  1. http://www.offthecard.com/visualguides/lot...otr/index.shtml A complete check-list, and nearly complete multi-angled Visual Guide for all ToyBiz and AOME products.
  2. Never, and I repeat NEVER believe Amazon: TMNT Collection on Amazon
  3. All you can see is the bandana, and that could belong to any of them...if you want it to be Leo, let it be Leo!
  4. Our staff member in the Philippines picked these up a few days ago.
  5. I'm probably not going to have a popular opinion here, but...oh well: It's America, and we should have the right to say what we want about what we buy...but at the same time, how many of us have e-mailed ToyBiz over such awesome figures as the Crossbow Uruk, Sauron, Easterling, Boromir/Lurtz, Goblin Armor hobbits, Gimli from the Uruk-two pack, etc? Probably not many. All ToyBiz ever hears out of us is an endless line of bi*ching...and eventually, I woudn't blame them at all if they dropped the line just to be rid of us. Petitions go nearly no where in the toy business (where's my Balrog?), and at this late stage in the game, they're not about ready to resculpt, repaint, reproduce, and repackage new Eowyn or Pippin heads... Armored Eowyn looks very much like a woman, though not completely like Miranda Otto...it took them a half dozen attempts to get a decent Viggo sculpt, and it's still a little off, so I'm at least PLEASED with a decent sculpt on what will undoubtly be our last Eowyn figure. As best as I can tell with the Eowyn figures, it's not the actual sculpt that's off, but the paint application...she has no definition in her face, that could be achieved with a very light wash. I don't have the Edoras version yet to compare to, though. Plus, Otto's face is softer and rounder than the figures'. As for Prologue Bilbo, don't let the pictures lead you wrong. It's a TERRIFIC likeness when you look at it in person...the only downfall to the figure is his left hand (and the availability of course. Check Suncoasts).
  6. Yes, very confirmed. I guess that explains where we got our copies of the pictures to post, though my "source" cropped them a little. Oh well.
  7. 193, including an episode shown only in Europe, and Episode #76 was never even created...so the very last episode is actually #194, but that's a numbering snafu.
  8. The synopsis has been on the official site for a while... S P O I L E R S The TMNT and gang escape out the back/emergency door, just like the movie.
  9. I picked up a set at Suncoast a couple of months ago. They're fun to play with for a while ,but I haven't even opened three of mine yet. I should have just picked my favorite turtle and bought one, since they're essentially all the mold.
  10. Things like the dates could be a little off...remember, though, Amazon says all 4 ROTK waves will ship on August 10th, which is a comparable number (I don't have the list handy, but at around 4-5 figs per wave, it's close to 20). Even when ToyBiz sent a press-release to all the sites last week, it still said the Uruk Crossbowman would be out now, and it's obviously not. ToyBiz is so out of touch with their own products, I'm not holding my breath for a lot of these. Sounds like a fanboy's dreams. King of the Dead? Too good to be true. In theory, it could happen. We were getting FOTR figures up until May/June of 2002, and if ToyBiz is going to put a legitimate effort into carrying the whole Trilogy, July isn't out of range. It will all depend on sales.
  11. I agree completely...but at the same time, Treebeard looks pretty damn cool sitting on my desk, something I couldn't do with the full-sized one. Plus, now I have to buy the Merry/Pippin/Boromir AOME set. With ToyBIz's anti-AOME approach, I'm surprised this happened at all. I just wonder how much money changed hands behind the scenes.
  12. It's in perfect scale with the AOME line, and was made to be. Here's a quote from our guy at SDCC:
  13. Nine figures... It should be noted that not all of the figures come with cloaks. Off the top of my head, I don't think Legolas, Gimli, or Aragorn do. And we already have a plastic-cloaked Merry and Pippin. Frodo and Sam's cloaks look like the ones from the boat set.
  14. There's no way that'll work with Yahoo!'s storage limits.
  15. There's supposed to be a second wave coming with Shredder, Splinter, April, Casey, Foot, and Baxter.
  16. psst... http://www.filmhobbit.com/forum/showthread...s=&postid=35416
  17. Nothing wrong with him liking them at all. I'm sure not everyone is into TMNT. Rik...I thought for sure you know who I was. Does this ring familiar? "Who's idea was it to give a knife to the crazy guy, anyway?!"
  18. 18 checking in, so I wouldn't be too worried. I've got friends in their 30's collecting toys. The Yu-Gi-Oh part...that would have me a little concerned.
  19. I drove 500 miles round trip for my Sauron...they never clogged the shelves over here. I only recently saw my second Sauron, and it was the new version with the darker paint. For some reason, I seem to be on an anti-AOME kick lately, so I'll keep it up. Everyone remember the little figures that used to come with Micro Machines? Imagine if you enlarged those to ~4 inches, and that's AOME. I REALLY wanted the Aragorn and Gollum offerings from this line, but after seeing the Aragorn/Brego set, and looking at the Rohan set up close, these things are poorly made pieces of garbage. I'd expect better quality (if not size) out of a 25 ¢ vending machine. ToyBiz does lack variety and their future doesn't look so great, but at least all of the figures have two eyes. I can't remember for sure how much they were, because they didn't make much of a good impression on me, but there's no way I'm going to spend $7 (?) for an unarticulated, disproportioned character stuck on a stand or horse.
  20. Hate to break this to you, but all 8 of those were mini's (Garbageman and Foot Helicopter included). Playmates is putting out a Hot Wheels type race track for the little TMNT vehicles, that they can be launched from. I'm not entirely sure how some of the figures are going to "race," though, unless they snap on to a base, like the Nanotech Monster and Casey's bike.
  21. For loose, multi-angled pics, try http://www.offthecard.com . To be completely fair, we ARE missing alot of stuff right now, but we update our TMNT daily. And we're up to date on the current line, up to the Xtreme Sports Turtles.
  22. That's a character out of the up-coming video game, just like that robot, and the "giant mouser" seen on the right is.
  23. He's a character out of the new video game, as we reported last weekend. There's a placard behind the figure saying they'll be three Video Game figures, including a giant mouser with red detailing. Larry http://www.offthecard.com
  24. Looks like the Sharku will have sword-slashing action, and the Warg will have an opening mouth, instead of galloping action.
