Kenobi & the duchess Satine had a short relationship before the events of TPM. However, she was killed off late in the series with no sign of having a child anywhere.

But it showed that he wasn't *that* strictly adherent to the Jedi code of no nookie. Combine that with having to give up everything that made him a Jedi after Order 66, it's feasible that he found someone on Tatooine in his exile & had a kid.

That's a lot for the general public who only see the movie to swallow, and even more for already lazy screenwriters to have to explain. They erased the EU so that the newbs could go about their business with creative freedom, right? I would hope they would be free of the @##@@ cartoons as well.

Speaking of, I looove how IGN keeps reminding us that Darth Maul is still alive out there on a weekly basis. Between sane logic (he's dead) and idiot fans that cling to new canon(nuh-uh), the comment section is a hoot.

Except they've always said that Clone Wars & Rebels are canon. And they still are. They were never EU.

  3. There's a 25% off coupon in the Target Holiday toy book, so I used that plus a couple of $5 gift cards & the Red Card 5% discount on the 6" TIE today. Came out to just a bit over $122. Even with just the 25% coupon, that's $42.50 off. This thing is a beast. And a ton of detail inside that cockpit.

  4. Good luck getting these at your TRU.

All others, get ready to pay $38 for an awesome figure and a surplus, dated media copy of a loosely related, s****y movie.

No, they're just $19.99. Only seems to be Batman & Joker shipping right now judging by what my local store had today. They had 4 of each, just got them in.

If you buy one of the DVDs, it's half off the figure. Of course, the DVDs are $19.99 as well.

And even for guys like me, we are starting to look at Hasbro's Black series as the bottom of the barrel, only suitable to get for durable cheap guys like stormtroopers, who they do a decent job at. With the Bandai 1/12 kits and the S.H. Figuarts coming out at that scale, and being way better to immensely better toys, many of the 6-inch collectors are looking to them to fill their Star Wars itch. Although much more expensive, these imports are just that much better. Hasbro may be better off targeting their core audience, but I think they like the higher price they can charge for the 6-inchers.

So Hasbro is wrong for what they charge for 6" figures, but S.H. Figuarts, who charge several times more for the same scale, are in the right?

My, that's an impressive double-standard you've built yourself.

Import costs + much smaller production runs + many more moving parts = higher price

I just got my Starscream today I had a hard time getting him done in robot mode speacilly the head and chest parts.

Why does your Starscream head is so high up? Did you forget to rotate the 2nd piece after the nosecone inside the cockpit?

Me the problem I have with MP11 mold is rotating the head into that ring. Instead, the best thing to transform the MP11 mold is to manually pop-off the head first, then rettach it back once it pass the chest section.. The other main advantage is that it avoids the scratch on the glossy paint of the head.

Yeah, there's definitely a mis-transformation in there. Something in the torso isn't aligned properly.

  7. The Dr. Strange is already a redo of an upcoming figure in one of the three waves due out in the next couple months. And the set will of course be up on HTS after the con. I snagged last year's set, hopefully I can snag this one too. 4 all new figures, 2 of which I've been wanting for a long time (Hela & Magik). I'm in.

And on the topic of Not-so-cheap-and-easy repaints: Road Rage!

    http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=TAK12132&mode=retail

As far as taking a regular release and modifying it with new parts, this is the most extensive we've seen, with new biceps, hips, crotch, thighs and head.

And I think the very slim Tracks mold actually looks better as a female.

But the most exciting thing about Road Rage is that the same TaoBao listing that said Tracks was MP-25 and Road Rage was MP-26, also said Ironhide was MP-27.

A new company called Voodoo is making a MP Ironhide and Ratchet, plus the TFC Toys version of MP Ironhide, which seems a little nuts if TT is making an official one, but hey, having an official Ultra Magnus didn't stop people from buying Citizen Stack.

Is there a 3P Transformers forum, because 3P is blowing up right ow with MP products in development.

    omg, she looks fantastic!!

Fixed that for you. Road Rage is a fembot.
