    Hi erik,

Thank you for your interest in Hasbro, Inc.

Since many revisions may occur prior to a product release, information, such as release dates, possible new items and where to buy future products, is not available in advance for distribution. We ask that you visit our web site at http://www.hasbro.com often for the most current product information.

There are no plans at this time to discontinue the 25th Anniversary line.

We appreciate your understanding and your interest.

    yadayada yada

yea yeah yea , im sure theyre not going to cancel the assault and defense packs so what that being said , im now gonan sleep with my eyes open , how are people getting these so soon ?

  2. I guess all in all , that's what it boils down to .

Bottom line I was just never thrilled to see neon joes , but on another note , vehicles like the bugg and the cobra ballistic battle ball , and such other stuff of that nature is just screaming out a space battle , i mean you see toys like that and automatically you include them with some sort of sci-fi adventure battle ?

but vehicles like the night raven wich derived from the Lockheed D-21 .

and vehicles like the rattler and skys triker , i mean automatically you know theyre gonna be in a certain tiem period , or of that era , as opposed to a pogo ballistic battle ball , unless theres a war in an courtyard , your gonna feel over dressed for that party !

Either way i dont care too much , im just saying its plain to see where everyones joe hearts are set , and its clear in my mind that i will def stay away from joes painted in a neon color scheme

p.s. i dont knwo why some letters are bold . im not forum savy i suppose

  3. first thing first ,Transformers , sucked ass ! Although there was soem potential gijoe vehicles for a nice gijoe movie instead of the cock smoking garbage thats about to be released , i think crossovers suck !

examples on the new transformers 2 movie

    night raven check

    uss flagg check

    sky striker check

    troops check

    green shirts check

    hot ass barronesse replacement check

    lanky looking duke check !

    eye candy special effects FAIL!

  4. Hello all,

its my brithday today ,big 31< thank you, thank you , aaand my wife picked me up a rattler some figs and she happened to be at marshalls and picked me up the complete mass device set excluding set 5 , just wondering if any of you guys want to trade for any of these ?

    p.s.

the fact that she went on a hunt for me was awesome !

  5. Hate to burst your bubble, but GI Joe (in so far as the 80s line) has ALWAYS had a hefty futuristic/sci-fi slant. The 25th line succeeded heavily on nostalgia and retro designs, not because the figures were expressely "war heroes". In fact one of the single most popular 25th figures (the BAT) is a ROBOT!

Keep in mind that the 25 line (not to mention the original line itself) is loaded with such "contemporary" items like a weapons dealer with a metal mask, ninjas, bikers, jet packs and robots.

You're free to enjoy GI Joe however you like, but GI Joe: RAH has NEVER been a source for a super realistic toyline.

no no no , stevy , your not understanding my point , , sure gijoes were never meant to be a realistic toy line what i was refering to was the fact that gijoe was swayed over to a whole new playing level , it went from jungle and desert battles to a space battle , sure some vehicles were depicted from a real source as others were made up or tweaked slightly , but i do not agree that gijoes should be in bright colored gear and crazy colored camo that doesnt realisticly adapt to real life battles , and yes the b.a.t IS a robot , im not ##$%$#ed , aaahh forget it , to much of a touchy subject

all im saying is your right the 25th series was put out and did very well on nostalgia , but what if theyd put out gijoe from 1989 and up , would you be as excited to collect them would the pegs be full or empty

  6. I know im gonna catch some slack , but how many of us on here preffer actual war style soldiers either in a vietnam theme or a dessert theme or an arctic theme rather than some futuristic space B.S. ! I stopped collecting joes as a kid right around 88 and do not regret any joes that came out after that , Well unless they were in plain colors and not neon orange or pink and yellow color combos , but looking back at it , all the 25th anniversary joes that were released were war heroes correct ,everyone was pleased with right?

So if hasbro was to release a neon colored joe would it sell (would you buy it ),

So my question is , How many people agree joes do not belong in space unles its some russian sattelite! eeh eeh?

(However stilleto was pretty baller ! I cannot lie but i have to prove a point ! )

  7. hey guys @firedevil@ so today i was trying to make another gray sea ray , aaaand , the one i got off the bay , wich i shouldve know better , was so brittle , i couldnt even put it together , because it shattered into a million pieces , yeah so im out , good night yall ! #$## life !

  8. More than likely all targets will have they're joe stuff on clearance by the end of july , but stores that were overstocked most def will be clearing out they're shelves to make room for the new rise of cobra characters ...I have gone to four targets and only one had a clearance sale going on

  9. Does it fit 25th figures?

no i wish , that was another questin i was gonna ask , do you guys know of a way to fit the 25th , maybe dremmeling out the back knotches on the figures . or the sea ray ? i dont know , but my frog men need a vehicle :D

  10. So i painted my tomahawk the other day , clam mentioned that a battle ship grey would be cool for the tomahawk , soo i figuered having three sea rays lying around , i did a grey sea ray , i used this paint called montana 94 .for those that dont know i do graffiti and have a stash of paint bigger than you can imagine , any who this paint i used is a "Synthetic paint with excellent coverage in all its ranges, matt finish, ultra fast dry. A new high tech valve allows you to use variable pressure for maximum control: the harder you push, the fatter your lines will be". that being said , the sea ray looks awesome imo! thank you clam.....

this ones for you clam ,holla!

  11. i just got back from my target , and yes it is true , figures were 4.88 planes were 17.88 vehicles 9.00 and comic packs 9.00 ... thing is only one target had them on clearance . im assuming theyre low in stock so some stores might not have any left to clear out unless they have a massive overstock ... great come up sammy ,thank you

  12. I always wanted a tomohawk to add to my joeverse and have been blessed with four , so i painted the least complete one black for my cobras ,

question is ,should i go through with my version of the python patrol paint job reversed( black under coat , with red lines ) , or leave it black and slap some decals on it ?

    tomoahawk top view

    side view

    so poll question

murdered out tomahawk , or candy python ? haha no seriously .. feedback please

  13. falcon , those headquarters are nice are they complete ? ,:D you wanna take one out for a private auction ? ;) eeh ? eeh (wink wink knudge knudge )? , just kidding , very nice colection i cant believe you have that many joes , i miss my collection !
