  1. An hour at most each time over 4 different trips.
  2. Well, my nearest Hastings is closing this Tuesday at 5PM for good. So yesterday was my final trip. Still dropped a bit over $100 on stuff. Overall haul out of the going out of business sale, approx. $440 all told: 41 CDs (technically 42 as I had to buy one twice because the first time the disc was cracked in the middle) 45 trade paperbacks 27 individual comic issues 5 Star Wars LEGO sets (4 of the series 3 Microfighters & the Carbon Freeze Chamber) 2 packs of 3.75" Daleks 5-inch 4th Doctor 3-pack 5 Buffy ReAction figures (just need Oz) 3 packs of Pulp Fiction Mini-Mates 3 Star Wars tote bags Star Wars baseball cap 4 DVD box sets of One Piece Terror In Resonance BD/DVD combo pack 3 WWE BDs (U.S. Title, Ultimate Warrior & Owen Hart) WXIII: Patlabor the Movie 3, Clone Wars movie & Revenge of the Fallen 2-disc set, all on BD
  3. Scorponok definitely should have a proper G1 update (and most likely will after Trypticon one would assume), but at least he's had a few representations over the years, including one that was vaguely similar, if undersized, to the G1 version. But Trypticon has been so overlooked it's criminal.
  4. There was a Gears a couple of years ago. http://www.tfu.info/2014/Autobot/GenGears/gears.htm The Clones were Pounce & Wingspan for the Cons & Fastlane & Cloudraker for the Bots. The one that truly needed an upgrade is our next Titan class. Trypticon only had a repaint of a little Legends class Scourge from the Cybertron series & one of those weird computer mouse TFs from a few years ago in Japan.
  5. Yeah, Firestar is a mutant. She was originally found by Emma Frost & in the Hellions. Got a great wave/BAF idea. Sunspot Cannonball Wolfsbane Mirage Karma Magik Magma Cypher BAF Nimrod
  6. The Puck wave Sabretooth is a pretty good figure, Hasbro should release it again in classic colors and with sculpted fur, as it is now I display the Marvel Select version because it perfectly captures the look of the animated series. Mystique is long overdue I'm not a fan of the character but she's a classic staple of the X-men universe and to say her figures have been sub par is an understatement. They just need to re-release that entire wave, along with the Jubilee wave with Storm packed 2 or 3 per case. Only ones I never got. The Jubilee wave, TRU really dropped the ball on that one,I preordered them and got them all except Storm, now I have a torso less Jubilee. If a Gambit is a made it would most probably be on the BuckyCap mold(which I have no problem with) it must have a new torso, new lower legs and a new head, so it's better if they just make an all new figure, with a new trench coat. The Inhumans Royal Family in their classic Kirby looks are on top of my wishlist. If we don't get them in their classic looks then in their War of Kings/Thanos Imperative looks as long as we don't get them in their current looks. Gorgon, Karnak, Triton, Crystal and I would kill for a Lockjaw. I thought they were a sure thing when Inhumans saw a resurgence but no and now because of the pissing match between Perlmuter and Kevin Feige we might not even get the movie. I didn't pre-order them, but I did find all but Storm in store. Just never saw her at all. So I'm in the same boat as you. And I whole-heartedly agree about the Inhumans. That would actually make a killer box set of the 5 you listed.

  8. Seriously, I have a Death's Head figure (3.75") already & now a Death's Head II figure (6") coming soon. This is truly the line (in either scale) where anyone is a possibility. Side note: The last few wrestling video games I bought (haven't gotten one since something like 2008) that had good create-a-wrestler features, I would always make 3 guys that were the biggest possible. Always had the names Death's Head, Death's Head II & Death's Head III. Nicknames were Devastator, Bruticus & Predaking. So this is just awesome for me.
  9. Ugh, gold plastic syndrome. Silverbolt from the Magnaboss gestalt set in Beast Wars is ruined due to his wing shattering at the hinge. And Swerve in the Alternators line lost a finger like, literally, the day I got him a couple years ago. And I know it's damn hard to get a complete Monstructor due to 2 of them having that type of plastic.
