I hope its worth it.......for Green Lantern.......I hope Captain America is a super failure at the box office.
Really, why? Caps an awesome character and we as fans all win if these movies do great(= more comic movies). I hope it's both a good movie and a box office hit.

Im the biggest fan because I actually went on a strict diet and worked out for a year to look good in a Superman costume for halloween.

hal had so manny costumes lately why not do a yellow one or a blue one he also had orange and white. i dont get why they didnt do a yellow version of sinestro either. well maybe sinestro will be in the so rumored third wave of green lantern classics. who knows. rumor goes that mattel does a best of wave with wave 3. maybe they repaint them in other colors because i dont wanna buy another green hal after this one.
Based on the packaging, they are recreating the iconic pose and rivalry of hal vs sinestro.
I am actually really underwhelmed by the constructs mainly because they are not really constructs they are just accessories from other figures molded in green and yellow plastic. They don't come from the ring and they look crappy. I just want a Sinestro corps corrected sinestro any way so this pack is now a big pass for me
i love em. EXCEPT ONE. It makes no sense for the wrench to be in yellow. Yellow is about power, destruction, fear and a wrench is used to fix things. The wrench should have been green. Make the ball and chain yellow.
The wrench is yellow because the weapon is carried over from one of the metalmen. Since the wrench is intended for Iron's right hand, MAttel just repainted yellow since Sinestro's ring is on the right.
I remember reading a story where Sinestro uses a wrench construct to choke someone...or was it a cartoon or am I just making things up.

I saw them at a WalMart in Delaware, but passed, as I already have both.
I never realized how many folks DID NOT get GG or the Giganta part...Bummer.
If it's any consolation (and in my humble opinion), Giganta is the weakest of the C-n-C's. It's a good sculpt, but honestly, it's like having a BARBIE on your shelf, it looks goofy.
Before Kilowog came along Giganta was my favorite CnC. She is an essential part of the Legion of Doom(if you are into that) and a classic Wonder Woman villian. A must have for any DCUC collection.

Im thinking with the realistic angle Nolan is taking that the villian will probably be Deadshot.

Wave 8 was hard to find at first due to logistical issues then it started to show up but GG was short packed so alot of collectors never saw him. I got mine through mikes comics n stuff along with the rest of wave 8. i may pick it up but i am not sure yet
GG wasnt short packed he came 2 per case, just like Hawkgirl. GG was just scalped more than any other wave 8 figure.

Im still waiting for George Lucas to announce he was joking with the prequels and give us the real prequel movies...that said I buy nothing from the prequel trilogy. I only own ANH(will always be Star Wars to me), ESB and RTOJ on DVD and any Star Wars toy I buy is only OT characters. I do watch the PT on TV if it's on though. But I don't really acknowledge the PT at all in terms of any connection to the OT movies that I love.

is she short packed or what cause there are plenty of the rest, especially way too many Blue Beetles!! They are clogging the frigging pegs!!! If he's coming in both case packs then no wonder!! Perfect example of why there should only be one case per wave!!! Now were gonna get stuck with them crappy Beetles at Wal Mart like Target got stuck with his predecessor!!!The animal skin Cheetah was never officially released. Several cases were accidently sent to Corner Store Comics and Amazon, thats where some people(including me) got them.

i scored a green parademon...but im pissed at myself. the target i found it at, previously just had a couple of blue beetles and a black canary (already have 2). they went on sale. the next day the bc was gone. a couple days later, i go in and they had put out a new case...but there were several figures missing. i got the green parademon, but im afraid i missed out on gg...again.
Giganta will never be finished.
You didnt miss out on GG, Green Parademon was shipped in the "best of" cases which is what your Target probably stocked.

On my way home from a Round Rock game I stopped by Wal Mart and picked up Cyclotron!!! O really like it!!! Great color scheme and look to him!! The removesble chest plate and face is a nice updated nod!!! All around a great figure and justice done to the Super Powers line!!!
I assume from the lack of response in this thread everybody has found and hence moved on to the search for wave 14??? Is anyone out there still needing this wave?? 0_0
All I have from this wave is Superboy, Donna Troy and Animal Skin Cheetah. Ill pick up the rest as I see them but Im not actively hunting them because I wasnt that excited about this wave. But Ill get them all eventually.

I didnt as I already own a set but I hope more people did. If this sells well we might see more exclusives sets go up.
I did although I had it already(bought at retail thank God) but the QC was lacking so I thought "why not" on another set...got JLU Lobo also.

Thats how I got a Gentleman Ghost and masked Batman Beyond for $10 each at teh Long Beach CC last year. I bought a bunch of stuff from the same guy and he told me to pick any two DCUC for $10 each. I took those two and later sold the GG(I had one already) on ebay and made most of my money back.

Ill be buying it tomorrow. I just started collecting this line but I have 2 rules 1. I only buy figures that appeared on the show and 2. I have to get them cheap. Because of my rules I have a very small collection(7 figures).

I love the Bizaro fig!! The only thing id like to see fixed is the wide leg stance.

I would LOVE a LOD Bizarro based on the Superman buck. The DCSH one is cool but he would be moved from my LOD shelf to the Supes rogue shelf when(if) we get a more LODesque Bizarro.

That's what they said about the modern Red Tornado back then. He'll be released later and a year after they canceled it.
I think thats what people are paranoid about, considering modern Red Tornado, White Face Harley and all gold modern Dr. Fate. They saw it will be released but then it gets sidetracked.

I asked Toyguru this question over on the Ask Matty forum, and this is what he said:
"The vintage Cheetah and the black pants/tank top Cheetah will be in the Mattycollector.com set. The all fur version was apparently accidently shipped to a few online sellers. This was in error. The all fur version is coming, but not in the wave 13 set.

This was posted over at MattyCollector so Naked Cheetah wont be shipping with Matty's wave 13. But Toyguru said they are going to get them out.

No trade, I bought it I was NOT going to pay the recently inflated prices on ebay, people want 50 to 60 bucks for the figure and the loose version is going for 35-40 bucks now.
So someone helped you out with this figure...good for you. I have it and it is NOT worth what people are paying for it. It should have been regular released variant to begin with.

Well I just got the nekkid one from Amazon today so CSC wasnt the only place that got them in. You had to order from Amazon themselves, not a retailer using the site. It came out to $14.99 with free shipping if you sign up for a free Prime trial. So if you want this version go to Amazon.
Do you mind saying how long the wait was between placing the order and delivery? I got the Super Saver shipping, but I think the delivery estimate was a couple of weeks.
With the free Prime trial they offered a two day delivery option. I ordered it on Monday afternoon and received it today.

Well they put wave 5 out again Didn't they ?! Didn't it include the baf parts too ?...
Mattel also reissue MOTUC products so I wouldn't be shocked if they release waves 1-3 as complete sets at Mattycollector
The problem with wave 2-3(especially 3) is Nightwing, GL and Robin have been reissued, wave 2 Aquaman is also being reissued(in a metallic shirt) and we will probably get a Sinestro in an all star villian wave. With half of wave 3 reissued already I dont see them reissuing them on Matty. Wave 5 was a special case with intentional low production to appease Walmart, wave 2 & 3 was available everywhere(etailer, KB, Target, etc) AND I still find wave 2 sometimes.
