  1. in fact I think I'm going to return snarl just cause ...

Slag (yes SLAG! ;) ) is very cool - you should hang on to him!

I have pics on my blog of him along side G1 Slag: http://toyriffic.blogspot.com/2008/07/slag.html

Its a derogatory term in other English speaking country but the US...

I remember watching "Married with Children" in Ireland and they had edited out Peggy's hometown of Wanker County lol.

Derogatory term or not, my transforming tricerotops' will always be Slag to me ;)

BTW thanks for the link Nguyen...it also appears, based on the plates on his back, that Cheeks' Snarl is the correctly named Stegosaurus ;)

  2. I read the title of the thread and was all "Animated Bandwagon? I don't remember hearing anything about that character..."

    lol

So, what would a Transformer named Bandwagon look like? I'm thinking maybe a rock & roll tour bus haha.

  3. Is that the one you wanted most from that wave? It would have been for me...

Yes, but of course I want the whole wave (and Grundy too!) - I actually had to do a double take when I saw Hal on the pegs. I was like "Wha? Huh? Did I really just see that?"

I checked the scanner and it said there were no more in the stockroom, so someone must have grabbed them all first, and I think Hal is packed two to a case.

  4. @firedevil@ EBAY IS ABOUT TO ISSUE A FULL BANNED ON MOVIE MASTERS... MY SON IN LAW IS A MANAGER AT EBAY IN SALT LAKE CITY @firedevil@

I also have it on good authority that the sky is, in fact, falling.

The chicken in my KFC bucket today was Chicken Little himself.

  5. I like it - although I am trying real hard to stay with the Movie Masters scale for this movie...wait, what am I saying, all I have found is one lone Goon so far!

Well, like I said...I am TRYING! Trying to give Mattel my money. Why do they make it so hard?!

  6. (as soon as I walk out of the theatre on the 18th ;)

Ouch...more salt! @grumpy@ Glad to hear they're easier to get hold of - now i won't have to resort to purchasing from scalper again, or gaze lovingly at my monitor when

you post the pics (though there's a very good chance i'll be doing that anyway until i get one of my very own) ;)

Yes I am sure you will have no problem finding it (although you may have to wait a little longer) - And for future reference, don't do anything crazy (re: scalper feeding) until you consult with your new friends here - if I can help you in the future getting things for cost/shipping or make a fair trade etc. then I'll be glad to. I know there are a lot of other folks who feel the same too!

All of us nutty toy guys gotta stick together!

  7. Do you, or anyone else, happen to own a stealth launch batmobile? I'm finding them hard to come across and wondering if they were also discontinued?

I have mine on reserve at Toys R Us - they won't release it until the 18th

But I was on a road trip this last weekend and a Walmart I stopped in had a ton of them - they do look very nice and they are huge! Looking forward to getting mine (as soon as I walk out of the theatre on the 18th ;) ) and I'll post pics when I do!

  8. OUCH!

That has to hurt, I can barely wait until the 18th!!!!!

By the 24th I should be on my fifth viewing at least ;)

@smilepunch@ You're rubbing salt in the wound! I'm going to have to stay clear of any batman related forums until the 24...you'll all be raving about it and i'll be

    turning green with envy!

That is going to require super-human self control! I haven't been able to avoid all the clips and trailers so far, I can't imagine having to go on an internet black-out for a week!

We'll miss you after the 18th and look forward to your return on the 24th so we can all blab like crazed fans! :D

  9. The key here is Nolan. If Nolan did a story with Robin he would do it well. If Nolan wanted Robin he would surely be able to convince Bale of the merits of the decision. But I doubt Nolan wants to do a Robin story.

That said, I'd bet everything that WB execs DO want Robin. So as long as Nolan and Bale are calling the shots, (via making successful films) it won't happen.

Once Nolan calls it quits, the execs will call in a new director who will kowtow to their superior intellect and we'll see Robin on the big screen again.

Good, bad, or indifferent, that's the most likely scenario based on Hollywood's formulaic past.
