  1. That is definitely an awesome clip. A nice blend of anime & the original Heavy Metal film.
  2. It sounds like they're going to wrap up what they've got in production & maybe a couple more so they can wrap up the dangling plot threads not covered by those currently finished/being made. Possibly they'll release the remaining storylines as direct-to-DVD/BD movies.
  3. Why shouldn't he show up to support his daughter Amanda for her "fight"?
  4. He was blue in the cartoon & the comic as well.
  5. Disco! Got $13 back on the 4 I bought on the 3rd. Unfortunately they only had 1 Classic IM, but the refund pretty much negated his cost so it's all good.
  6. Thanks for the reminder. I think they're price match is 2 weeks. If so, I can get some money back on the pair of IPs & HA IMs I picked up on Feb. 3.
  7. Okay, I hadn't looked at the Kre-O stuff yet. That's awesome! Just like Quick Kick coming with a Fudgie bar.
  8. It looks a bit bigger if not I still want it It's the bigger one from the TRU CW pack with Mace's fighter. Most excellent.
  9. and see, your example of a "good cloth" looks like garbage to me. I would never buy a figure with that. it looks like homemade lol oh well.. it seems like fans are either love it or hate it with plastic vs cloth.. we'll see who Hasbro is going to pursue as customers in a week hopefully I'm talking more about the fact it's got a wire in the base that allows for the material to be adjusted however one likes. Seeing as that's a very short figure they were kind of limited with the cloth type to be used. I'd much rather have a 6" Vader or Maul designed like that as opposed to a static plastic cape. It's much more useful & dynamic. And yes, I did mention the cloth has been getting better. That figure is a couple of years old at least. And with 6" scale figures the cloth look can be pretty excellent. Beast's lab coat is quite spiffy, as is Rogue's jacket. Seeing as they've had quite a few years to work on cloth for figures Jedi & Sith robes with the wire gimmick should turn out great.
  10. Short answer: Cloth, hands down. Long answer: Pretty much spelled out already by others about articulation being hampered. And cloth can work wonderfully, even more so for this scale, if they do it like they did with some of the Jedi figures in the Target Order 66 2-packs. A thin piece of wire in the bottom. They've improved the cloth look by leaps & bounds since the first time they used it. And having a larger canvas to work with should make it look even better.
  11. Canada, eh? ...Hurm... @hmmm@
  12. Got my notice that Soundwave is in stock at BBTS! Boo-yah!
  13. The word "bootleg" seems to spring to mind. @hmmm@
  14. Close. It's what Martians call Mars in the John Carter novels. Barsoom.
  15. I seem to be one of the few who caught the homage with his name. B'aar S'oom of Mars. (I'm spitballing the spelling.)
  16. Picked up a second Prime Vehicon at TJ Maxx for $7. The stuff they're getting is just ridiculous.
  17. They had the commandos during the introduction of Savage. When the Jedi master & his padawan were returned to Coruscant it was Delta Squad escorting their bodies off the shuttle.
  18. All SW figures & such are buy one get one 50% off this week at TRU. Seeing as it's 2 figures plus a mini-rig, $23 is about the right price. It's what the last 3 packs of figures were going for but you get a mini-rig instead of a third figure. I paid just shy of $40 for the Yoda fighter & the MTT one. They're pretty neat.
  19. You do realize they were supposed to be in this part until they further split the story into three films right? And there's this thing called lead time that toy companies deal with in regards to getting product designed, produced & delivered. That being said, all the dwarves, some goblins, orcs, a warg, the Goblin King & definitely Radagast the Brown w/rabbit power sled in 6 inch, thankyouverymuch.
  20. Yeah, I caught the Data Discs being on there as well as Soundwave being stock last night. So my buddy & I now each have set coming to us soon. And the system actually did the BOGO thing the right way & gave us 40% off 1 each of the Disc packs & Soundwave. Nice deal. Cleared the free shipping threshhold even.
  21. No, I said I was getting 4 of the 8 I wanted. IM, Mystique, Punisher & US Agent. I want to get the X-Force DP & FF Doom but there's no guarantee what you will get so I didn't order them. I still want them & Blade & Moonstar are the other 2 I'm wanting.
  22. Yeah, excellent deal. Especially if the Falcon winds up being almost complete.
  23. The Iron Man was a Lightning Deal yesterday for $8.49. I snagged it then (along with the Indy BD set for $40) & I also ordered Msytique, Punisher & US Agent at the same time. When I ordered them 1 of them was listed at $12.28, the other 2 at $12.82. I go back to the site 4 hours later & they're suddenly those prices. I called them & they wouldn't adjust, but since the order hadn't shipped yet they cancelled those 3 & I re-ordered them at the lower price & it was just over $25 so I still got the free shipping. I didn't bite on DP or Doom because I'm only interested in the non-traditional versions (X-Force & FF). So I didn't want to take a chance with DP & Doom is just shown as the classic version. But still, getting 4 of the 8 total (counting Blade & Moonstar) I'm interested in at half price or less? Hell yeah!
