Buzz Off. I don't know why Matty even bothered with this free figure nonsense. Even a minor repaint of an existing toy, which could at least be called "new" would have been better than simply getting a random duplicate of a figure that I already own.

Toys R Us appears to be the only brick & mortar store to carry the Classic Turtles. I got mine online, from Walmart.com.
I would love to have Splinter, Bebop, Rocksteady and The Shredder. This line needs to continue.

I had some of those. The Thing was a great figure. The Human Torch was pretty nice and I liked that Spider-Man.
The Superhero Showdown Captain America figure in your picture looks like a Marvel Zombies Cap that's nearly finished.

Even more than Marvel being its "original home", it makes perfect sense because the company is all about overexposure of its money makers (Wolverine, Avengers, etc.) and you won't be able to swing a dead cat without hitting Star Wars in 2015.
Chances of this happening: 100%.
How would that be any different from all of the Star Wars exploitation that's been done by Dark Horse Comics after all these years?
-
It's not often I'm thanked for being able to be charged money for something.
-
Wow, they even got Mossman on there. This is why the 1980s is the most awesome decade ever.

From the article:
"IDW will be lunching,"
I wonder what restaurant they're going to?
-
All that and the DVDs looks to be in cardboard sleeves, like some throwaway photo-editing software comes with your digital camera.
-
That is surprisingly decent of them to do that second run of JoeCon sets.
-
Looking at it again, The New Adventures of He-Man almost seems like it was meant to be a whole different series that was then turned into He-Man.
-
Meh, call me when it's on DVD.
-
Okay, but does this then mean that Darth Vader was just being condescending towards the other bounty hunters? Why wouldn't he just use Boba Fett in the first place?
As any sci-fi nerd should know, disintegration means there's nothing left of the victim, save perhaps for a pile of ashes, not two burnt skeltons. (See Star Trek II.) I'm sure that Darth Vader only said that to Boba Fett so that we, the audience, can infer that Boba Fett is one ruthless bounty hunter, nothing more.

Another relaunch? That series must have really been selling poorly if IDW is relaunching G.I. Joe again. My cynicism regarding modern day comics remains grounded in reality, unfortunately.

I was in a good mood yesterday, so I pre-ordered Castle Grayskull.
-
Hmm, it's not so much about cost with me as it is about space. I'm afraid to order Castle Grayskull because of that.

I liked this movie a lot. While logical from a business standpoint, I still think it was cruel to split this story into a two part movie.
-
I really hope Hasbro goes the complete vintage route with these Kre-O toys, although I wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro used the delay of the G.I. Joe movie sequel to develop some movie Kre-O sets too.

Okay. That's it pal. You've crossed the line and used your powers for evil.

Someone's got too much free time.

I think we all know Playmates won't go beyond the four brothers, but it is fun to speculate on who we would want them to continue with.
I almost prefer it this way. Seriously, as much as I would love an entire line of super-articulated figures, there's always at least one "must-have" character who dosen't make the cut.
We never got a Movie-Star Casey in the original line. I persoanally would've LOVED to get more Justice Force characters in the 2003 line. And though we did get a Shredder in the TMNT movie line, I would've rather had versions of April and Casey in their street clothes.
Maybe it's just the cynic in me, but if no other characters are made, then no characters are left out.
I think starting slow, with characters from the first season, characters that are most common, would be the way to go.
Master Splinter
The Shredder
April O'Neil
Bebop
Rocksteady
Foot Soldier
Krang (in his android body)
Human Baxter Stockman w/ a couple of Mousers
Fly Baxter Stockman (If Playmates is careful, they could at least reuse the torso from the human Baxter Stockman figure.)
They could also make General Traag and that other rock soldier as well.
I don't a TMNT classics line needs to go crazy and excessive like the original toy line.

I pre-ordered that thing months ago, when the small Hot Wheels K.I.T.T. made it's first appearance at retail. Well, having read how hard it is to find the Hot Wheels version, and never seeing one right in front of me in the stores, I decided to just order the much bigger and nicer looking K.I.T.T. from Entertainment Earth. Besides, I don't want to become one of those people that looks through all of the Hot Wheels.

Thrasher's got a great looking head sculpt. I think looks a little like a young Bela Lugosi.
-
Hmm, how can I seduce J.K. Rowling into marrying me and giving me half of her fortune?
-
Toys R Us should be hiring a construction company to fix up the store I usually go to. The place is lousy and doesn't have enough room for action figures.
Do G.I. Joe figures clash?
