  1. Sure do. It was hard not to splurge, but all I walked away with was Winston 12". Just got finished in fact. Soon the 12" Bustas will be complete on my shelf.
  2. There can't be too much. I doubt most of these will last very long. Any bets on Battle Cats sell out time?
  3. Tomorrow's Cyber Monday and Matty's putting up a lot of Ghostbustin' goodies for those of us who might've missed them. Anyone picking one up tomorrow? I'm going to finally try and snag a 12" Winston as funds were low when he first came out. Here's to my luck picking him up.
  4. Here's some love for Matty's Superman. I rarely collect 12" figs so Hot Toys, though awesome, have not gotten a dime of my money. However, as a huge GB fan and Superman fan, I am more than happy to pick there 12" line up. It's at a price I can afford and judging from how much I enjoy the GB figs, I know I'll love Superman.
  5. I picked up an unslimed Peter. Almost missed out on the sale. First time ever that I wasn't at my computer waiting by 11:30. Instead I was sitting around browsing the internet and saw an ad on GBFans. Got Greyskull, too, right before he sold out.
  6. Some would argue that most ALL Walmarts are not so hot.
  7. Personally I'm happy for a few lackluster waves. For a while my wallet was hurting with everyone I picked up. The fact that two or three from the wave is enough is a good feeling. Alan Scott is plain awesome. Now I need a JSA Flash and a place to display everyone.
  8. I would like to add to the list of sightings in the NC area. After four Walmarts (and getting some fried pickles at Zaxby's for a pregnant wife along for the ride) I found Alan Scott, Kamandi, Tyr, and Zatanna. Picked up GL and Zatanna. Alan Scott was the only figure from the wave that I 'had' to have. I'll still be on the lookout for Gold and Hourman (to further complete my JSA), but for now, I'm satisfied.
  9. They're out in NC, too. A poster on the Matty forums and on Actionfigureinsider.com forums has pics up. Being that I am from NC I rushed out to the pallets tonight only to be met by Barbies and a drunk woman who needed money. What she was doing in the toy aisle, I have no idea. Going out again tomorrow to see what I find.
  10. My wife watched this, asked if I wanted it for Christmas, and then said she's picking up two. She wants to play, too.
  11. When I saw the thread, memories of this delicious cereal flooded my brains. I also thought the subject would be about finding a new cereal in stores and got pretty excited about that. Oh, well.
  12. You know? I have a lot of hope for this getting made. We finally have movie figures and the fact that Ghostbusters 3 was part of the deal for Matty means it was a serious thought from Sony. We know that a script has been written and that Sony is actively pursuing this project. It looks like this may actually happen. As for the topic of this thread, I agree with you RockthePlank. I need something a little more official. But, I'm letting myself get a bit excited about this. Maybe I'll have a midnight showing coming up in the future that warrants me being decked out in Ghostbustin' attire.
  13. HECK NO YOU AREN'T WRONG! You wouldn't be out of line if you asked for a discount even if you did keep it. To be fair, the PKE didn't end up being too difficult to put together and it turned out to be pretty impressive, but I'm still having trouble getting the antenna to stay and his advice was to completely reassemble the thing or have it welded or soldered together. If the thing was going to be so week, shouldn't he have figured something out before sending it?
  14. The Kmart closest to me put Wave 13 out last Sunday. I was a bit dismayed yesterday when I hadn't found classic Starman and Jemm. Went out for dog food and decided to stop by...those were the only figs out waiting for me. What's amazing is that with the sale and a couple of coupons, I got the entire set, minus Golden Pharaoh and including both Starmen, for under $30. That's a very nice price.
  15. Must admit that the following post is more of a vent about my PKE meter than anything relevant to Matty's fine creation. I ordered a RGB PKE back in February and was told that, at the most, it would be ready by May. Here we are in October and that PKE meter arrived yesterday, just in time for Halloween. Should be a happy camper except that the $300 prop I bought came completely unassembled because he wanted it to get out in time. There's botched paint all over the resin shell and the antenna won't stay on because the epoxy didn't do the trick. Am I wrong to want to send it back for a refund?
  16. It would be hard for them to make a pretty accurate pack for less than $500. Considering buying an accurate working pack with lights and sound for less than $1500 right now is tough. Sales would have to be stellar for such a project to be considered, but who knows? Didn't think they could put together such a great looking and affordable PKE. In one of the Matty questions the answer had something along the lines of "...Wouldn't it be great if we sold the pack?" So I have hope.
  17. This is a no question buy for me, but I'm a prop builder and collector. Made some goggles, refurbished someone's busted up pack and recently (before the announcement of the PKE from Matty) ordered a Real Ghostbuster version PKE replica from a GBFans member. The price...$300, and that's about the same across the board for PKE's. So, one for $60 that has working motors that rise and drop the antennas...that's a friggin' steal. This'll be a gift for Christmas from my wife, though, so I won't see it until then. My hope is that next will be a trap and possibly a pack down the road. I already have permission to buy it if it happens.
  18. help out a fellow collector man, I need a Starman (both versions). I have an extra Jemm & SC Batman. also need a MM variant. thanks! I'll keep an eye out for Star Man and pick one up if I see him. They just had one modern version and he's in my collection at the moment .
  19. Had my SC Batman and Martian Manhunter price adjusted yesterday and found variants of Starman and Martian Manhunter, Raven, and OMAC today. Snagged Starman and OMAC and stashed the Raven to pick up when I get another coupon. So I've seen them in a couple of places in NC. I, too, am using the sale price and coupon as incentive to build Validus. The figs are nice bonus'.
  20. Wanted to let you know that Gboro TRU has 4 sets. Woulda picked one up if cash flow was a little better. They were the hats on version and the paint apps looked a lot better.
  21. Danville TRU was right on the money. They received 4 sets today and I left with one of them. Winston Salem and Greenseboro's TRU said they had nada. Happy hunting!
  22. I'm trying to be patient, but as a GB fan (and a fan of the GB 2 uniforms as evidenced by my photos) it's getting pretty touch. My wife's got a meeting in Winston Salem today and is going to stop by the TRU there and the TRU in Greenseboro on the way back. I'll also call Danville, VA TRU again to see if anything came on their truck like they said. Will report on my findings later for all of you fellow North Carolinians.
  23. Stopped by the TRU in Danville, VA and they told me that they should be on a truck coming in tonight.
  24. imestamp='1286953932' post='16678137']Just checked ebay and CA and OR are all i seen I've actually seen these reported in NY and Florida so they've been spotted on the East coast.
  25. I'm down with getting some aid to everyone on this set. I'll be keeping an eye out for these, so let me know if you want me to pick him up. Meanwhile, I'm up for just seeing where these are sighted so I know when they're close.
