  1. If I am right, last year Hasbro allowed other attendees to line up and purchase after the lottery ticket holders later on the day. Hope they still have the same plan
  2. Basically Hasbro is just milking the mold of what basically is the MMPR green ranger body sculpt and have them as exclusives. Bandai did the same thing. When Bandai handled the Power Rangers they were quicker because of lots of resuse, minimum tooling with new head sculpt. Hasbro took over and their first wave features quite a bit of new sculpts and a villain which was absent in the Bandai line. Anyways. I have a feeling Hasbro was testing waters with series1 and will do a proper launch during SDCC this year. The exclusive are definitely ways to draw hype towards the MMPR fans. The fact that all the rangers so far features unmask head sculpt probably means longer time needed for approvals and such.

    Bruce Lee

Wow that's a wide selection. For starters 1:6 is very quiet but personally I own the Hot Toys casual version of Bruce Lee and that one you should be able to get it for $100 roughly. The Enterbay one's are pretty good mostly because I like the Game of Death look and that was their last attempt. If you can find the Japanese release SHF series there were an Enter the Dragon and Game of Death version. Great sculpts, 3D tech print faces. multiple hands and accessories. If you are interested in static figures then Diamond Select is making some PVD statues of Bruce Lee, they are a bit more dynamic as their are energy flows sculpted on the posed figure. They are also making action figures too. Based on the ENter the Dragon and Game of Death look.
  4. Shinny! Despite how much of a Batman fan I am, I don't own any of the Jada toys Batmobiles. Tempted to start with this one.
  5. Root hair looks cheap for sure. I personally think it shouldn't exist on my 1:6 collection at all. However, there are characters that I like but for sure won't get a sculpt hair treatment. End up getting the Hot Toys Wonder Woman. Despite hating the rooted hair, still got it because of a good deal.
  6. It's a bit expensive for a 6" but based on the limited run I can see why they need to price it higher. Growing up as a kid I didn't care about Toxic Avenger but now looking at it, it feels very familiar with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toyline. ALready pre-ordered with BBTS.
  7. Good luck again everyone! Remember if you ain't first, you're last!
  8. There are quite a few I would like to see. Kill Bill, Bruce Lee, Power Rangers (Can be a great opportunity to double dip. Power Rangers/Super sentai versions)
  9. Legends is actually one of the best CW shows right now. Reception has been pretty good. Check out season 4's episode 8. It's one of the highlights. I feel like the show has the biggest potential as it's a team show. No string attached to 1 single character like the Flash or Arrow. Don't want to jinx it but they could pretty much replace the entire cast and put a new group of characters in the Waverider and continue the show. The beauty about this show is it recognize it's the show that can take themselves less seriously and embrace more humour. The only thing I hope is that they incorporate more comic book elements this season. Pretty much it's the show that as long as you know some of the characters you will still follow the episode.
  10. I like the figure. End up getting the Mondo exclusive. Honestly, still not feeling their figures are woth the price point. Premium prices but not premium quality. I was on the fence with this one until I saw their Mr. Freeze prototype. can't have Freeze without Batman so I end up pulling the trigger. I even got the Gentle Giant jumbo TAS Batman figure just so I can compare them both so called "1:6" toys.
  11. I feel like this will be like the Aliens Ripley exclusive where there will be a retail version that's slightly different. Perhaps without the motobike and endo arm.
  12. Can we confirm that they got rid of the build a figure?
  13. I'm sold with the Adam Strange figure and Supergirl. A Darwin Cooke action figure line feel very random. I guess it could be considered a continuation of the old New Frontier line with more modern look characters. I wonder would it cost someone's job at the office to include more joints for these figures...
  14. Hey guys, just wanna share some photos of my repainted sewer lair that I just finished. It took me a few months on and off. The playset itself is fantastic and huge. There's lots of sculpt detail that I felt would look even better if it's enhanced by some paint job. The pictures were quick snaps with flash on so it might be hard to tell but I mixed a lot of the paint with some silver to get that machinery look.
  15. Cool. DC is trying to catch up with Marvel in theaters but they also stayed focus on the TV side where Marvel is still pretty weak. I wonder if Teen Titans would also tie in with the Flash and Arrow.
  16. Mattel or rather Digital River has been handling the situation rather poorly. They updated via Facebook telling people Doomsday Unleashed are out of stock and more shipments are coming which is strange wben Mattel have been refusing to do pre-orders I got an official answer from them about the strike at docks when I emailed Matty asking when I should expect my goods. It should have been the other way around with Mattel keeping customers inform.
  17. It's interesting DC is finally making use of the multi-verse as a story tool and also acknowledging pre Flash Point events. Finally a big event that catches my interest
  18. This figure came as a surprise for me as well. I suspect that NECA and WB worked out a loop hole to give out this special "Kenner" version as a promotional item instead of a product for sale so they are able get it made. Because until Mattel gives up on the DC license we won't see other companies making 6" scale DC comics movies figures. I think Mezco got away by offer 6" fabric costume figures.
  19. Wow! I might plan to go to Six Flags next year!
