New Japan Pro-Wrestling Ultimates Wave 2 Figures From Super7
jedicrippler replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
At the very least, I really want to get that Evil figure. The accessories are amazing! -
Dang, that really does seem like it could be the inspiration for this new movie version. Not bad at all.

Will The Coronavirus Effect The Toy Industry???
jedicrippler replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
Yeah, who cares about those who could lose their jobs due to business being down. And also losing their health coverage because the only way they could get any was through said job. And then getting sick & not being able to afford to go to the doctor. And then spreading that sickness farther. You're absolutely right. The effect on the toy industry (or any industry) is totally unimportant. Maybe if there was, I don't know, some sort of ability for every single person to have health coverage without having to worry about being in permanent debt due to the greed of the healthcare industry. God forbid, people think about each other instead of just themselves. -
No Time To Die - Official Big Game Spot
jedicrippler replied to Outsiders's topic in Entertainment News
No, there was no BoP commercial. And the WW84 was just a product tie-in for the Tide running gag commercial. That ran way too long.- 3 replies

It's a movie, not a TV show. -
Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker (Spoiler Discussion)
jedicrippler replied to Devilbat's topic in Star Wars
The second transport was there the whole time. It was sitting right next to the one they put Chewie on. -
Yeah, that extra little crossover was a surprise. And the ending and everything that it set up is awesome. And some more teases of things to come (and something that came before, oddly enough). Very fun. As comic shows should be.

Could 2020 Be The Year We See 6" G.I. Joe Figures From Hasbro?
jedicrippler replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
Unless they're strictly Cobra troopers/officers/CGs/BATs/every other type of Cobra grunt or some generic green shirts for the Joes. Those multi-packs they put out in the mid-00s were pretty nice. -
New Netflix Masters of the Universe Series Promo Art Revealed
jedicrippler replied to JayC's topic in Entertainment News
What's your point? It's literally continuing the original series to give it a proper ending. How is that equating to "He-Man's not gonna be a high school kid like on She-Ra is he?" Seeing as that isn't what the original show was about. Heck, if Adam Sandler can make a movie that isn't an idiotic comedy about him as a bumbling moron, anything is possible. -
New Netflix Masters of the Universe Series Promo Art Revealed
jedicrippler replied to JayC's topic in Entertainment News
The Kevin Smith series is a direct continuation of the original cartoon. That's been said in every article about it. This is something completely separate. -
The trailer gave some nice teases without giving things away. As it should. I love the shot of the Resistance fleet with the Falcon in the lead. Looks like it could be another epic space battle, which I'm always down for. And in regards to the shot of Rey & Kylo smashing whatever that display was, yeah. She definitely has a dagger in her left hand. I would be absolutely fine with them weaving in a bit of the Clone Wars series and having it be the Mortis dagger. That would actually fit with some of my thoughts on where things could be by the end of the film.

I had a neat thought about Lynda Carter appearing as WW. Have her show up with Brandon Routh's Superman from the Kingdom Come reality. Which, in a roundabout way, would mean her Wonder Woman and Christopher Reeve's Superman would be from the same reality as well.

She was shown standing on a rooftop in silhouette at the very end.

First Movie Poster For James Bond Film 'No Time To Die'
jedicrippler replied to Outsiders's topic in Entertainment News
She's not playing "Bond". She's the new 007 since Bond is retired as the movie begins. They've had multiple agents using other numbers throughout the years, no reason they wouldn't use 007 again for a new agent. This is why I get so frustrated with everything these days. No one stops to think about things from a logical standpoint. Just straight to "outrage". -

More Clues To What's Coming From McFarlane Toys For DC Comics?!?
jedicrippler replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
[sarcasm]Let me guess. They're actually 3 3/4" instead of 6" or 7".[/sarcasm] Knowing McF, that's the kind of thing they'd wind up doing.
