  1. ML lovers can suck it. It's 3 3/4 time baby, and you roll with it or get run over. CanIgettanamen!
  2. Thanks to both of ya' for the encouraging words. Tom, your Green Beret and Bloody Baron mailed yesterday Priority. They'll be at your house before Christmas. Now go stand in a corner and celebrate quietly. Here is a quote for Agent Kringle's FC, courtesy of Talon over at my forum (and tweaked by me): ...from his beard to his boots, he was covered with ammo, like a disgruntled-drunk, big-fat yuletide Rambo, and he leered as he said, with a twinkle in his eye, "Merry Christmas ya' bastards, now yer' all gonna' die!"

  4. I have tried 409 before, and it will remove any dirt, oil or smoke residue just fine, but it will not remove yellowing due to age/heat damage. Sorry.
  5. Some fixes that make these more palatable for me: They all still need some tweaks or tightening up the paint, but for now they will do. Ace pilots the PTE F-22 Raptor now.
  6. You should really lay down for a while until that feeling passes. All of you.
  7. If he blows himself to Anarctica, I claim all remaining Fro Joes! Dibs!
  8. I went ahead and grabbed a bottle of 35% solution (it's in the mail) and will be testing this out. I've got several RAH figures to work with, and hopefully this will pan out and I can fix the yellowing on my 1987 Payload who mysteriously started turning last year even though he's never been exposed to anything to make him do that. It's my understanding that you don't mix it with anything, and that it works by sealing the parts in a glass jar and setting it in the direct sunlight so the it "activates" over a period of 12 to 48 hours. The ambient air temp also has to do with how fast it wo
  9. Sure, I could have, but I'm lazy like that. This was more to show the finished painted kit, and it's going to my business partner who likes to pose his so painting in the joints = bad.

    Where is Doc?

I got in 8 just a couple days ago, so don't sweat it. All of them have "non-emo" forearms to boot.
  12. Nice dios! I think the Zartan really sets it off. (heh-heh-heh!)
  13. Why have your last 10 posts all been decidedly negative? Did someone DO something to you?
  14. Here's the better pics of this kit on the proper body. I'll be adding paint to this shortly, so check back here for painted pics. Enjoy! A curious fact I noticed about both of the HM figures I have, is that both of them had the upper forearms on the wrong sides and because of this it limited posability. If your having a problem bending the arm up, this is most likely the cause and you'll see it if you look at the back side of that part of the arm (longer groove for the elbow ring).
  15. I prefer Sunny Delight's slightly filthy south of the border cousin, Tampico blended citrus drink.
  16. Looking at the movie costumes we've seen purely from a design standpoint, they are what the designers and producer wanted: sleek, futurist, and modern. While that may translate into a cool "look" for the screen and any resulting promotional stuff, it leaves any long time fan feeling "cold" or "off-put". I'd personally rather see something that focuses not at all on a "look" and more on "the feel". I know it's been said several times, and will be several more until the movie hits, but this is not our Joe. It's a Hollywood bastardized version of Joe. It's not made for us, although I'm 1
  17. Tom- Is the BBI version any more accurate to what might be conceivably used these days?
  18. Thanks Shane & Tom. These have been on the drawing board for a while, and it's nice to have them completed finally. That Bazooka/Mortar harness your looking at has a clasp in the back to be removed easily, and comes with the belt that is shown with it. The belt will have to have the buckle glued down flat to the belt to look right, and you also have the option of trimming off a small section of the belt and gluing it flat to the lower torso for a more sleek and fitted look. Those will be sold alone as a set in both black and brown for each of their respective characters along with c
  19. See what I'm babbling about here.
  20. It's weird, except for the haircut the original head had, I've always liked that Enemy Sniper headsculpt. Most people aren't "blue steel pretty" and this sculpt does a really nice job of conveying an ordinary looking (maybe even a little subpar) guy.
  21. Tom- I see your T-Rex in an F-14, and raise you a rabid grizzly bear wearing a camoflauge robotic shark cannon. 8-B: I'm going to hold you to that. You know what's even cooler, I can cast the parts in metallic silver now so no painting at all.
