  1. I'd like to see the scene were TOS 1701 dumps all of it's human waste out of a valve somewhere and the ensuing smokey and the bandit II style sh-t bombing occurs.
  2. True, but the issue of Snake Eyes being a "gimp" is still relevant to the topic. I can find a LOT of "gimpish" features on these action figures, from the very beginning to current editions. Every figure they produce can have a minor or major flaw, from uneven unequal appendages, short necks, short arms, clinched fists, twisted ankles, small hips, pinheads, melon heads, crossed eyes, bug eyes etc.. They're all discombobulated freaks of nature to some degree. Wouldn't bother me too much, he's just a figure.
  3. I don't really have to use the points, i'm extremely picky about what I buy from them because it gets expensive after a while. The only statues I have from sideshow are the Premium Format Lara Croft exclusive and Slave Leia exclusive.
  4. I've got a few things made by them, like the Exclusive Stormtrooper and Robocop 3 with flightpack.
  5. Looks like the same shade of red but no one pulled a switch, this is a packaged figure. actually those figures would be very easy to repack. just a little tape holding them together. Wouldnt even have to undo many twist ties to get the pants off and switch them out. Id be willing to bet it was just the old switcharoo They aren't even worth repacking them though, these are cheap assed 12" figures. They aren't the better quality Valor vs Venom 12 inchers from a couple of years ago which I do have that version os CC as well.
  6. Looks like the same shade of red but no one pulled a switch, this is a packaged figure.
  7. Ok enough gimp stuff already, we shot down the person who tried to pretend to be offended.
  8. Thats interesting, wonder if someone did a swap on the pants. They wouldnt happen to be the pants from Destro would they? No these are plain red pants, not camouflaged like Destro's pants.
  9. Which SDCC Cobra Commander is more sought after, Blue or Black suit?
  10. Has anyone seen a variant of the "cheap" 12 CC that's out now, I found one with red pants this past friday but none are on ebay. I'm guessing nobody cares about these figures much.
  11. I beg to differ. Copied from Wiktionary - (slang, derogatory) A name-calling word, generally for a person who is perceived to be inept, deficient or peculiar (BDSM) A sexual submissive, almost always male, dressed generally in a black leather suit. See Gimp (sadomasochism) in Wikipedia. I'll shoot that down. I copied this from dictionary.com gimp 3  /gɪmp/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [gimp] Show IPA Slang. –noun 1. a limp. 2. a person who limps; lame person.
  12. Some online dipshit called me a gimp while he was talking trash to me, the insult itself made no sense what so ever since I don't limp or anything. Gimp is not a derogatory term, it just means someone who walks with a limp.
  13. I kept getting Scotty last week until I told they guy at the counter that I had enough. So he found a Kirk in the back. Maybe this will work for you. It probably will, I still stand by my previous statement that this new ship isn't the real enterprise.
  14. No. Jack Davenport played Norrington, he then went on to be in that TV series 'Swingtown' about the 70's. Ben Cross played Sarek. He was in Chariots of Fire many many years ago, and then he played Barnabas Collins in the remake of Dark Shadows back in the 90's. i would have to imdb him to see what else he's done. He also played Captain Nemo in a 1990's version of 20,000 Leagues. He played the mad bomber in the Pierce Brosnan movie Live Wire and a pilot who helped Lauren Holly land the plane in the first turbulence movie.
  15. The operative word is could've, the realistic word is didn't. They blew it. I'm going to buy many of the repaints of the HW ships that's just stupid. I might get the Saratoga since it's a Miranda class ship that isn't tainted by a nutcase or destroyed. Mattel needs to hurry the f up and release the uss uglyprise and klingon already. That'll be the last version of the new ship I'll buy and then game over for that ship.
  16. Original Enterprise > 2009 Enterprise nuff said.
  17. That's one of the Furuta ships. They came out in Japan (I think a couple years ago?). They're what ThisGuy and I were discussing a few posts up. Very nice little plastic models, with a LOT of the "lesser" ships and "non-Starfleet" ships represented across the 3 series they've released so far. As noted above, you can get them off of Ebay for pretty reasonable prices, at least for series 2 and 3. Series 1 is a little harder to track down (and more expensive) but still reasonably affordable. Generally somewhere between Micro Machines and Johnny Lightning in terms of size (They range from about 3 to 5 inches long). Just do a search for "Furuta Star Trek" on Ebay and you'll probably get a lot of hits. A little harder to find? Try ALOT harder to find and ALOT more expensive, series 1 goes for about $100 on ebay. Most of the scalpers who sell the chase ships like the Warbird want north of $20 for each ship they sell. If mattel makes the Warbird I'll be happy, then I don't give a rat's ass about the furuta version.
  18. I can't get the Enterprise it seems everyone is buying that thing up left and right. I officially stop trying tonight, I'm done trying to get that terd. It's not even the real Enterprise anyway.
  19. I wish I knew where to get the Furuta Romulan for cheap.
  20. I also noticed that the movies like using photon torpedoes more than phasers. I just watch Tobias Richter's fedcon movie and the Enterprise kept using torps against the enemy fighters instead of zapping their asses with phasers.
