  1. Yeah, like an idiot, I still keep a small glimmer of hope that we might see these somewhere. @grumpy@ Just release the Starfire and Raven, guys... that's all I'm asking!
  2. These were originally supposed to be released in like June. Not looking good that we will see them considering how most places don't have any new Teen Titans stuff anymore. @grumpy@ The XBox version of Teen Titans hasn't come out yet either which also gives me little hope of ever seeing it. Man, sucks so bad! I wanted the Deluxe Starfire and Raven figures pretty bad!
  3. Meh, after seeing the Azrael figure yesterday at Wal-Mart, I'd say that kid did you a favor! With that elongated torso, he just looks "off" IMO. I didn't even bother to pick him up. I went with Freeze and Bats and left the Azrael and RobinS (note the plural....) sitting there on the peg. Man, if they would have only redone the Robin's articulation! @grumpy@ I'd have rather had a redone Robin than a redone Freeze!
  4. Wow! That rules man! And I agree about the mini figures. I'd rather have another human soldier instead of another pink/orange/purple/etc spartan or elite.
  5. Scale, scale, scale... Honestly, I don't understand why this is the big let down of this figure. Isn't he about 5 inches? Isn't Power Rangers one of the greatest selling action figure licenses of all time and is done in the 5" scale? Batman Begins and Superman Returns movies figures are also 5" scale. So, there ARE other figure lines done in this scale and they are ones that have sold a lot of figures. They just aren't the ones that most of us who happen to frequent this particular forum collect. Tons of other forums out there for those figure lines that would probably much prefer Dante in this 5" scale.
  6. Whoa! Thanks for the head's up man! That RULES! Can't wait to get my shipment! #US1#
  7. Just curious, but how sturdy is the Cloud figure? A lot of imports I have found tend to be more fragile. Is he a sturdy figure? The bike looks sturdy enough, but, the figure itself looks like it could go either way...
  8. The girl I asked yesterday punched in the numbers and then she said that they would not be hitting the shelves until the end of the month. @grumpy@ She wouldn't go get any for me. I was thinking of going back and trying again with a different employee....
  9. The new wave was at my Wal-Mart last night, too in Utah. I picked up the Long Range figure, but left CC and armored Snake Eyes but will probably pick them up another day. The one thing I REALLY like about these toys is the sturdy, quality feel to them.
  10. I had gotten my Robin from Amazon.com before Christmas. I honestly haven't had a single problem with him yet. Nothing has popped out and all the joints worked fine. There is one semi-stuck elbow joint, but, it's because of the way the pin was placed. All others who ordered theirs from Amazon.com have had the same left elbow problem it seems. Other than that, it's flawless. No real paint slop nor any paint rub. Sorry to hear about the lousy Robins you guys have gotten! That sucks! @grumpy@
  11. Is it just me or does Storm Shadow look like he's hunting Ninja Turtles......? @hmmm@
  12. The paint on Leon is terrible! He wears blue jean cargos in the game with some brownish hiking shoes. The figure has black pants and black shoes? I also don't think they made his hair sculpt as well as it could have been, although that might have been tough considering some things like that are difficult to render in 3D. I'm normally pretty forgiving of things like this, but, the lack of articulation makes me a bit more critical than normal. Less than perfect sculpts and poor paint jobs can be made up for with good articulation. These figures seem to be less than stellar in all those areas.
  13. I'm really digging the mystic fury turtles so far! I like the knee joints and most especially the head sculpts! (Although Mike is a little dory looking...)
  14. I'm trying to figure out why I would even want 5 astromech droids to begin with... @hmmm@ Let alone 10 of them!!! (both sets)
  15. Maul had them beat. His over confidence was Obi-Wan's luck. Had Darth Maul simply killed Obi-Wan instead of showing off, he would have been a major threat to the other Jedi due to his level of skill. (Remember from ROTS how Obi-Wan beat Anakin by having the high ground? Maul had the high ground and was only beaten due to his own over confidence in his skills.) Darth Sidious didn't need a politically savvy apprentice since Sidious was the one orchastrating the whole thing from the beginning. The apprentice merely followed orders. Sidious' purpose in revealing themselves to the Jedi was to give the Republic the need to create a military force (the clone army). Having Sith (which Darth Tyranus later became) leading the Seperatist movement gave reason for the Jedi to get involved in the war thereby spreading their Jedi forces across the galaxy. By spreading them so thin, this weakened the Jedi which gave Sidious the advantage he needed. Remember, Sidious had control of both sides of the war, using it to crush and weaken the resolve of both sides. When war rages too long, the resolve of the people to continue fighting eventually starts to weaken. (Look at the war in Iraq and how many people who originally supported it are now getting tired of it after a couple of years...) Once the people started losing their resolve to fight in the republic/seperatist war, they started looking towards someone who could end the war and bring peace to the galaxy. Darth Sidious successfully placed himself in a position of power by setting himself to be a savior who brought peace and order to the galaxy.
