  1. So it's a tribute to animated He-Man. And I just realized the box/package is supposed to look like an old television. Pretty slick.
  2. That's the Power Sword from Revelation on the packaging, and the figures appear to have cel shading for their deco. Maybe this is a SDCC or Mattel Creations exclusive.
  3. I preordered all five and got an extra Faker, too. I've really slowed down over the years with MOTUC, but every now and then the urge hits, and these were way too cool to pass up. I'm torn with what to do with these. My preference is usually to open my figures, but I also have the 8-back characters and a few favorites MOC. These will feature resealable packaging, which is really neat, so that gives me options.
  4. Man, this is incredible. Very impressive and entertaining, too.
  5. Great paint work on this one.
  6. Great. It might not work for a real cape , but the fact it holds its shape makes the figure look that much better.
  7. Nice. What did you make the cape out of?
  8. I don't have much insight but I absolutely agree with you. Very frustrating. My (possibly expensive) suggestion would be to track down multiples of the same figure and piece together one that's not yellowed. Maybe they'll yellow anyway eventually, but if a 30 year-old figure has parts that haven't yellowed yet, it seems you have better odds of it not happening at all.
  9. Like others, I'm still here but not as often as I used to or would like (when the discussion was more lively). I check the main page every day, but the forums I check a little less. I still like it here.
  10. This is really awesome. Great job!
  11. I agree with you, Rockzilla. Unfortunately the US has turned pro-monopoly over the last decade or two, and this will probably happen anyway. And it's always hidden under the guise of "better for the consumer" because of promises to not raise rates for a year or some other amount of ridiculousness. The further we go in the opposite direction, the harder it is to come back. But as you say, competition keeps prices in check. That's always been the case. I'm glad this failed.
  12. What was the name of the man-wolf (Bruce's friend) from Batman: The Animated Series? I think he's a necessary inclusion. That's one of my earliest memories of that show even though I watched every episode from the time it first aired. We also need the Phantasm, but larger and more threatening than the figure from the original BTAS line.
  13. I'm just now seeing it but the last one is great.
  14. Its good that you received it. And I'm glad that you're enjoying the figure, bro.
