattel's new Monster High line. If not, it is about a high school where students and teachers are based off various monsters. You got this principle who is actually a ghost with a removable head. You also have these jocks who might be a male gorgon (Deuce), a zombie (Slow Moe), and a fishwoman (Lagoona). There is even a queen bee student who is actually an undecayed mummy girl (Cleo de Nile)! Well, the toyline features some students from select monster parents. Among the unmentioned is Frankie Stein, the daughter of Mary Shelley's horrifying beast. She happens to be the rather clumsy, uncool new-girl stereotype. Heck, she probably was made fifteen days before the new schoolyear began. Although most of dolls and webtoon characters seem okay, there is this one I hate more then any.... Draculaura! Apparently, this vampire girl is a strict ''vegen who wears alot of pink, and writes happy poetry. She's everything a real vampire is not! Worst of all, she might encourage kids to overdose on nutrition supplements!
  10. Dose anybody have an opinion on lousy action figures based on a TV show that you thought was good? Mine: James Bond Jr.
  11. For those of you who have been wanting to boycott such anime distributors such as Harmony Gold and Funimation, please take note that World Events Productions (wep) came before those two. First, they try to market this "Voltron" by making it into "2" different shows (the lion one being more close to that awful Battle of the Planets), sadly, the botp-esqe lion was pick over the more sensible vehicle series! Next, they do another task of anime ruination with Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs, by making a storyline completely different from the forgotten Japanese show I'm telling you, wep is, by far, the one entertainment company most deserving to be boycotted (more then Disney, more then Viacom, more then anybody)!
  12. Darn right about that, collectors might even have to start petitions on the issue to get back their reputation.
  13. Well, the fear was that the act applies to ANY product intended for children, including such things as toys........which we adults collect. Some of the clauses in the act, made distinctions that said that if the common view of an item was that it was a toy, it would be considered a toy and not a "collectible" or whatever semantic distinction we like to make. Those semantic changes were not considered as legally interpretations and thus they would not have applied. That meant that if we collect toys, the blanket terms for ALL toys, including "collectibles" made for ages 12 and under would fall under the act and thus have to abide by the law. If it was meant for kids under 12, and did not have the paper trail that says it was free of lead etc.......it could not be sold by ANYONE, adult or child. But it appears that there's been some changes of heart by the regulators behind this act, and pretty much all of those concerns no long apply. It's all Blaspemy, there is no telling wether a toy that dosen't pass new saftey standerds will be sent back to sendee, or sent to a landfill, or worse. It's not like toy companies can remake molds that have been missing or destroyed for who knows how long! I think toy collecters are more like american citizens then those CPSC bureaucrats
