  4. True, no one knows what the con set is, but then again some just buy it no matter what to have "one of everything." I don't know what the con stuff is either but I plan to get one of each, and also enjoy the convention itself. A review of last years con economics give me the price. I have done this several years in the past and it always works out as a win-win for me, my wife, and the joe buyer who can't get to the con but wants everything sold/provided. The Con Set should be around $315 (hopefully not higher, who knows they always raise the price), and last year they had a high number of exclusives (2 pack Int'l PP figures $45, PP Stinger and figure $45, Water Moccasin Repaint $35, Cobra Commander $22, Paratroop Televiper Officer $20 and then also the carded Dialtone $25), plus of course the attendee free item whatever it may be (price nothing, but homefront purchasers can't get it). Total is like $507 not including the ability to get the free attendee item, factor in my wife isn't thrilled to stand in line with me for two hours to help me pick up the sets and then in line to buy the exclusives (hence nice dinner to make it up to her), but I need her and the ticket to make sure I get one of each the first night on Thursday, the bite paypal takes for the money transfer, and the shipping will be around $25-40, and voila right around $600. Paying me up front means I can order the day it goes up on registration, hoping to be one of the first 100 so we get the exclusive pin and in the first group of people picking up my con set and getting exclusives. Again, the golden ticket thing from last year chaps my hide, but we should be able to get one of each. So total costs, and the hassle of fighting fellow joe fans and the actual costs may be more or less depending on the exclusives offered, but considering what the listing price will go for once they hit ebay, if I happen to make $25-50 for my time and effort I think it's a fair trade for being able to stay home yet still get everything without fighting others who might outbid you. P.S. I am not forcing anyone to make this deal, but I deal on all the joe boards and have great feedback as chuckles32, if you want to find me on ebay I am under kitpproductions and highvoltageproductions as I buy and sell (not so much anymore) on Ebay.
  5. I am going to JoeCon with my wife, and as usual will be able to pick up one extra box set with free item for attendees and one each of all 3 3/4 exclusives including paratrooper figure if it is a 3 3/4 figure this year. I normally charge $600 to cover the set and all exclusives as that covers the taxes, my time, packages, shipping, and paypal fees and is way better than ebay. Considering the mess that GIJCC is having with credit card fraud issues and if you are worried about paying them directly with a credit card I can take care of that for you, as I plan to use a prepaid card to pay for my set and the extra set, as well as loading up a separate card for when I go to the convention iteself or use cash. Anyway, if you are interested, please drop me a line.
  6. Only about a nine hour drive from Kansas, so at last better than the drive to Atlanta (14 hours).
  7. Anybody that doesn't want their RIP IT Mauler / Hiss Driver, instead of sending back to MC I will give you $20 plus $5 for the shipping. Need 2 of them.
  8. Been trying to contact you but you inbox is full.
  9. Looking for the following: figures only is fine or with accessories Major Altitude (blue v2) Crimson Guard Commanders Snow Serpents v2, v3 or v4 Astro Vipers cheap (really want the head only) Iron Anvils Swamp Vipers Viper v3 (sonic brown ones) Also looking for Sky Patrol Altitude Helmet Storm Eagle or Liquidator yellow missiles
  10. Funny, first six packs went up to 24.99, now the number of figures drop to five. Oh, well, thankfully my 32 Viper Pits satisfied my army building urge, and Cobra Saboteur doing up the correct boots for me will be just fine. I may buy one of these 5 packs, but not feeling that much love for troop building the 25th anniversary stuff, one or two to keep MOC and maybe one to open is it.
  11. I had a great time at the con, and made some new friends. Kevin, thanks for handling that room planning, and Mark and KingofPain that I roomed with. Also everyone I met Gary, George, Chazz, Skrapaz, Taz and others who I am sorry to say forgot the names. So let's see what I blew on the con. Con set and extra set $402 Extra bagged set from King of Pain $134 Extra bagged set from another person that I don't know who didn't buy one $134 2 X Grand Slam/Starduster 2 Packs $92 5 X Air Vipers $100 2 X Iron Mechs $38 5 X Moth IV $125 1 X Moth III $25 3 X Moth II $75 6 X Steel Brigade 2 pcks $150 1 X Steel Brigade Command Pack $50 1 X 2pack of Ferret ATVs $25 2 X Rowdy Roddy Piper figures, one to open, one to get signed $50 1 X GICC Red Nullifier 2006 figure $20 3 X General Mayhem loose from MC booth odds and ends $20 1 X 12" Civil War Con Exclusive $88 1 X 12" last year Artic Adventure Team guy and accessories set $40 1 X 12" Black Foreign Adventures Set $20 3 X Rip It & Shredder Tank $234 1 X Steeler and Mauler Tank $78 Killumati Pimp Daddy Destro coat and long black trenchcoat $22 Cold Front $5 Sealed Night Paratrooper or whatever Guile $8 Nitro Viper with gun $5 Terrordrome Big guns with caps, and 2 rampart things they sit on $20 Lots of loose figures from the guys with bins of them for custom and fodder, probably around $100 Devils Due Comics $25 Marauder John Weapons and stuff $62 Armageddon toys - Shadowtrack for $5, Hiss IIB for $65, Vyper from 1997 for $10 Loose Lt. Claymore from this years con set $20 Various loose figure and vehicle parts and accessories from various vendors $60 Total cost, 2 X planned budget and will be resorting to pimping my blood and other assorted second jobs on top of main job to cover this...LOL. Next years con should be fun. Hoping for a bit closer of a drive.
  12. I'll be there, and I thought Admiral Hunter you had me down as sharing your room thing too. I don't post a lot but we emailed back and forth about three months back. So you still got room. Charles
  13. Another piece is up, and it looks like the end of a tank barrel very similar to what I remember the Mauler's barrel looked like. If it truly is a Marauder I will be very happy indeed. Supposed to be a second piece added again later today, and then only two more to go...
  14. I would be very interested and pay very quickly if you hit anymore of the stores to get these BAT packs. I love these BATS for army building, and I would buy 10 - 20 packs at one pop, just let me know how much for them, plus some cash for your trouble, and shipping costs. Charles
  15. Hey I can dig it, this is my Headhunter group of troops. HEADMAN ENTERPRISES: Headman Vince (Monkeywrench head on a Headman body) Headhunter v1 (14) and the heavy crew Gristle Gristle Crew (5 Gristles with head swaps) Headhunter Storm troopers (13)
