  1. Hello. I'm more of a G.I.Joe collector than a Marvel collector but I do pick up the odd Marvel Universe figure here and there. I have an MOC black & silver X-Force Wolverine (#006). I'm looking to trade it for Astonishing Wolverine (#025), which does not have to be MOC. I'd also be interested in purchasing an Astonishing Wolverine figure for somewhere around $15 shipped. Thanks!

  2. Except for the Black Ring which I got for free, got the rest with the comics... basically paid 3.99+tax for each and all I read was the Blackest Night series and Justice League :(

I highly recommend checking out Doom Patrol #4! (Of course, I'm a bit biased! ;)) A non-fan might not pick up on whats so cool about this issue (the end) but it's a really interesting concept!

  3. We have another Q&A session coming up for Hasbro's G.I.Joe brand team members. We get to send in 3 questions so if you would like to post a question for us to possibly use, post it in this thread. We have to send the questions in by noon on January 4, 2010 so I am taking questions till January 3. Answers will be returned on or around Friday, January 15th which we will then post on the TNI news section.

What is the possibility of a mass market rerelease of a less detailed or toned-down version of the SDCC '09 James McCullen XXIV figure?

It's a shame to not have a movie accurate version of the character readily available to the public. Sure the SDCC set is reasonably priced and available online, but it is FAR too nicely packaged to open up Destro XXIV and put him along side my other ROC figures! I'd happily shell out $6 or $7 for a lesser version of the same figure in regular ROC or POC packaging to open up and display. I'm sure many other collectors feel the same way! Thanks.

  4. I know the series just started, but there is alot to see in those short clips that HissCommander has been feeding us. (BTW, thanks for that. ;) )

What are some of your favorite things you like about G.I. Joe Resolute so far?

I for one love the fact that Joe HQ is on a slightly futuristic, state of the art aircraft carrier. The U.S.S. Flagg is perfect for what G.I.Joe always needed. Now I REALLY want Hasbro to re-issue that 7 foot monster. @lol@

The only dislike I HAD was the short clips, but they seem to be coming at us several times a week. Thanks to other peoples' hard work, I can just watch them as they pop out on the net. @smilepunch@

Dude, 6:00pm (eastern time) on www.adultswim.com all week! 2 new ones a day. The last 10 mins. won't premiere until Saturday at midnight on cable, but afterward the whole thing is supposed to be available on www.adultswim.com. As far as dislikes, I was a fan of the comics so I don't know how I feel about SPOILER ALERT: Storm Shadow being firmly established as a bad guy. It IS more believable and makes more sense that way though. I hate to say it.

I'm a little disappointed with Flint's voice. It seems like the actor is trying to sound like the the old Flint voice from the 80s. It's not working. All in all it's a pretty good revamp. They're doing some interesting things with it. I don't really care for the complete abscence of Hawk, but with this particular version of Duke, it's not as noticable. I hope they make a full series!

  5. Hi. George Lucas AND his family have been immortalized in plastic as part of the Star Wars line. A while ago, Hasbro gave us an ad that featured a Larry Hama file card. We should have a Larry Hama G.I.Joe figure! I know Tunnel Rat is sculpted to resemble him, but let's get on Hasbro to give us an actual Larry figure. Giving this idea extra merit is the fact that Larry was in the Army at one time. I don't think George Lucas ever flew an X-Wing!

The other figure I'd like to see (and there's GOTTA be fans of the old comic OR the new Origins comic who'd like to see this), is Snake-Eyes with the bandaged or gauze-wrapped head and sunglasses, OR without the mask showing his scars!

Anybody wanna join me in petitioning Hasbro to get these made?
