  1. Orders for the made-to-order item will be taken on MattelCreations.com from 9/28 9 AM PT until 9/30 9 AM PT (the “sale window”), with no purchase limits. Mattel may close the sale window early at its sole discretion Basially Mattel reserves their rights to piss off fans. Good one.
  2. No, she is $65 I think on BBTS. Or was it $75. I recall it was something outrageous. And even it she is $55. You are getting Marvel Legends quality give or take. That's used to be $20 retail and now it's $30 retail? So that's double. No way near what Super7 Ultimates are offering with multiple hand options, accesorries and additional head sculpts
  3. All joking aside. Just feel like Mattel's quality has been pretty bad until reccently with the Masterverse line being somewhat on par with other companies. Origins looks decent but I don't see it selling well at all.
  4. Supergirl looks kinda cool. Hoping to see a Powergirl.
  5. Anybody watches this show? Doesn't look very appealing to me. Yes there is the JSA but never quite thought Stargirl was an interesting character. Perhaps if Geoff Johns doesn't force her into everything she might actually be an interesting charaacter
  6. These are normally $15 so that would make it $60 total and now they are asking $150? That's more than double the price
  7. Surprise TLS copied NECA for the game sprite repaint. I would expect them to do metallic, full black with colored masks or something lazy before announcing there is a rare glow in the dark chase that can potentially worth thousands of dollars.
  8. I get these are niche characters but man, these are so overpriced. Can't believe people are supporting these figures that cost more than Super7 Ultimates!
  9. Not sure what you mean by randomness. There is a 48 hour window from September 28th to September 30th right? This is a pretty niche line so fans I wanted will already know about it. If people that don't really follow MOTI Origins online then they are more of the casual customers category. Also limited time window means people were more likely purchase based on FOMO. It's really simple business psychology
  10. I don't know why but seems like Hasbro is really setting up themselves for failure instead of the popular TV shows they're adapting these weird game versions and comic versions....
  11. We'll see. I don't think it will be much of an issue. Normally these business decisions don't happen lightly. So probably theh meant BBTS is handling distribution? Keep in mind it says exclusive online retailer. So in theory Entertainment Earthcan still order them as a distributor.
  12. Lootcrates are fun. Not aure why Randy wouldnt do it. Perhaps just getting hard to do. I noticed the shirts are getting cheaper in quality
  13. Ugh.... No.... The TV show character and the movie character are too different. It's like casting the late Adam West to play Batman again in a Zack Snyder Justice League movie
  14. Well , an award is an award. Todd won fair and square and its true. He does not have the DC master license and still out sold Hasbro/Marvel. If Hasbro wants the title, make more figures at an affordable price. Not to worry aboot share holders
  15. How much are they selling for? Because there are bootleg versions of Superman and Batman sets
  16. I don't really get this collaboration it feels strange, no pun intended... But the figures all look good. Already placed my pre-order. I just don't like that there's no release date.
  17. I really like Playmates but the truth is pulling out old molds and commission new art for box art and selling them to collectors is prpfitable than investing in the new. Nostalgia sells. Thats why some companies are doing so well. That being said Playmates invest in new mold and toolding with the crossover stuff. I think this has to do with the calm and business model there's no cartoon to support the toy line there's no toy line.
  18. Hopefully it's not going to be to overpriced or at least worth the price point
  19. I think you're correct Spinmaster has the 3.75-4" license. You can argue that there is a 0.05" difference but licensing Wise it's too similar sometimes. McFarlane has a Superpowers line soon there has been leak images of the new 52 Dark side the trouble is it's hard to tell the scale which I think will be 5 inches? Or a lot of us hope.
  20. 40 bucks for a chunk of plastic that barely moves someone must be high...
  21. Have never been so happy to knownits the finale. Besides the first 5 episodes. This season has been terrible....
  22. Have to say NECA must have improved on their IT. The website was so smooth this year. Still. looking forward to all the whinnig on the NECA social medias. So far it's stills pretty entertaining.
  23. Yuck.... Why can't we get releases of the better Supermen.... like Christopher Reeve Superman, Brandon Routh from Superman Returns and Crisis. Tyler Superman from Supergirl and Superman&Lois.
