  1. That's because it is Blackarachnia! Blitzwing, apparently.
  2. Excellent work! Seconding the request to know where you got the head from, it does look a lot better than the existing head. And where's the base from too?
  3. They're definitely better than the G1 jets. RM Starscream has taken the place of G1 Starscream in my collection, and I'll do the same with RM Thundercracker and Skywarp when I get them. On the down side, the noses droop in jet mode, the cockpits aren't transparent, and there's little leg articulation.
  4. It was called Dark Glass and from what I've read, it was meant to be about Rattrap finding Dinobot's memories and personality files in the Maximal computer (Dinobot downloaded them to the computer a couple of episodes before Code of Hero). Rattrap uploads the files to TM2 Dinobot in an attempt to bring Dinobot back, and it works for a short while, but eventually the TM2 Dinobot/Rampage personality reasserts itself and Rattrap realises that Dinobot is truly dead. (And there's actually an online comic done by a couple of fans that's based on the DG script) However, this does properly explain the events of Nemesis, when we see those flashes of Dinobot/TM2 Dinobot after Depthcharge destroys Rampage. With Rampage's half of the shared spark destroyed, the Dinobot personality reappears, which is why TM2 Dinobot suddenly has access to the Dinobot memories, starts talking about honour, and even switches from the metallic TM2 Dinobot voice to the Dinobot voice.
  5. Surely Megatron was the hardest to transform? Quite complex and lots of thin joints that could break very easily if forced.
  6. It has to be a Decepticon to go toe to toe with Prime. And as such, Megatron would be the first choice by a long way. He wouldn't even have to transform into a gun. Just a superposable, ultra-toon/comic accurate figure would do, and we could use the gun mode Megs from MP Prime to represent his alt mode. After that, it would have to be Starscream. Then Shockwave or Soundwave.
  7. MIB Diaclone Swoop Followed closely by (all vintage G1): MIB Prime with unused stickers. MIB Jazz. MIB Grimlock with unused stickers. MIB Snarl with unused stickers. MI(S?)B Jetfire. Still sealed both ends, but not sure if tape has been lifted. MIB Diaclone Slag.

Actually, Galvatron was shown in handgun mode once in the UK comic, when he used it to make a sudden entrance at a meeting with Cyclonus and Scourge (which was then interrupted by the Wreckers).
  9. I'm rather glad you posted that because I was just about to dropkick him across the room. I must have spent an hour trying to work out why the legs weren't transforming properly. @cussing@
  10. 1. It's cool to see where the best TFs originally came from. 2. They often just look better (Diaclone Swoop & Slag, Marlboro Wheeljack, Blue Bluestreak, Blitzwing, Ultra Magnus, etc). 3. Working launchers. 4. Pilots. 5. No kid-friendly alterations. Eg, Swoop has a pointed wings and beak, and Blitzwing has a pointed sword.
  11. I'm a G1 and Alternators only collector, but I did make an exception for Arcee. She's got a nice motorcycle mode and passable bot mode. I just wish she had decent hands!
  12. Fort Max and Scorponok are quite a bit smaller than Trypticon and Metroplex. At best they're no more than twice the height of a gestalt. Simple matters of scale make this a fact when you have a human/humanoid as your head.....
  13. In terms of both toy and character, I'd say Shockwave and Soundwave. Both of them were great toys for their time and still look decent today. Ok, they did get treated shabbily in the cartoon, but that's more than made up for by Shockwave's debut in the Marvel New Order comic and Soundwave's stint as Decepticon leader during Dinobot Hunt.
  14. Mine are all in bot mode, although I suppose showing them in dino mode would be a change.
