  1. There was no condescension in my post.  I was pointing out that there's no need to jump all over Hasbro already when there's no details available whatsoever.

He has valid questions which concern a lot of people, he didn't "jump on Hasbro".

I agree they were valid and quite important. But we know nothing about the details of the online shop.

I apologize for my dry sarcasm not coming across the way it was intended.

  2. way to be negative before it even starts guy..

I guess there's one in every crowd.

Aside from your condescending attitude, these are very valid concerns. Everyone is so caught up on the moment that they haven't had time to think about it. Aside from the issues I already brought up, what of foreign collectors? My guess is that they will be left in the cold with this deal.

Were these actual mail in items that were easy to ship, that's one thing. It's something else all together with the way they're approaching this. We'll have to wait and see, but I don't think this is the salvation that collectors were hoping for.

  3. Allow me to enter cynic mode.

Let's see. In order to get new figs, I have to now pay shipping and handling to have them delivered. On top of that, they are now going to new packaging that will make those shipping costs higer?

On top of that, I now have to compete with all Joe collectors at one source rather than with just my local collectors over many sources?

I'm sorry to say, but this doesn't excite me at all. Frankly, it sounds like my collecting costs are going to increase while finding stuff is going to get harder. (Don't think the day they release a single carded Viper that they won't sell out in the first two hours. Sucks for everyone who wasn't watching and waiting every second, eh?)

  4. I like Scorpy but it will take one kick ass repaint to make me want to buy another one. E-Scorpy warmed shelves around here for so long it wasn't even funny! I wonder if he'll be a limited release like E-Ultra Magnus was.  @hmmm@

It's the opposite here. Scorponoks are flying off the shelves, yet we're STILL stuck with Ultra Magnuses

    the world is so weird...

  5. How come smokescreen is the only altenator with all the graphic paint job? Think about it...sad aint it?

Because he's the only rally car so far?

I'm glad he's the only one, I don't want any fast & furious looking crap on my alternators.

  6. Original series issue #5; best TF cover ever.

total agreement, nothing new even touches that cover.

Why ? Because the phrase "Are All Dead." butchers the english language ? It doesn't even make sense...

I've always read that a add on to The Transformers.

So it would read The Transformers.....are all dead

Which is the way it is intended...

That cover to me is great for a couple reasons:

    1) The other covers of that time (1&3) were hideous and had numerous color errors on them. This one is pretty "life-like" looking, like they were going for a look of someone taking a picture of shockwave.

    2) It's very toy accurate.

    3) It's very dark and gloomy which was rare for tf's

    4) It signified that the tf comic was going to continue and wasn't just a 4-issue special.

  7. I don't have a problem with them using the firefly mold a lot, if it makes sense.

    so let's see:

    Tiger Force Wreckage - check

    BJ 8-pack - *head scratch*

    Urban Division - check

    Comic Pack - BIG CHECK

Crimson Pack - Firefly's a crimson guardsmen now?

Don't get me wrong I like the fig deco a lot, it's just weird to see him included in a crimson pack..
