  1. Actually Bruce Timm has been involved with all the animated projects to date. And Dini is writing Detective Comics. They've got no beef with WB/DC that I'm aware of.
  2. I got him the first time around and think he's awesome.
  3. they do but it is a bit high in price here you go as this is what im buying http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product...amp;mode=retail That's EXACTLY how he should look, and a thousand million times better than the one we got!
  4. I won't even consider buying Universe 2.0 Powerglide until he's repainted in his G1 colors, or at least a heck of a lot closer than he is now.
  5. Yeah I regret not picking up the Classics version when I saw him. I never got into the Alternators line because it was so poorly distributed around me that I would have gone insane trying to get the ones I wanted most.
  6. I think in my mind Animated and Classics are a tie - Animated has a few better figures overall but I am not a huge follower of the show, and Classics has the G1 homage going on which I really dig but they release so few at a time. As far as my third choice I picked Legends (the small ones) because I LOVE the G1 Jazz and Hound that just came out and am looking forward to the Animated Bumblebee coming soon, and I will probably pick up the G2 Megatron only because he looks pretty cool and is small and cheap lol!
  7. I did a little side by side review and photo shoot of my Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime/Rodimus at my blog today: Check it out: http://toyriffic.blogspot.com/2008/08/hot-rods.html
  8. When Batman said "To the Bat Pole" Hal took him literally @loll@ (take a look at Hal's left hand)
  9. I saw it the other day and almost picked it up...I passed when I realized it wasn't Palmer. Hopefully the DCUC version will come with a tiny Palmer, because he's "Atom" to me and I could care less about the newer guys. So I say if you have the skills re-paint away!
  10. Actually, I did it that way in order to see his face. But I see what you mean. You still aren't there all the way. His dino-head gets even closer to his body. I don't have an angled pic at the moment but if you notice the level of his "beak" on his torso you can see how it needs to be:
  11. Nice pics and review. The best since the original. Looking forward to the activators Grimmy as well.
  12. You don't have his dino-head properly transformed in bot mode. It should be flush to his chest. It's tricky, but it can be done.
  13. Well then that sure puts this quote in perspective:
  14. Great pics, and great review! I love G1 Jazz, and I have to say that the Animated version's robot mode is cool enough. I haven't seen an episode where his character appears though, so I can't judge his "character." But his car mode just doesn't do it for me. I know the Animated characters are intentionally "tooned" and most are totally cool that way, but Jazz just looks like a FisherPrice toy in car mode to me.
  15. Thanks! I added Jazz today: http://toyriffic.blogspot.com/
  16. I feel exactly the opposite. I could care less about the Sinestro Corps version and just want the regular!
  17. Found this little guy at Walmart yesterday: More pics/review at my blog: http://toyriffic.blogspot.com/ $4.44 at Walmart. I also bought Jazz from the same series, and passed on the G2 Megatron (Tank Megatron) I'll be adding pics of Jazz to my blog tomorrow.
  18. Slag (yes SLAG! ) is very cool - you should hang on to him! I have pics on my blog of him along side G1 Slag: http://toyriffic.blogspot.com/2008/07/slag.html Its a derogatory term in other English speaking country but the US... I remember watching "Married with Children" in Ireland and they had edited out Peggy's hometown of Wanker County lol. Derogatory term or not, my transforming tricerotops' will always be Slag to me BTW thanks for the link Nguyen...it also appears, based on the plates on his back, that Cheeks' Snarl is the correctly named Stegosaurus
  19. Slag (yes SLAG! ) is very cool - you should hang on to him! I have pics on my blog of him along side G1 Slag: http://toyriffic.blogspot.com/2008/07/slag.html
  20. I read the title of the thread and was all "Animated Bandwagon? I don't remember hearing anything about that character..." lol So, what would a Transformer named Bandwagon look like? I'm thinking maybe a rock & roll tour bus haha.
  21. In my excitement, I threw away the receipt! Sorry.
  22. I added some pics of Hal to my blog: http://toyriffic.blogspot.com/2008/08/its-...eing-green.html
  23. Yes, but of course I want the whole wave (and Grundy too!) - I actually had to do a double take when I saw Hal on the pegs. I was like "Wha? Huh? Did I really just see that?" I checked the scanner and it said there were no more in the stockroom, so someone must have grabbed them all first, and I think Hal is packed two to a case.
  24. Found Hal hanging all alone in a Target store in San Jose! One down...