  10. Actionmasters. Transformers that don't transform. Yeah, that's pretty much it.
  11. Quake. Pretty sure Brawn (with mini-spy) was my first TF. Either him or Bonecrusher. Maybe both at once. Grimlock, Bombshell & Ironhide were my first boxed TFs. Can't quite recall anymore which was first though. Most recent, the second wave of the Titan Master head only packs. Including Brawn!
  12. KMart's got a 6" Jyn with a rock base & TRU has an Imperial Hovertank Driver, I believe.
  13. Hastings at 50-70% off now. Had the extra 20% off comics & trades, unadvertised, again on Sunday. 12 more trades, 15 individual comic issues, Buffy, Willow, Spike, Angel & Gentleman from the ReAction Buffy line and Owen Hart of Gold BD for $66.60 total. Might be my last trip as I won't get back to there until mid-October.
  14. Hey thanks, Mako for the heads up...this hunt was surprisingly easy for once....the 2nd Wahmaht I walked into had an Civil War display out in the aisle before you get to the toys...they had plenty to go around...this Walmart didn't have any Winter Soldiers or Falcons....I picked up an Nick & Black Panther as well....they had plenty of everybody.... No problem. The weekend's been productive for me as well. Found two or three more Giant Man Endcaps plus two of the WalMarts I hit had the Falcon and Winter Soldier figs. Doesn't look like these will be hard to find either. At the last Wally-World of the night I actually picked up a M.O.D.O.K. figure from the old Playmotion line (did ANYBODY ever play this thing?). Not much of a figure, but until the Has' gives us an ML version, this'll have to do. Hopefully one of my WMs will get an endcap set up as well. Still need Black Panther for me & a buddy. I apparently just missed them at KMart this weekend. They had everyone but BP.
  15. With Hastings going out of business, I picked up a pile of 18 CDs (11 new & 7 used), 26 TPBs & a pair of LEGO SW Microfighters, the LEGO Carbon Freeze Chamber & a Dr. Who 5" figure 3-pack (4th Doctor, D84 & dying Master) for a grand total of $232. The trades & used CDs were 60% off & then an extra 20% off, everything else 40% off. Receipt listed savings was just shy of $600. Hate to see them go, but damn am I cleaning up on cheap stuff.
  16. Either a proper update of the original Cover Girl or G. I. Jane.
  17. Apeface is the name you're looking for GD.
  18. Trypticon is next year. Fan's choice even. About time we got a new Tryps as well. The three teaser pics from the convention in China last month looked pretty promising.
  19. Yep. Only things that are sold out are the 3 Star Wars items, the Magic the Gathering set, The ML Raft set & the tablet Soundwave. http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/en/htsusa/exclusives?langId=-1&storeId=10151&krypto=U7q8QUiqlgE3jTIfm2hStEsmO%2FZSPq%2FUcgqeHzDLHPD%2BotVW2JpZ1z%2FW4NyDUQJBoHJSrpd1Vu8UuRYIBzTjK4b8df6rTMU4j1Ns6QaI3ntfKLcby34FUgE7gqetA9us&ddkey=http%3Aen%2Fhtsusa%2Fexclusives#facet:&productBeginIndex:0&orderBy:&pageView:grid&minPrice:&maxPrice:&pageSize:&
  20. SDCC version should be delivered tomorrow.
  21. RIP Mr. Baker, you've certainly earned the rest.
  22. I actually would have had everything I wanted if I'd remembered my bank had put a $500 daily limit on all bank accounts last year to "prevent fraud". Only thing I lost before I was reminded by a "Payment failure" notification was Jyn Erso. If I'd called on Monday to get the limit adjusted, I would have got 2 Obi-Wans for me & a buddy & my tablet Soundwave with everything else we wanted. And possibly a Soundwave for my friend as well with his separate order to get Fort Max & the Joe/TF set.
  23. Lost out on Obi-Wan & the ipad Soundwave because I had to call my bank & change the spending cap they instituted last year to prevent "fraud" that I had forgotten about. Bugger all.
