Damn those are sweet. I have SE MIB and I've been holding off on getting SS. I may have to break down. Ugh! Bye, bye money.

roadblock looks awesome why wasn't he in ROC instead heavy duty anyway
Not sure, could be two reasons...
1)They don't own the legal rights to the name.
or
2) They didn't want to make a character completely different than the one people were used to...uh, then again let's make that one reason.

I used to read the Men with Dolls forums, years ago. I think there's more nude customs than you realize!
I'm a MWD alumni too. There was a big GI JOE movement there a few years back.
I can make that Helix. PM me if you're serious.

Also, I just started up my own custom figure blog Insidious Customs! You can see more photos of these figures as well as my other customs and behind the scenes goodies as far as my creative process and what it took to make them. Enjoy!

Until someone posted the pic of Arnold Vosloo, I thought it was Leon from the profesional.
Knowing the tendency of the artist to use real people for their inspirational template on these images of the none movie characters (of which they just used the actual actor) I'm trying to figure out who might have been the model for these two...
any ideas of who maybe? That Pit Commando looks vERY familiar, but I haven't pin pointed it just yet.

A friend of mine who just saw the movie called me and said, "WTF was up with Brandon Frasier playing Flint?" Once I explained he wasn't Flint, she was less upset but still annoyed. ;-)

I'll go into more detail after the auctions end tomorrow but CG spans 6 figures and 3 toy lines and Low Light is only 4 figures and lots of sculpting.
-
I never criticized the changes they made, I only made mention of the sloppiness of the storytelling.

Thanks for the positive words, gang. Heavy Duty Impact Armor body and accessories plus some WWE head with a painted mustache and soul patch. Not sure if it shows up in the pics, but the gear is all detailed out too.

great job, love the less superhero look of the repainted accelerator suits. What did you use for Roadblock?

Like others said above...mix and match her parts! Great fodder!

I really dug the Con International figures but they were missing one vital character that was kind of half given to us with that pilot Scarlett, Glenda! So I did her right. Hope you dig.

"Yes, Polly. Our position is about to be run over by Cobras...so I just wanted to say one thing to you before they do...I" BLAM!

Hey gang, just finished 2 more Rise of Cobra customs in their vintage colors. I'm really thinking they missed the boat on doing this in the movie. They still look techie and cool and slick, but the vintage uniform colors just make them all stand out. Hope you all dig.

It's okay. Thanks again, everybody. I made the weapon out of a leftover SW staff and custom cut styrene blades. (That was an insane learning experience.) The dragons are waterslide decals that I custom made.
She's a one of a kind and too much work to ever repeat. If you like her enough to want to add her to your collection, she doesn't have any bids yet so get her while you can.
oops didn't mean to be rude by answering pestyals question w/ comment on the fig.
Good job. very smooth paint apps, i can tell you spent some time on this.
Did you make that weapon? It and the dragon and characters on her shash impress me the most.
