  1. That's hilarious! I would never have made the connection, as it has been forever since I saw the Tick.
  2. I found Universe Prowl today! YAY! Review/more pics at my blog: http://toyriffic.blogspot.com/
  3. Although vastly different from each other, Prowl is in the Universe line and the Animated cartoon as well.
  4. I also have it on good authority that the sky is, in fact, falling. The chicken in my KFC bucket today was Chicken Little himself.
  5. I think Energon Downshift is a pretty good fill-in - especially in robot mode: http://www.transformerland.com/energon.php...eName=Downshift
  6. I like it - although I am trying real hard to stay with the Movie Masters scale for this movie...wait, what am I saying, all I have found is one lone Goon so far! Well, like I said...I am TRYING! Trying to give Mattel my money. Why do they make it so hard?!
  7. Ouch...more salt! @grumpy@ Glad to hear they're easier to get hold of - now i won't have to resort to purchasing from scalper again, or gaze lovingly at my monitor when you post the pics (though there's a very good chance i'll be doing that anyway until i get one of my very own) Yes I am sure you will have no problem finding it (although you may have to wait a little longer) - And for future reference, don't do anything crazy (re: scalper feeding) until you consult with your new friends here - if I can help you in the future getting things for cost/shipping or make a fair trade etc. then I'll be glad to. I know there are a lot of other folks who feel the same too! All of us nutty toy guys gotta stick together!
  8. I have mine on reserve at Toys R Us - they won't release it until the 18th But I was on a road trip this last weekend and a Walmart I stopped in had a ton of them - they do look very nice and they are huge! Looking forward to getting mine (as soon as I walk out of the theatre on the 18th ) and I'll post pics when I do!
  9. @smilepunch@ You're rubbing salt in the wound! I'm going to have to stay clear of any batman related forums until the 24...you'll all be raving about it and i'll be turning green with envy! That is going to require super-human self control! I haven't been able to avoid all the clips and trailers so far, I can't imagine having to go on an internet black-out for a week! We'll miss you after the 18th and look forward to your return on the 24th so we can all blab like crazed fans!
  10. OUCH! That has to hurt, I can barely wait until the 18th!!!!! By the 24th I should be on my fifth viewing at least
  11. The Insecticons need some love - Kickback, Bombshell, and Shrapnel. And as insane as it sounds, I would love to see an update on Topspin and Twintwist - of course they should have some advanced transformations, but they should pay homage to their robot and cybertronian forms.
  12. The key here is Nolan. If Nolan did a story with Robin he would do it well. If Nolan wanted Robin he would surely be able to convince Bale of the merits of the decision. But I doubt Nolan wants to do a Robin story. That said, I'd bet everything that WB execs DO want Robin. So as long as Nolan and Bale are calling the shots, (via making successful films) it won't happen. Once Nolan calls it quits, the execs will call in a new director who will kowtow to their superior intellect and we'll see Robin on the big screen again. Good, bad, or indifferent, that's the most likely scenario based on Hollywood's formulaic past.
  13. That's pretty cool - I'll have to keep my BB 5" figure in there!
  14. Grimlock @loll@ Oh sorry, you meant the other end... Optimus Prime @smilepunch@
  15. Wow - Snake Eyes makes Prowl look a thousand times cooler! BTW - great thread Wiseman! I like your Megs/Prime in front of the computer screen - that's a good way to make backgrounds for toy scenes, I may try something like that myself.
  16. It comes with a 5" figure. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?p...3#prod_prodinfo
  17. Yes, the girl said the 18th. She didn't seem very knowledgeable, and pretty much was just going by the estimated date on the card. I'll check sporadically until then, but that day I'll go in for sure.
