  1. I can get behind some kinds of mini-figures, but I suppose I'm pretty picky when it comes to them. I love art and animation and stylized takes on characters I like, but these sort of miss the mark. Not entirely so, but just enough that with the high pricing it's a pass.
  2. The price is too high to begin with, and MattyCollector shipping is pretty rough. And like you said, mcm, the scale change only compounds it all.
  3. No problem, mcm. The Faker head comes with this figure? I guess that's probably good. I like all the NA stuff, but Skeletor is definitely a little bit disappointing. Not terrible, but he doesn't wow me like I'd hoped.
  4. Just so you know, I was talking about Neitlich and his "reasons" (that is, excuses/truth-stretching) and not you. I think attention needs to be called to that kind of stuff, even if it doesn't lead to change.
  5. I like the photostory, man! I chuckled more than once. And what's the story on Moker? I saw the art you posted of him. Your custom is spot-on. So many awesome customs. Smash is freakin' sweet.
  6. Scorpia looks like one of the best female figures in the line based on all the pictures I've seen.
  7. I haven't posted in a while, but it's nice to see some things never change.
  8. Hey, man! I just saw your message. I've been slacking on the posting. ;) But yeah, I still have my collection. I haven't gotten rid of anything, but I haven't really added much, either. I did buy a few figures on eBay a few months back because they were good deals. What about you? You still collecting?

  9. I don't like Seth Green very much as an actor, but I'll give him a chance as Leonardo. He wouldn't be my first pick, but maybe he can do better than the voices he does for Family Guy and Robot Chicken. Jason Biggs did a good job, and it's too bad he's leaving.
  10. Awesome. I'm late to the party because I'm just now discovering that web site. That's some really awesome stuff with some really awesome prices.
  11. Well, eight figures (assuming the first and second wave at least are guaranteed) is a pretty good start. Depending on the character selection, you could have a fairly "complete" animated Batman collection in two waves (though I don't know if they'll put so many big guns into the first two waves), so I could see two waves alone being worth the price. This line has so much potential it's scary... That explains it. Thanks, mate.
  12. I like New Adventures, and these are still freakin' sweet, but I'm a little surprised they're going with NA. Isn't the Catwoman figure going to be the one from Batman The Animated Series or did I imagine that? But Batman, Two-Face, and Mr. Freeze are all NA? It's early and the line is just starting, but I'm curious about the heavy NA influence so far.
  13. So these are even smaller than the SDCC He-Man and Skeletor mini-figures? @hmmm@
  14. Yeah, but the Alt-Head being more Snake-inspired would have been neat. "Was oncssssse a maaaaan!" I'm quoting this cause I can't "like" it. +1 for you
  15. Same here. It still pains me that Mattel didn't include a 200X head for Snout Spout. I was looking forward to him from the start of the line, and I was sure the Horsemen would update him at least a little if they didn't include a second head. But no dice. He'd be one of my favorite figures in the line if they had. Totally wasted figure/opportunity. But thank goodness for the staction, which showed us all Snout Spout could be cool and taken seriously (or as seriously as any other MOTU character ).
  16. Who else?... Did you see Scorpia's real name?... I didn't. And now I'm afraid to look... I have too but some are so bad that you just have to mention it anyway. Now this is a great idea and makes me lament a(nother) wasted opportunity.
  17. It's a cool figure, but because of the hype of the Unnamed One and how important/powerful the character is supposed to be, it's underwhelming. It's too bad they didn't call this character something else and make the Unnamed One a different character. But I have to say that I'd much rather have a Trollan be the Unnamed One than some Snake Man.
  18. Goat Man's real name is Klacky? Seriously? Why not call him Billy instead? Like Billy Goat? Get it? @hmmm@ Who comes up with this stuff? Even Klack would have been passable. Sheesh. By the way, sweet figure. I'm going to try to get him.
  19. Is it his voice that you find annoying? Because I feel that way about Neitlich... except listening to Scott and watching him on video is doubly difficult for me. Dan I can tolerate though. I don't mind the sound of his voice. And the parts of his reviews where he's not reading from a script are pretty much fine. But his delivery needs some work. It reminds me of students in journalism school who want to be on-camera personalities so badly but just don't have the ability to do it well. But more power to him for doing it. He doesn't need to please me anyway. Certainly he's improved over the years, and I'm glad he does it because he's pretty thorough and reviews a lot of different stuff.
  20. Good review, barbecue. Your link to your review you posted here seems to be broken, but I navigated to it. I had high hopes for her from the start cause she's the biggest gun in PoP after She-Ra, Adora, and Bow. I don't have her (yet), but something seems a tad underwhelming or disappointing about her. I think it's her face sculpt; she looks like a celebrity who's had too much facial reconstruction/plastic surgery. It's like an impostor wearing Glimmer's clothes. :/
