  1. Everything went up right at 1PM CDT. This sold out first in under 10 minutes, followed shortly by Skater Prime. IDW set went within an hour. I snagged all 3 plus the ML set for my buddy & this, IDW & ML for myself.
  2. Looks like CC has the "Mickey Mouse" style insignia. Nice touch.
  3. They're using the Demon Bear storyline as a start point. So I can see the horror path.
  4. Go here to place your vote for the 2017 Fan's Choice Poll http://www.starwars.com/news/vote-now-for-the-next-3-75-inch-star-wars-vintage-collection-figure Personal choice, Sim Aloo. The only vintage figure that hasn't been updated in any fashion in the modern line. Star Destroyer Commander would be a simple repaint. Bespin Guard, just add a mustache. Power Droid, different color & add the antenna. But Sim Aloo, the original Imperial Dignitary, needs to be done.
  5. I saw not only the Sandman wave, but the Abomination wave & the entire Giant Man wave (yes, including Black Panther!) at TRU yesterday.
  6. Yeah, the Bears are now due another championship. At least that drought's only 31 years so far.
  7. Speaking of Harry & Budweiser. Bud combed through the archives & pieced together the ultimate "What if" clip. https://youtu.be/nApTGkLd2hs
  8. Finally, after 108 years, the Cubs are the World Series Champions! Fly the W, baby! @yipee@ @yipee@ @yipee@ @yipee@ @yipee@
  9. Cubs win! Cubs win! Cubs win!

  10. Walmart.com has the entire Abomination wave up in stock, all but Scarlet Witch on sale for $12.49-$12.99 each. SW is $19.97 or some such. And they even have Black Panther! So that was a pleasant surprise this week.
  11. An hour at most each time over 4 different trips.
  12. Well, my nearest Hastings is closing this Tuesday at 5PM for good. So yesterday was my final trip. Still dropped a bit over $100 on stuff. Overall haul out of the going out of business sale, approx. $440 all told: 41 CDs (technically 42 as I had to buy one twice because the first time the disc was cracked in the middle) 45 trade paperbacks 27 individual comic issues 5 Star Wars LEGO sets (4 of the series 3 Microfighters & the Carbon Freeze Chamber) 2 packs of 3.75" Daleks 5-inch 4th Doctor 3-pack 5 Buffy ReAction figures (just need Oz) 3 packs of Pulp Fiction Mini-Mates 3 Star Wars tote bags Star Wars baseball cap 4 DVD box sets of One Piece Terror In Resonance BD/DVD combo pack 3 WWE BDs (U.S. Title, Ultimate Warrior & Owen Hart) WXIII: Patlabor the Movie 3, Clone Wars movie & Revenge of the Fallen 2-disc set, all on BD
  13. Scorponok definitely should have a proper G1 update (and most likely will after Trypticon one would assume), but at least he's had a few representations over the years, including one that was vaguely similar, if undersized, to the G1 version. But Trypticon has been so overlooked it's criminal.
  14. There was a Gears a couple of years ago. http://www.tfu.info/2014/Autobot/GenGears/gears.htm The Clones were Pounce & Wingspan for the Cons & Fastlane & Cloudraker for the Bots. The one that truly needed an upgrade is our next Titan class. Trypticon only had a repaint of a little Legends class Scourge from the Cybertron series & one of those weird computer mouse TFs from a few years ago in Japan.
  15. Yeah, Firestar is a mutant. She was originally found by Emma Frost & in the Hellions. Got a great wave/BAF idea. Sunspot Cannonball Wolfsbane Mirage Karma Magik Magma Cypher BAF Nimrod
  16. The Puck wave Sabretooth is a pretty good figure, Hasbro should release it again in classic colors and with sculpted fur, as it is now I display the Marvel Select version because it perfectly captures the look of the animated series. Mystique is long overdue I'm not a fan of the character but she's a classic staple of the X-men universe and to say her figures have been sub par is an understatement. They just need to re-release that entire wave, along with the Jubilee wave with Storm packed 2 or 3 per case. Only ones I never got. The Jubilee wave, TRU really dropped the ball on that one,I preordered them and got them all except Storm, now I have a torso less Jubilee. If a Gambit is a made it would most probably be on the BuckyCap mold(which I have no problem with) it must have a new torso, new lower legs and a new head, so it's better if they just make an all new figure, with a new trench coat. The Inhumans Royal Family in their classic Kirby looks are on top of my wishlist. If we don't get them in their classic looks then in their War of Kings/Thanos Imperative looks as long as we don't get them in their current looks. Gorgon, Karnak, Triton, Crystal and I would kill for a Lockjaw. I thought they were a sure thing when Inhumans saw a resurgence but no and now because of the pissing match between Perlmuter and Kevin Feige we might not even get the movie. I didn't pre-order them, but I did find all but Storm in store. Just never saw her at all. So I'm in the same boat as you. And I whole-heartedly agree about the Inhumans. That would actually make a killer box set of the 5 you listed.

  18. Seriously, I have a Death's Head figure (3.75") already & now a Death's Head II figure (6") coming soon. This is truly the line (in either scale) where anyone is a possibility. Side note: The last few wrestling video games I bought (haven't gotten one since something like 2008) that had good create-a-wrestler features, I would always make 3 guys that were the biggest possible. Always had the names Death's Head, Death's Head II & Death's Head III. Nicknames were Devastator, Bruticus & Predaking. So this is just awesome for me.
  19. Ugh, gold plastic syndrome. Silverbolt from the Magnaboss gestalt set in Beast Wars is ruined due to his wing shattering at the hinge. And Swerve in the Alternators line lost a finger like, literally, the day I got him a couple years ago. And I know it's damn hard to get a complete Monstructor due to 2 of them having that type of plastic.
  20. Actionmasters. Transformers that don't transform. Yeah, that's pretty much it.
  21. Quake. Pretty sure Brawn (with mini-spy) was my first TF. Either him or Bonecrusher. Maybe both at once. Grimlock, Bombshell & Ironhide were my first boxed TFs. Can't quite recall anymore which was first though. Most recent, the second wave of the Titan Master head only packs. Including Brawn!
