  1. Yeah, the one KMart I go to actually had a few Hobbit figures out last weekend. So I checked the price & whaddya know the Warg pack rang up $4. Sold.
  2. Because it's been cancelled. Again.
  3. NERD! @smilepunch@ j/k Awesome man. And an even more awesome lady for accepting your proposal.
  4. Well, they did just announce it at C2E2 on April 29. Bloody hell though, this sucks. One of the best series at Marvel. It does sound like it's ending under his own terms though, so I guess that's good. But damn, I'm gonna miss my monthly Madrox fix.
  5. $125 is what the card said at TF.
  6. I actually have met a slave Leia cosplayer. Got my pic taken with here a few years ago at a local comic convention. Missed her this year as she was doing a panel talk about costuming while I was there but I met another gal who was with her dressed as Harley Quinn from one of the Arkham games.
  7. And guess what? Dark Horse has a SW comic for FCBD again this year. Seriously, what is your problem man? You say you like SW, but you're so bloody negative about every bit of SW news. If you don't like it, ignore it. Enjoy SW in your own way & let others enjoy it in their way.
  8. Got to meet Jerry "The King" Lawler yesterday at the Cape Comic Con in Cape Girardeau, MO. Great guy, got a pic with him & he signed his book for me. Even recorded a message for one of my friends who is battling Hodgkin's lymphoma right now & his white cell count is really low so he doesn't go out very much right now (I had him record a message on my phone for King a couple of days ago which I did save). And I didn't realize until we had already left that I forgot to hit save on my phone so I had lost the message. Bloody hell. @bH@ I'm too used to just using a regular camera where pics are automatically saved. I've only had a cell phone for a couple of months. My buddy was very understanding when I talked to him last night & was just glad Lawler had wanted to send him a message of well wishes. But I still feel like a colossal @moon@ .
  9. Snagged Protector & Red She-Hulk at a local comic show at 2 for $30. Great deal.
  10. Yup, those are the only 2 SDs released by Hallmark. I think I've got every regular release SW ornament & most of the Preview ones they've been doing the past few years. I think all I'm missing is a Jawa/R2 pair & a Tusken. And I don't have any of the convention exclusives either.
  11. Saw a Hyperion at my local TRU & checked the scanner. It rang up right this time, $19.99 as a Marvel Legend.
  12. Yeah, the 3-packs have officially been bumped up to $29.99. Can't be seen as being cheaper than Wal-Mart (they're $25 or $26 there). The MLs have been $19.99 at TRU for awhile now. Seeing as the Hit Monkey wave is scanning improperly & the Terrax/Zola figures are still showing $19.99 I'm going to stick with my "someone frakked up" theory. BTW, I did find a lone Hyperion at Wal-Mart on Sunday.
  13. It looks like someone screwed up putting them in the system. That $29.99 price is for the MU 3-packs. Which is what the new MLs are ringing up as. I checked the price with one of the scanners on Protector Sunday & it said MU pack or something instead of Marvel Legends. So someone blew it. Badly.
  14. I'm not seeing a problem. Just randomly went to a section & everything is fine.
  15. What are you talking about? They didn't "pass the buck". They just went ahead & announced that it was going to be discontinued. They've even mentioned on Twitter or somesuch that it was slated to go out of production next year. It's not "passing the buck" or bowing to pressure or anything else. It's the normal business practice for LEGO.
  16. Meh. It's not like they don't usually retire sets after a couple of years anyway. 2014 is pretty much when the set would normally be scheduled for retirement. It's business as usual for LEGO. Heck, the series 9 LEGO minifigure collection is listed as retiring soon on LEGO's site & it was just released around X-Mas. This is a non-issue from LEGO's standpoint. It's just LEGO telling them they "won" when in reality it was probably slated to be discontinued next year anyways. It's too bad people can't bother to fact check things properly.
  17. Guess I'll kick off this months for once. Snagged the lone Kickback at a local Wal-Mart today.
  18. Not anymore. As I said, as I see 'em, I burn 'em. @firedevil@
  19. Found a fresh case of TVC at my local WM this afternoon. And it was the Malgus/Imp. Navy Comm. wave! So I'm finally done with 2012 figures now that I've got the INC. Price matched with TRU's $4.99 sale this week & grabbed the Malgus for a buddy as well. Now if I could just get that fraggin' Bastila Shan figure. Ugh.
  20. I'm seeing comments like yours over at HissTank as well. If folks like you & those guys over there are giving it great reviews, I'd say me & my buddies will love it too. Not sure how soon (defintiely before the weekend is over) we're going to see it, but it sounds like it'll be worth our time.
  21. Just a head's up guys. Any time you see a post like this with multi-broken images it is a SPAMBOT. Do not reply, just ignore it. Especially since the post isn't even theirs, it's just copy & pasted from a previous post in the thread. Go back to page 1 of this thread & look at the third post. Second sentence is the exact same as this. Again, just ignore these spammers & we'll nuke 'em out.
