So freakin' sweet. I don't have any vehicles or beasts from MOTUC, but I might need to get the Talon Fighter. The only reason I'll pass on Snake Mountain, if I don't break down and buy it, is the price. It's outstanding.

I hope they tone down Lion-O's eyebrows. They're a little too accentuated for my tastes and it makes him look odd. Otherwise I agree that this is the best thing to come out of SDCC along with maybe Snake Mountain.
-
I'm looking forward to these. They should be awesome as long as they're not too unfaithful to the source material (any of the source material).
-
Never thought I'd see something like that. Awesome!
-
An entire year before the first figure? That's a bummer. I'm looking forward to these, but I haven't forgotten how slow-going it was early on with MOTUC at only one figure a month. What a total drag that was.
-
Freakin' sweeeet.

Pretty cool but a little pricey for me. If we were shown more or given the idea there would be plenty of these (like all the big guns), I'd be all over it.
-
Same here. I can't believe it's taken this long to get him but at least he's on the way.

Agreed. This is a great looking figure and a good example of what MOTUC has been, used to be, sometimes isn't but should be about. We've received some really great figures, but some missed the mark unfortunately.
The Horsemen have really brought it with all the New Adventures figures.

Great. It might not work for a real cape , but the fact it holds its shape makes the figure look that much better.
-
Nice. What did you make the cape out of?

I don't have much insight but I absolutely agree with you. Very frustrating. My (possibly expensive) suggestion would be to track down multiples of the same figure and piece together one that's not yellowed. Maybe they'll yellow anyway eventually, but if a 30 year-old figure has parts that haven't yellowed yet, it seems you have better odds of it not happening at all.

Those are the two main reasons I want that 200X head pak. Snout Spout was such a massive disappointment for me when they debuted him with the vintage-clone head and no nods to the staction.

Like others, I'm still here but not as often as I used to or would like (when the discussion was more lively). I check the main page every day, but the forums I check a little less. I still like it here.

Tuvar and Bhadra would have been awesome.
I like that these are full-size figures, unlike the vintage ones. I'm a little surprised but I'm okay with the choice.

The fan weapon was apparently Val Staples idea
Ugh.

I want this too... just too lazy to pre-order it. LOL!
I will get this...eventually.
I'll be getting this, but I never preorder anything really. You can usually find things cheaper down the line anyway (between sales and eBay and conventions), so I don't usually see a reason to.

He doesn't come apart at all, right?
If not, it's a bit surprising there's no attempt at or at least an homage to his vintage action feature.
I'm okay with it for the reasons I listed above, but it's definitely surprising to me based on how the rest of the line has gone.

This is really awesome. Seems like a no-brainer that should have come out long ago, but I'm glad it's finally on the way. I can wait till November.

I know it goes against what/who he is, but without regular arms, I just can't get past how "ridiculous"/ gimmicky Sssqueeze is. I was hoping his arms would be swappable with a regular pair. And he's another one with lots of new sculpting, though he's more worthy (again, in my opinion ) than Blast Attak. Maybe now that the line is on the way out they could devote more money to each new debut.

Just seems like she needs more paint apps. Looks like a bootleg from China.
Great observation and the right way to put it. She looked odd to me with all the solid, different colors. The hair really needs some additional paint.
-
So much new sculpting wasted (in my opinion, that is) on a ho-hum figure. I would have liked to see new parts go to some other figure(s). I never cared much for Blast Attak as a kid, and I still haven't warmed to him now. This MOTUC version is a little too much of a vintage clone, though I realize there's no other version to compare him to.

I like that Thundercats won't be as many must-have figures/characters as MOTUC. I'd be looking at 20 or fewer figures as opposed to all that MOTU had to offer that I'd want.
