  1. I think you nailed it there in your list... they haven't done nearly as well as of late in updating old G1 characters, which is really a shame. This line should've been the precursor to the movie in '06, but it's looking more like it's going to go another direction than heralding the return of G1.
  2. Honestly, in all the scheduling shakeups and such on CN I'd completely forgotten to look for new eps anyway. I didn't really like the storyline, so I don't feel I'm missing out too much. Hasbro is committing marketing suicide by staying w/ CN for Cybertron though... way to bury what has the potential to be the best TF line since RiD in terms of design and play value. Makes one wonder how TFs would be doing if they had a better show carrier like FoxBox or something......
  3. I think the only failures lately in TFs are the poor choices in Alternator remolds, and of course the TRU reissue problems of overpricing and funky distribution. I give Hasbro credit for trying to satisfy collectors by removing the springs and returning the missiles to their original lengths, (in fact I think it's great 'cause the springs wear out after a while anyway), but unless they find a way to drop the price then it's still hard to justify the expense. As for Cybertron, I think the new packaging looks awesome, but *may* be confused w/ the Star Wars Clone Wars figure carding. I think it looks awesome though, like they took the MTMTE page layouts and made packaging from it.
  4. Yeah, I picked up Energon Starscream and Roadblock yesterday, and got the latest combiner limbs a few days previous... kinda sad to know that the last of the Energon figures are shipping now, isn't it?? I mean, once they're all found, there's nothing to do but wait until summer for Cybertron to hit.
  5. C'mon, dude... I think it's fairly safe to say that most of this fandom doesn't know what that's like anyway, otherwise we'd probably be doing that instead of collecting TFs!! @smilepunch@
  6. I agree w/ redrum2581... if they don't remold Prowl into Red Alert, they're frickin' nuts. I still won't like the mold any better, but it could definitely work for them. Like everyone else, I'm still puzzled at the 2nd remold of the Corvette... should we anticipate 3 versions of each mold now, or is this a stall tactic until more new molds are designed??
  7. EDIT: Whoops, double-post. Sorry guys!
  8. 1/1/03 on that pic, eh Dark Gundam?? Man, you really got the drop on the rest of us! I personally prefer going for the symmetrical look on Superion... both arms/legs matching. At least that way both arms have some articulation besides the shoulders.
  9. Beat me to it. Cool, less work.
  10. I can make it up for you; I'll need a few hours, but it should be fairly easy. Do you need it as an EPS or AI file?
  11. Awesome work there - I would leave the cannon as it is though, since it's just an add-on at this point anyway.
  12. Nice looking collection... I'm esp. jealous of the CR Brave Max you've got there. I could use that Megabolt Megatron as well. Man, I'm so close to having that whole line!
  13. Like most here, I don't remember the Minicons' names, nor do I really care. Once I had enough of a grasp to follow along the comics' arc, I stopped trying to remember them! I have the same problem w/ the Micromasters series too, only worse since I never owned any Micromasters to be able to put the toy w/ the comic version.
  14. Straight Edge nailed it... I love that ep; one of my all-time favorites. They even got SS's voice pretty close.
  15. Yeah, I just tested it too... although I've yet to find these outrageous eBay prices everyone is talking about either. Still, that's the best price I've seen recently.
