  1. News Update:

Deal for 1/48 fast packs is a go...

source says they will sell for 45 each

i am pretty damn happy with that =)

who's selling at that price? and shipping?

its a hook up price and there is no shipping because i am going to pick it up. I think the normal price he sells them for is 65....

not sure.. i thought i was going to have to pay 50 to 55 bucks for them, and seeing how they are getting harder to find i was going to jump at that deal, hehehe

damn, i could use a few more for my enigma and cannon fodder customs

  2. It is possible these days to make a fully articulated monster toy in 1/18 though. If Beast Wars can have a Joe sized four legged figure that has blades for arms and can still be poseable and transform, GI Joe could have done it also.

Have you seen wave 2 yet? Let Hasbro correct the humans first...

  3. My question to original only collectors is this.....Is your collection any better cause you have an original instead of a reissue?

For me it is (and not because of any monetary value).

I prefer originals for reasons I explained earlier, but which can be summed up as being that the originals have character and charm, having lasted 20 years. Case in point, I brought a Takara Sideswipe reissue cheaply, decided after a week or so that it meant nothing to me, sold it on, and got a nice original Sideswipe that did mean something to me and that I could enjoy looking at.

You're welcome to your opinion man, I just see it completely different. I find originals to frankly be kinda boring. I love that takara does little touches to make the re-issue's new and give them more personality, ie: Sideswipe's blue eyes, Anime correct Starscream, Optimus's energy axe, mini-megatron.

  4. I'd like to see an alternator construction truck

the Devastator begging would never end if that happened.

I could see some Caterpillar vehicles as constructicons being pretty freaking sweet.
