  1. Wow, I'm amazed it's still in stock. It's been up since at least 12:30PM CST or so I believe. Which is about when I snagged a set for myself & placed a second order for a friend (different e-mail addy, his address & card so it should be fine). I do believe this is the first Hasbro SDCC exclusive that I've wanted & been able to get. It only took a lawsuit to do it.
  2. Yup, all the sites are saying it's 3 3/4" scale. That's an amazing level of articulation.
  3. I'm thinking it has something to do with the fact a regular hurricane lamp would have a flammable liquid in it & if it's dropped or knocked out of his hand somehow the potential for burns would be pretty high. Or if some dimwit would try to jump the barrier & attack them the same result would occur. The pyro on stage & Kane's pyro is all very controlled & has an extremely low risk potential to the crowd. Flaming kerosene splashing out of a broken lantern on the other hand. The LED version would also be much easier to "light" & "blow out".
  4. They did do Windcharger in the Scout class for the Hunt for the Decepticons line & it was great.
  5. That's my theory on Coulson as well. Or they're prepping to make him a synthezoid & he'll wind up being the movie-verse Vision. But I'm leaning towards the primary theory. Especially since Tony used the term LMD in Avengers. Seemed an odd thing to throw out there without following up on.
  6. It's been on for a few weeks now. I'm neither impressed or horrified by it.
  7. Yup, Target & TRU seem to be getting more of them. Hopefully not so many that it'll impede wave 2. And I realized something tonight. The first of these 6" figures I bought was X-Wing Luke. My very first SW figure ever back in 1979 or 1980? X-Wing Luke! Talk about coming full circle.
  8. Plus the original Soundblaster has a double-deep cassette door.
  9. Hopefully Bryan will have the belt (or anyone other than Orton quite frankly) by Oct. 20. #US1#
  10. Don't get on my case about theater, I'm not the one who brought it up. Or agreed with the sentiment.
  11. So you add Sherlock to the list of stuff (and I'll be generous & give you that one, I can come up with a bunch of other shows that are geekier than that). That's 3 things. Auditioning for a role (3 or so years ago at that) doesn't equate to being in the program. And everyone & their 3rd, 4th & 5th cousins have been on that overrated garbage called The Simpsons. What hasn't he been in: half dozen Marvel films, Dark Knight trilogy, Man of Steel, all Pixar films, Joe & TF films, Wolverine & the X-Men films, Kick-Ass, MiB3, Game of Thrones, etc., etc. So no, he hasn't been in "all things geeky lately". He's been in 3 (or 4 if you really want to include something everyone has done) properties over the last 3 years. And no, theater doesn't count as "geeky". Especially coming from England as that's how a whole lot of actors & actresses over there get their start. That's a way of life.
  12. The only thing "geeky" he's been in recently is STID. And he'll be the voice of Smaug in the Hobbit films, but it's not like we'll see him on camera. Didn't know 3 films consituted "all things geeky lately".
  13. Not all WMs have dropped the line, the local one still has them after the reset. And I've seen about half of the new wave at 1 of the TRUs I hit regularly. Got a second Data-Viper & Combat Ninja for myself.
  14. Yeah, should be soon. It said 4-6 weeks & I did mine right at the start of Aug. (hoping they'd get here by Aug. 27 which was my birthday). No dice yet.
  15. As I said in the thread on the Blu-Ray it's a lot of reworking, shuffling & extending of various scenes. The stuff that's the deleted scenes are just that. Nothing to do with the extended cut.
  16. My buddy has been playing it pretty often. No problems for him.
  17. Not really sure, but it's definitely SW as I do recognize the music. Maybe from the Death Star battle?
  18. Godzilla, Mothra & King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack. GMK for short.
  19. Got my Orko today. They got 2 of him & 4 Icarius this week. Other Orko goes to my best friend.
  20. And as I predicted the stickers were nothing at all to get done. Hardest part was figuring out where to put a few of them in city mode. Took just about an hour flat to do the whole thing & that included full transformations from mode to mode. The smallest ones are the ones on his head at the top. Sorry, I've just gotten used to having more of a challenge with stickers thanks to Gundam model kits. I am however loving this guy. I even found the eye movement lever. Nice touch.
  21. I've actually got a couple of the MM Patrols on the way (along with some other various G1s & their paperwork). Should be here by Wednesday. Just enough time to get Metroplex ready when he arrives tomorrow.
  22. Sucks that it's the Zero line which are just statues though.
  23. Feh! I scoff at the supposed "difficulty" of putting the stickers on this guy. I don't have him yet (soon though, he's on the way from HTS), but I just finished putting together a Master Grade Heavyarms Gundam model kit last night. Including the stickers. And rub-on decals. Trust me, that was infinitely harder than this will be. Especially since many of the stickers are about the size of a screw head on the Gundam. I couldn't even use tweezers for 90% of them. I had to use a nail file to peel them off the sheet & tap them into place on the kit. So for all those thinking Metroplex is hard, you have no idea what hard really is. @razz@
