  1. There are quite a few I would like to see. Kill Bill, Bruce Lee, Power Rangers (Can be a great opportunity to double dip. Power Rangers/Super sentai versions)
  2. Legends is actually one of the best CW shows right now. Reception has been pretty good. Check out season 4's episode 8. It's one of the highlights. I feel like the show has the biggest potential as it's a team show. No string attached to 1 single character like the Flash or Arrow. Don't want to jinx it but they could pretty much replace the entire cast and put a new group of characters in the Waverider and continue the show. The beauty about this show is it recognize it's the show that can take themselves less seriously and embrace more humour. The only thing I hope is that they incorporate more comic book elements this season. Pretty much it's the show that as long as you know some of the characters you will still follow the episode.
  3. I like the figure. End up getting the Mondo exclusive. Honestly, still not feeling their figures are woth the price point. Premium prices but not premium quality. I was on the fence with this one until I saw their Mr. Freeze prototype. can't have Freeze without Batman so I end up pulling the trigger. I even got the Gentle Giant jumbo TAS Batman figure just so I can compare them both so called "1:6" toys.
  4. I feel like this will be like the Aliens Ripley exclusive where there will be a retail version that's slightly different. Perhaps without the motobike and endo arm.
  5. I'm sold with the Adam Strange figure and Supergirl. A Darwin Cooke action figure line feel very random. I guess it could be considered a continuation of the old New Frontier line with more modern look characters. I wonder would it cost someone's job at the office to include more joints for these figures...
  6. I have to say this set is disappointing. Other than the reuse of existing molds I really don't see any efforts from Playmates to make this set worth collecting. My biggest complain is that they cheapen everything. The movie star Leo is missing his belt. It that's the case why bother re-releasing something imcomplete. The 2k3 series had painted weapons and this one is just in plain gray plastic. Same case with the Fast Forward Leo as his futuristic blades should be in clear plastic.... The 2007 Leo is also missing in the box set as well. .
  7. This interpretation of Shredder resembles how he look in the Turtles in Time video game remake.
  8. I'm just pissed at how fast the exclusives and the subscription sold out. I might try again for this months Turtle and if it's still such a pain in the butt then I will just not bother with these.
  9. Looks cool but I'm a bit tired of Playmates reusing the same bodies for the 11" Turtles. I mean the sculpts great but I would appreciate if they add elbow joints and ball joint or swivel and hinge wrist. I was thinking that Playmates would continue what they started last year and release a black and white comic Turtles every year but I guess the steep priced they asked for killed the plan.
  10. I really want them to include the virtual screen on Donnie's wrist computer.
  11. Hey guys, just wanna share some photos of my repainted sewer lair that I just finished. It took me a few months on and off. The playset itself is fantastic and huge. There's lots of sculpt detail that I felt would look even better if it's enhanced by some paint job. The pictures were quick snaps with flash on so it might be hard to tell but I mixed a lot of the paint with some silver to get that machinery look.
  12. Looks cool. I already have a 8" Playarts Kai Cammy. I might pick up the Medicom version if I can find her at a good price!
  13. Cool. DC is trying to catch up with Marvel in theaters but they also stayed focus on the TV side where Marvel is still pretty weak. I wonder if Teen Titans would also tie in with the Flash and Arrow.
  14. The episode that featured the mystic Turtles got some good reviews but I wasn't a fan of it. Like the rest of the show, there's attempts for progress but the show kept it so simple and minimal that it doesn't interest me. The new weapons and armor makes no sense of whatever. They are Ninjas , what they are wearing should be basic but efficient enough for them to take on the challenges in their training. I really think the Nick show really shines when they try to have fun like the LARP Turtles episodes. It's fun, but not too over the top and the alternate looks sells toys.
  15. I wonder if it's because of the licensing fee costing too much. We are on series 2 and we are already getting all 4 Turtles repainted, not to mention the silly mutagen turtles that are store specific exclusives. The rest of the characters are using minimal new tooling as possible so we aren't getting much mutants. I normally love minimates but the way DST have been treating the TMNT series is just too much. I'm not a big fan of blind bags to begin with. And to top that, there's 4 store exclusives that are hard to get(Mutagen Leo,Raph,Mike,Krang). It's just enough trouble to get me say I'm staying away from these. Besides, it's been a really busy year for TMNT in 2014. Lots of vinyl toys from different companies: Kidrobot, Loyal Subjects, Funko Pop, Funko Mystery minis, etc.
  16. Not sure if Atilia the frog is such a good idea for a toy. Even the episode was kind of boring. Napoleon the frog was only interesting because Jon Heder who played Napoleon Dynamite voiced him and basically combined both characters. Definitely looking forward to Muck-man. As long as the articulation is decent, it has great repaint potential to look awesome!
