  1. As long as the only way to get them somehow includes Toyfare or Wizard, they won't be on my shelf. It's a moral issue for me. By buying this two pack from anybody (TF, you, eBay, etc.), somewhere down the line Toyfare got money for them. I'm banking DST will release these figs in a regular wave later, like they are for the "exclusive" Silver Surfer and Ultimate Spidey.
  2. Technically, I would be supporting you and Toyfare.
  3. Nah I won't be buying these because I refuse to support anything from Wizard or Toyfare. Oh well...
  4. Yep, he's got no rhythm. And for Grimlock, if you don't get a response from AA, try emailing DST. They'll probably just tell you to return it to the location you purchased it. Good Luck. Damn, now I've got that song in my head. I'm never gonna dance again Guilty feet have got no rhythm Though it's easy to pretend I know you're not a fool I should have known better than to cheat a friend And waste a chance that I've been given So I'm never gonna dance again Ohhhh-uh-oooooooh. Now you have it too.
  5. Thanks for the recognition folks. My root page is http://www.spacemegs.com/ivan There are more toons linked there. You're not likely to see any ###### in my toons anytime soon.
  6. Two Gold Spideys have popped up on eBay since their release. The first ended at a price up over $1000, but the sale was never completed. There was a report on the AA forums that the seller contacted the second place bidder and offered to sell Spidey to him. The bidder agreed, and sent a good chunk of money ($500, I think) and the seller disappeared. The second is still reachable at this link. From feedback left by the bidder, it appears as though the sale went through. I think only about a dozen (of 50) were given away at the cons. So, there are still more available, and nobody knows how they will be released.
  7. Looks like you've exceeded your daily bandwidth cap. When I click on this link: http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-3/142696/page1.jpg I get a page informing me "Access Denied (Usage Limit) The owner of this file has exceeded their daily usage limit." I think the images are still cached on your machines, that's why you can still see them. Looks like we'll have to try back tomorrow.
  8. You might want to check at the Art Asylum boards. He's fairly regular over there. http://www.artasylum.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi Unless of course there are Two Angry Dwarves running around the Trek toy collecting forums. If that's true, were all doomed! DOOMED I tells ya!
  9. not just you, but the proto is pretty bad done:P Yeah, that's what I thought too. Maybe it's just the paint app. Thanks for the pics.
  10. Is anybody else picturing this in their mind? Oooooh, Amidala, oh, oh... :shudder: :D
  11. There are differences between the Ultimate Spider-Man (with Gray Hulk)and the regular one that will be released later. Ultimate: http://www.figures.com/databases/action.cg...how_article=129 Regular: http://www.banned/modules.php?o...=index&id=12864
  12. I hope I don't sound like a shill for Art Asylum. But MisterPL over on the AA boards compiled a great list here: http://www.artasylum.com/cgi-bin/ultimateb...c&f=14&t=000003 About 40 have been 'announced' one way or another. I think we'll see about 25 different ones in the first wave. Almost every retailer has a different packaging scheme. MisterPL has it all layed out nicely.
  13. Wow newbies can win! PM has been sent. Sorry Riker. I think I'll be keeping this guy. But if you win some of those Marvel Minimates exclusives, I might consider a trade. Hot diggity!
  14. I think that was just something put together for the show. Art Asylum has said their license with Marvel doesn't include the possiblity of playsets. It does look pretty cool, though.
  15. Barbies can be fun. Like popping all the heads of your sister's Barbies, wrapping them up in a big box and giving them back to your sister on her birthday. ...Ahhhhh...good times, good times.
