Dear lord I hope so. I'm royally looking foward to this line, since the Marvel Legends is really what got me back buying toys in a big way. Now I'm to the point where I only buy stuff if; A: It just looks neat and I want it, or B: It looks neat _AND_ it'll look good and in scale with my ML figures, or the best of all, C: It looks neat, will look good and be in scale with ML, _AND_ has almost if not the same amount of articulation as the ML figures. (kinda like the SOTA Street Fighter figures, but geez they cost alot.) So I'm still being optimistic about this line, just the pictures don't do the toys justice (hah. bad pun), and those are probably not the finished product either. *crosses fingers and hopes*

Ok, I am a fan of both DC and Marvel, but it seems every time Mattel makes a new "DC" toy line, it falls short. Sure, they're "trying" to compete with Marvel Legends figures, but for some odd reason, they advertise they have ultimate posability or some junk like that, and it looks to me like a couple of those figures are still the same crap from the waist down we've seen since the what, 80's?? It doesn't look like Bizarro has anything other than a classic T joint. As for Darkseid, Luthor, and Supergirl (even though her head looks WAY too big for her body) unless someone takes some "upskirt" pictures, they could very well have T-joints as well. As for Mr Freeze, you know good and well Mattel is going to be whoring out their old figures, just repainted.

I post a link to one, but I'm eating and watching my kids. Google the terms "future imperfect" and "trophy room"

Walmart wave for pre order at Wizardworld.com!
Flying_Infant replied to firestongue's topic in Marvel
You can't speculate it'll be clogging shelves. In Augusta, Georgia, I checked every Wal-Mart around for the last wave (with Juggy, Phoenix, Deadpool, etc) and never once saw it. This isn't really a "Wal-Mart Exclusive", its a "Wal-Mart in large cities" exclusive. -
Huge Possible Spoiler For The RAW/WrestleMania Tournament!

While I can understand the *Spoiler* tag....who honestly didn't see this one coming? -

Looks ta me like Hyrdoman stole something from Mr. Stark... -
Couldn't that be considered fraud, or attempted fruad?? I'd of got him arrested...but I'm also kinda evil.

Anyone else hoping that once Hasbro gets distribution down, that they'll re-release old harder to find figures?? Probably a dream, but it'd be nice, eh?
-
Hope to jeebus I find a decent job to afford all this. I saw some ML 11 at KB toys last nite, and wanted to cry b/c I couldn't buy any.

You could always bother Toybiz. Tell them you can't find another Taskmaster anywhere in town, and you don't want your money back, you just want Taskmaster. If you complain about it enough, they'll send you one. If they tell you they can't guarantee a Taskmaster, but they'll send a random figure in its place, go complain to the Better Business Bureau. Thats what I did with my Sinister 6 box set back in the day, and they finally sent me a shiney new boxset.

I'd snag the skeleton quickly too! It'd lend well if someone wanted to make the trophy room from the Future Imperfect storyline.

SHS Dr Doom Improved.Inspired by Dark Horse
Flying_Infant replied to steel bonnet's topic in Custom Figures
Looks great. Had my wife do the same for my spare ML Doom. They look more menacing with the real capes. -
Or if you can't get the manager, go to their site and put in a complaint...lol. I did, and got their manager to call me. Hopefully which will help lessen my finding of any ML.

If anyone _is_ in Augusta, Evans Wal-Mart has the Amazing Spidey figs. And a beware as well, Manager told me theres a group that swarms the local Wal-Marts snatching up the ML and X-Men figs. Probably scalpers. If not, then its a group of collectors I'd like to get to know so I can get some friggin' figs. Toy associate told me they come in and empty the darn pegs.
-
Same here in Augusta, Ga. Only one Wal-Mart in my area has any of them, but its all Wolvie and Cyke. Oh yeah, and one Gambit. Bah.
-
I care, I'm just too poor to buy any of them. Mind you, I'm a toy-whore, so I would probably buy them all if I could. Well, maybe not Torchy, cause I'm happy with the one I have, (the Movie one, yay!) but still.
-
I actually wait till they get the new wave in, then I go in and buy the previous wave, then they seem to lower price the before wave. I got Ryu and Ken for about $11 a piece. Mind you, my stupid butt bought Blanka from Gamestop, so it was $12.99. Also snagged Sakura from Hot Topic for $11. And uhm, Bumblebee, yeah, that is their website. Did a Yahoo search for "Hot Topic" and it came up as the 2nd result. And to note, I think the Mortal Kombat figures are in scale and articulation with ML too, aren't they?

Man, I wish I had the shelf space to show off all mine like you guys. All I have to contend with is a small shelf, and a couple of small spots on a few walls.
-
Ok, it must have been talking to you guys about it, because I stopped at the old Target in town and managed to snag ML12 Wolvie. He is now replacing the XMC Wolvie (black jacket) in my Marvel vs Capcom setup. And Apocalypse is so happy now that he can stand on his own two feet.
-
I still haven't seen ML 11 in my town. As for others, I passed on the Stealth Ironman when I saw one, stupid me didn't know it was a variant. Also mad I never got to get Storm, either Black Widow, or Man-Thing. Lets see; Dark Phoenix, regular Vision, Mystique, and I have yet to see the Fearsome Foes set too. Im certain that the gift pack will show up soon though. I hope....
-
Ooooh. All I have is Ryu, Ken, Blanka, and Sakura. Maybe I can get lucky and find the others that were made. Even though my shelf doesn't have alot of room, I've delegated my toy shelf to have a Marvel vs Capcom theme. Only exceptions now though are Maestro, the Anniversary Optimus Prime figure, X23, Bishop, and Galactus. Even got my old Megaman figure from the MvC toyline.
-
All of you that have gotten it are lucky. Before X-Mas, I saw _all_ of the ML12 everywhere. Now, all I see anywhere is Maestro, Bishop, X23 and Iron Fist. I got lucky and snagged a Sasquatch, but poor Apocalypse is still missing his left leg.

I dunno. That Juggernaut looks like it would be related to the Cyber Spider-man figure from the SMC line.
