  1. It was a schlong read, wasn't it? Ken, please! Save some of your material for the penis thread!
  2. Sorry I knew that I should've shaved my chest and belly before taking the pic! @loll@
  3. You don't see that little person icon next to my name over on the left?
  4. Rika, It's the little person icon that has color when the person is online, and is gray when the person is offline. If you hold your mouse pointer over that icon, it will say online or offline.
  5. Oh, I'm sure you'd make it. Nothing to worry about out there!
  6. Yes they are! @smilepunch@ Time to make that penis thread! Maybe I'll just merge this thread with that one and just call it "Parts is Parts"! @smilepunch@
  7. @loll@ That ad is all sorts of wrong! "Fill your desire for something long, juicy" HAHAHA
  8. Mark your calendars folks! VH and I agree! Maybe November 1st should be a holiday now? @smilepunch@ oooh now! We've agreed on something, at least, maybe, ONCE before? @smilepunch@ I think we did once, but then one of us changed our minds so it doesn't really count! Actually, we've agreed on more than one thing in the last 8 years, it's just been awhile! I never would've guessed that circus peanuts would be the thing that brought us closer VH! @smilepunch@
  9. Ah, but "acting fairly" is always going to be a matter of opinion! If a member complains about people attacking each other in a thread and the mods do nothing, then that member is going to feel they were treated unfairly. If we do step in and issue warnings, then the members that are warned complain that we aren't being fair, that we're censoring, that we're Nazis, etc. It's pretty much a no win situation for the mods as we are always going to be stepping on somebodys toes. There are rules here, and it's the mods job to make sure they are followed. A few people seem to think that the GD section is just a free-for-all and that rules don't apply. That's just simply not the case. It's funny though....I think we are pretty easy-going for the most part and have allowed a lot more controversial topics compared to when I first joined ADC/TNI over 8 years ago. So why do heated topics run free and go from opinions to personal bashing and fighting, which noone does nothing about, but when a topic offends a mod they jump all over it? And your not always contributing but your always around? What the #$## are you, a parent? I have no problems with mods being fair. Wheeljack has chewed me out and put me in line multiple times without just giving a warning like a snide #@$#@. You didnt like what I had to say so you punished me without warning or question. Thats lame in my eyes and I have no respect for you, I used to, but now you just seem pathetic to me. Since you feel the need to continue airing this in public, I warned you for the way you were treating Rika. You kept lashing out at her and then when she started the Vacation thread, you made a snarky comment first thing. I don't know which mod made the comment invisible, but I can still see it. As I explained to you before, that's why you got a warning. I guess I can cross you off my Christmas card list this year!

  12. You're taking my comment too seriously. I was just joking about it being a boob thread and the fact that I'm gay! As far as "if you don't like it, don't look at it", as a mod I HAVE to look at it! I had nothing to do with the thread being unapproved, nor did I complain about it. Well, then Jase I retract any derisive comments toward you, with my apologizes. Heat of the moment kinda thing. I do understand that as a mod you HAVE to look at all threads, but so long as you do it objectively, not personally. I mean, were I a mod, I would delete all the political threads if I had my way. But knowing that adults will be adults and bicker about such things, so long as it doesn't involve real threats or flaming or such: let 'em play. And I want to second TangibleGhost's comment that this isn't really about the BOOBS part of the boobs thread, but more the way it was handled and the fact that some people think they have to protect everyone from anything mildly(and I know that thread was mild) objectionable. If I put up a thread called "OMG, check out this hilarious kitty video"(which I do love to watch, btw, lol) but inside were nothing but scantily clad women(or men) or terrible gore or something, I would certainly hope and expect it to be taken down. But as long as its clearly marked for what it is...let adults make their own decisions. The only underage person I ever remember around here was NightCreeper, and I haven't seen anything from him in ages. In fact, he's probably of age by now. O/T, he was a cool kid, I hope everything is going well for him. VH or Jase, you've both been here longer than me, you guys know where he went? Or did he just hit that age where he chose girls over toys? Anyhoo, back to topic: Mods, less censorship/protection of sensitive feelings; more control over flaming and physical threats. If people's feelings are easily hurt, they'll avoid said topic at their own discretion. Unless they're stupid, then they deserve it. :-P The last time I saw NightCreeper, he was collecting higher-end items and less of the toy variety. I don't have a problem with the political or religious topics until people start flaming each other. That's when I have a problem with the member and it seems that when a mod issues a warning, we just get a bunch of crap back from people. Being a mod isn't as easy as many think...we're never gonna please everybody in a thread. As long as a thread (including boobs!) abide by the forum rules, I don't have a problem with them: http://forums.toynewsi.com/index.php?app=forums&module=extras&section=boardrules #US1#
  13. Because the General Discussion area has always been a more mature adult themed area of these boards. It was set in place that us older members who were familiar with one another could talk about life and ideas outside of toys. Quite clever if you ask me, considering this was at one point the most visited and contributed area of TNI. Honestly Im not so mad about the boob thread itself being removed, Im mad that because a few mods didnt like it, they used their abilities to remove it when they have never done anything else in this section regarding their jobs. It was overboard, immature, and stupid on their parts frankly. They shouldnt even be mods in this section, they dont do anything to contribute here. Rika flustered as many posts as she could AFTER I called her on it, and Jase came in and made snark comments to people and gave out warnings to those he disagreed with and hasnt bothered to come back since. Thats being biased and doing your job only when it suits you. Thats the complaint I am making. Seriously dude, you're a broken record! I have been back since you were issued a warning, but I haven't posted much. Just because a mod doesn't post as much as they did as a member, it doesn't mean we aren't around. I suggest that you contact JayC via PM about your issues with select mods here instead of just complaining. Take some action!
  14. You're taking my comment too seriously. I was just joking about it being a boob thread and the fact that I'm gay! As far as "if you don't like it, don't look at it", as a mod I HAVE to look at it! I had nothing to do with the thread being unapproved, nor did I complain about it.
  15. Circus Peanuts are the worst EVER!! Like you, just the smell of them is enough to cause hurl action!
  16. Are you talking about Bit-O-Honey, Rika?
  17. Smarta$$. @smilepunch@ @loll@ Actually I'm on vacation and have had a lot of fun running around San Antonio. This place never ceases to amaze me. @jump# Head north a bit to New Braunfels and your amazement will cease! I lived in New Braunfels and San Antonio for a bit back in 2006.
  18. Beaucoup bucks. Like $300 a room ( but they were nice rooms!) But that was 16 years ago. The rooms get booked up really fast......like right months and months before the event. I'm hoping to go with a buddy of mine, but we'll be staying well outside of town--just ensure we have a place. Check out the Bates Motel....they have killer rates!
  19. Awesome costumes! Congrats
  20. Heard about it on the radio. I guess Walmart really does have just about everything! Except DCUC exclusive waves.....
  21. It was me! I thought with the new board that the member could see the warn level and the note that the mod leaves when warning. I just sent you a detailed PM, TangibleGhost.
  22. What made you do a search for caskets at Walmart? Halloween prop? @hmmm@
  23. Oh, I'd spend my whole vacation at home in front of the computer in the GD section! Sounds like paradise! @smilepunch@
