  1. I just saw these today while picking up my DCUC GL series 1 Kyle to finish Arkillo. I like the Scarecrow and Mera and may end up picking them up next pay check.
  2. And if it is Blackest Night themes, there are so many corps members they could make.. They would not even have to put any Green Lanterns in it.. It could be any one representative from the following corps (pick 5 different characters) Saint Walker (Blue) Indigo-1 (Indigo) Atrocitus (Red) Larfleeze (Orange) Lyssa Drak (Sinestro Corps) Fatality (Violet) Just a thought...
  3. Yes, that is movie Shockwave. Meh..
  4. Well, you can't please everyone. As for us long suffering Superfriends fans this is a dream long over do. I personally want to thank Mattel for giving us the characters many have us have been waiting for since The Superfriends debut. "Long Suffering?" No, not really. Superfriends (and particularly Super Powers) fans have gotten plenty of love in the DCUC line. I don't object to Mattel making a wave that's Superfriends-heavy, but I won't be buying much, if any of it. There are others that are going to feel the same way. Much the same as the DCUC Wave 17 "Deputy Lantern" wave...there are people turned off by the concept (though at least that wave has a critical build-a-figure attached to it). All of this could lead to some heavy pegwarming for both waves since the collector base is divided (unless both waves are exclusives of some kind). I think these "Themed" waves are a big risk by Mattel on a line that's already barely managing to stay on shelves as it stands. Target and TRU are clogged with refresh-case pegwarmers and Wal-Mart doesn't even carry the line in half (or more) of their stores now. With the price increases, I have to fully admit that I'm going to be surprised if DCUC survives into 2012. Or at least survives as a mass-retail line. I could see them shifting to a Masters of the Universe Classics style model for DC figures pretty easily. I grew up with and loved the Superfriends, don't get me wrong.
  5. Agreed. I was not a fan of the US toon, however I am a fan of the toys.
  6. If this is true then this would be the first wave that I completely passed on..
  7. I nabbed Low and Maash from Wal Mart today. I have seen them so far at TRU and Wally World.
  8. "You're my tender viddle now #@$#@!!" Good stuff, thanks for posting!

  10. GAH... My wallet is still reeling from Wave 14 and the GL 5 pack...
  11. I found a whole set of wave 14 at a local Wal Mart earlier today but only bought Zatanna and Gold.. w00t!
  12. I cannot wait for these to hit retail!!!!!
  13. I nabbed a MM, Raven and SC BM the other day from K-Mart...
  14. Mattel has said on a couple of occasions that the SC Batman is not based on the previous comic appearances, but that they 'cannot say anything more at this time'. They seem to be hinting that this deco/design will appear in the comics at a future date. Maybe it will have something to do with the eventual return of Bruce Wayne?
  15. Down here eclipso's and Foragers are clogging the pegs.. A couple PG's here and there.. But not many of them.
  16. link takes me to the tf site edit ... ok wow who the hell bumped up this one @loll@ Looks at post right above yours.... @smilepunch@
  17. I look forward to picking her up when she comes out!
  18. Well, Guy was a former linebacker...
  19. I have been enjoying it and am really intrigued to see how things will eventually turn out.
  20. Yeah, I agree with this.. $15 is a lot in this economy to expect people to "army build"..
  21. He is entitled to his opinions. I also feel that a BAF DD is on the horizon.. I can also see the Arkillo retool from the Kilowog mold.
  22. She looks great like that.. I would not mind nabbing one one day if possible.
