  1. I've searched high and low all over the internet for a decent review of BifBangPow's Flash Gordon line. To date I've never found a single review, in fact I only found one or two pics of people actually with the product. Despite the mystery involved, I decided to pull the trigger and buy a bunch of the figures. So since nobody else is reviewing them, all this week I'm going to review just about every figure in the series. It's a Flash Gordon Celebration at InfiniteHollywood.com! Check out our exclusive review of the man himself, Flash - ah - savior of the universe! Flash - ah - he'll save every one of us! Infinite Hollywood: Flash Gordon Figure Review Thanks for reading.
  2. Can you tell us what your Ebay name is? Nothing personal mate, but I don't want you bidding on any items of mine. Sounds like you back out quite often.
  3. As others have said, yes, YOU are completely in the wrong. Maybe she flipped out, but she loses money if you don't pay for that auction. It's a lot of mumbo jumbo to get an item relisted when someone doesn't pay. Ebay isn't Walmart, you can't take something back for a better deal. When you bid, you are making a commitment to purchase it. Found one for cheaper a few days later? Tough titty. That's the nature of Ebay. Don't bid until you're comfortable with paying that price.
  4. I'm still dabbling in Re-Megos and Space 1999 so I posted up another review. Today it's Sandra Benes, one of the only females in this line. She's got a nice sculpt but I got to find out first hand about a lot of the problems that plagued these toys. Oddly enough despite some breakage it's a pretty workable figure. Infinite Hollywood: Space 1999 Sandra Benes Figure Review Thanks for reading.
  5. It's time we look into the future. The future Conan? Yes, the future... All the way into the year 1999! Actually we're looking back into the past, all the way to the year 2005, when these re-Mego figures were produced. These figures were made in the same style of the 1970's Space 1999 figures. This is what people in the 70's thought the future was going to be like. It may not be the real future, heck it's not even the real past, but this replica of David Kano is worth a look at if you're a fan of Mego, vintage sci-fi or good ways to blow a Lincoln. Infinite Hollywood: Space 1999: David Kano Figure Review Thanks for reading.
  6. On Black Friday I managed to pick this 3 pack up for the sale price of $11.99 and while that's still far too much to pay for this pack, it's better than the $15.99 it normally goes for. I decided to do a review but it's mostly on Blackhawk himself since everyone already owns dozens of the other figures. I try to highlight this pretty awesome figure, but no JLU review can be done without addressing some of the issues with this line. Check out the full review if you're interested in this figure or maybe pulling the trigger on this pack. Infinite Hollywood: Justice League Unlimited Blackhawk 3 Pack Review Thanks for reading.
  7. If you grew up int he 1970's Megos and Planet of the Apes went hand in hand as a way of life. However by the early 80's most of that era was all but forgotten and sucked up into the void filled by Star Wars and GI Joe. That said, POTA and Mego are still exciting a new to me in a lot of ways. Today we take a look back, all the way to the year 2008... When these reproductions of figures from the late 1970's were at their peak. Up dead ahead, a full review of EMCE's repro Ape Soldier! Infinite Hollywood: EMCE Toys Planet of the Apes - Ape Soldier Review Thanks for reading.
  8. I'd definitely say he's worth it.
  9. A 12 inch figure that I like? Made by Hasbro?! What is the world coming to? Today I'm looking at the new Rise of Cobra Destro figure and despite a handful of issues I think this figure can go pound for pound with some of the higher end figures in this scale. Check out the full review. Infinite Hollywood: 1/6 Scale Destro Review Thanks for reading.
  10. A 12 inch figure that I like? Made by Hasbro?! What is the world coming to? Today I'm looking at the new Rise of Cobra Destro figure and despite a handful of issues I think this figure can go pound for pound with some of the higher end figures in this scale. Check out the full review. [url="
  11. Although I didn't manage to get to about 6 reviews I had hoped to in this past week, we still covered a lot of ground in Japanese Monster Week. We wrap things up with Chogokin Gamera from the Gamera The Brave film. This guy has tons of detachable extra limbs, heads and a ton of articulation. Check it out if you're into giant mutant turtles. Infinite Hollywood: Chogokin Gamera Review Thanks for reading.
  12. Here's my epic tale of collecting Godzilla VHS tapes. It's fun if you're an old fart or even a mildly old fart. Plus I show off some of my old VHS tape artwork.

  14. Taking a brief look at three of my favorite Bandais tonight. Some from Japan, some available here in the states. Check em out if you're interested. Infinite Hollywood: Japanese Monster Week Thanks for reading if you do.
  15. Huzzah I finally found him! The SNAKE armor is one of my favorite classic Joe instruments of destruction and last night I finally found the new Joe vehicle set. For $10 at Target it's hard to beat this deal. The Neo Viper looks cool and the Serpent armor is everything you loved about the classic beast. I've got a full review up over at the site and I just had to post it even though this week I've been doing non-Joe reviews. This is one of my favorite new sets from the Rise of Cobra line. Please check it out. Infinite Hollywood: Viper Commando & Serpent Armor Review Thanks for reading.
  16. What could be more menacing than a 300 ft tall half bat/half pterodactyl monster? Dozens of them! TodayI'm taking a look at the Hyper Gyaos. Arch enemy of Gamera and able to reproduce asexually to cause havoc all over the land of the rising sun. Check it out! Infinite Hollywood: Hyper Gyaos Figure Review Thanks for reading.
  17. Our look at classic Japanese Monsters continues with Godzilla himself, but this isn't just any Godzilla it's the 1985 Imperial Godzilla! This is a classic toy at it's finest. He even appeared in nearly every episode of a TV show. Check out the full review and be sure to come back all week for more Kaiju goodness. Infinite Hollywood: Japanese Monster Week Thanks for reading.
  18. All week long it's Japanese Monster Week and I'm going to be looking at a ton of Japanese Monster figures, toys, movies and much more. Up first though is my latest Japanese Monster figure, the 1974 version of MechaGodzilla from Bandai Creations. This guy just hit the shelves a while back and can still be found at most Toys R Us locations. Be sure to check out the full review and later today I'll be checking back in with a review of a bootleg version of MechaGodzilla 1974 that I got decades ago and can not be found at your local TRU locations without usage of a TARDIS or Mr.Fusion. Infinite Hollywood: Japanese Monster Week - MechaGodzilla 1974 Thanks for reading.
  19. After a few days away from toy reviews and just 24 hours away from our big Japanese Monster Week, we're taking a look at the man who leads the evil empire, Darth Vader! This figure has been out for a while but I caught him at a second hand shop and decided it was a good time to update my Vader which I haven't done sine 1996! How does this Darth Vader stack up? Well you'll have to read to find out! Infinite Hollywood: Darth Vader Review Thanks for reading guys, I appreciate it.
  20. He's a fish! He's evil! He might just be a hitman with a samurai sword! It's the Blowfish from Torchwood and I just posted up a complete review of this guy over at Infinite Hollywood.com! Please check it out if you're a fan of offbeat toys or Torchwood and Doctor Who. Thanks for reading.
  21. DC Infinite Heroes continue to frustrate me. It's a line that I really want to love. I decided to set aside a lot of the issues I had with them, (sculpting, hands, lack of accessories) and pick up the Battle for Metropolis set because it's so cheap now. I figured with so much going for this set (thanks to my leniency) that this would get me into DCIH. But they still managed to come up a little short. All toys tend to be overpriced but there has to be some perceived value. I'm struggling to find that in a lot of these figures. Still, I gave the Battle for Metropolis set the full review and I give Mattel some credit here. Check it out if you'd like... Infinite Hollywood: Battle for Metropolis Review Thanks for reading.
  22. So today I'm checking in with something we can all relate to. That one crap candy we got as a kid that we just hated. I'm sure everyone had their own least favorites, but every kid I knew hated one particular candy. I think I've nailed it. Think you know what it is? So check it out: http://www.infinitehollywood.com/2009/10/worst-halloween-candy-of-all-time.html Is that your least favorite? Let me know on the blog! Respond with your least favorite Halloween candy of all time.
  23. Picked one of these guys up tonight and did a quick review. http://www.infinitehollywood.com/2009/10/trick-or-tater-mr-potato-head-review.html It's Mr. Potato Head and he's timeless. The ghost costume is pretty cool too. Thanks for reading.
  24. Who's the fastest Hedgehog in the galaxy? Sonic of course! Today I'm checking out the Black Knight version of everyone's favorite blue blur. Sonic comes with a sword, a gauntlet and mine came with an extra special hand! Find out about the fatal flaw of this figure and much more over at InfiniteHollywood.com! Infinite Hollywood: Sonic - Black Knight Figure Review Thanks for reading.
