  1. How the fxxx can CW cancel Legends and Batwoman.... and then green light Gotham Knights which pretty much has the same plot as Batwoman...
  2. These look good and are way easier to scale with the dino releases. I still prefer the 6" version. The elbow joints in the smaller scale are tricky to look good.
  3. Been a fan of the DC animated movies since the beginning but I have to say this does not look good.... What's going on with WB these days screwing up.
  4. I was very welcoming to the side eyes. Todd's right, it makes the whole collection less mannequin. I do think it may be fun repaints down the line for 2 packs or something to look straight. Sometimes you have to be innovation and show customers what they can have instead of what they think they want.
  5. I am pretty amazed by the art work you have collected. Let me know if you have an Instagram page to check out. Cheers!
  6. Sounds promising. but this is also the writer that ruined Batman and Superman for a generation. Along with a crappy Ghostrider movie.......
  7. Probably not sure how these will do. But instead of looking on Ebay. Why not just preorder from P-Bandai. It's $62 plus tax, plus shipping. There will always be people buying multiples. It's been like this since adults are buying toys. For trade, for collecting, for investment, or just helping a friend, etc. It's just how things are. Free market and such.
  8. I don't collect WWE figures. But to be fair. That's a good point. WWE is handled pretty well by Mattel. The DC figures were the terrible, out dated ones. The Dino toys I don't have anything bad to say about it. The humans however, are decent, I am seeing improvement.
  9. This is a rare case that Mattel actually made decent look figures. Still getting nightmares by how bad the DC lines were.
  10. The show really took it's time to figure out it's own identity. It's more light hearted and I was a bit surprise to hear that a few of my friends watch it and really enjoys it. That's the contract he has. 7 years. He's grateful for the work. Especially during last year under the pandemic where nothing is certain.
  11. I think with the license articulated figures the repaints are necessary to regroup the tooling cost. At least you aren't stuck with a build a figure piece that forces you to buy a repaint. It actually reminds me of the SOTA Street Fighter figures and the multiple sprites repaints.
  12. Honestly, the Snyder was a bit better than the theatrical release. I still don't the big problem with the Henry Cavill mustache. Part of it is I just really never cared about a Superman that can't fly on a his own. They fixed that with both versions of the Justice League movie. I heard good things about the Snyder cut and I enjoyed a good chunk of it from watching it last night. BUT, I also see why they needed to recut the movie for the theatrical release. To say Warner Brother is out of touch to not continue the DCEU is more or less a fan boy comment. DCEU just wasn't great. They needed someone other than Zack Snyder to oversee the projects. Sure Snyder makes cool scenes but he sure doesn't know hot to tell a story. Took him 4 hours when Whedon and WB more of less did the same story in 2 hours.
  13. I like Tyler as a person but man, the CW Superman is weak. I was hoping that it will be a cool post Crisis story of Brandon Routh's Superman. That would be dope! The problem is that the CW Superman has always been under Supergirls shadow from the start. Heck even the crew doesn't show much respect sadly. He's playing Superman! The pilot may surprise me but right now just don't see much of a good story here with Superman and Lois plus 2 kids. It would be fine as a natural story progression but starting the show that way just doesn't give me confidence.
  14. The figure looks okay. At first I thought it was a custom lol That being said, the hair is lacking detail on the sculpt and there are no picture showing the back of the figure. I hope it's a just a mistake but BBTS have her lists for 75 bucks.... That's a Marvel Legends style figure that's worth $20..... WTF
  15. Was really hoping someone would ask this question. IMO this should be the number 1 question to all the companies nothing else. But to put everyone is perspective. Spring toys should be all shipped out by now to hit that 1-3 months time frame to arrive to the States. The next batch which would be summer shipments are probabaly in the assembly line if not now or soon. So those may suffer some delays which could potentially catch up if companies express the shipments. Which brings us to the real question. How long with the coronavirus last. If it's true and the best case is everything goes back to normal around May. Then it's a minor delay for Q3 and Q4. If it's worse than China will lose a lot of business for sure. What about other countries taking over the production line? Possible but to be honest China has so much experience with production it's hard to find another country to replace in short term. There are toys made in Thailand or Vietnam but based on experience those suffer from more QC issues so it will hurt the products temporary.
  16. If I am right, last year Hasbro allowed other attendees to line up and purchase after the lottery ticket holders later on the day. Hope they still have the same plan
  17. Basically Hasbro is just milking the mold of what basically is the MMPR green ranger body sculpt and have them as exclusives. Bandai did the same thing. When Bandai handled the Power Rangers they were quicker because of lots of resuse, minimum tooling with new head sculpt. Hasbro took over and their first wave features quite a bit of new sculpts and a villain which was absent in the Bandai line. Anyways. I have a feeling Hasbro was testing waters with series1 and will do a proper launch during SDCC this year. The exclusive are definitely ways to draw hype towards the MMPR fans. The fact that all the rangers so far features unmask head sculpt probably means longer time needed for approvals and such.
  18. Wow that's a wide selection. For starters 1:6 is very quiet but personally I own the Hot Toys casual version of Bruce Lee and that one you should be able to get it for $100 roughly. The Enterbay one's are pretty good mostly because I like the Game of Death look and that was their last attempt. If you can find the Japanese release SHF series there were an Enter the Dragon and Game of Death version. Great sculpts, 3D tech print faces. multiple hands and accessories. If you are interested in static figures then Diamond Select is making some PVD statues of Bruce Lee, they are a bit more dynamic as their are energy flows sculpted on the posed figure. They are also making action figures too. Based on the ENter the Dragon and Game of Death look.
  19. Shinny! Despite how much of a Batman fan I am, I don't own any of the Jada toys Batmobiles. Tempted to start with this one.
  20. Root hair looks cheap for sure. I personally think it shouldn't exist on my 1:6 collection at all. However, there are characters that I like but for sure won't get a sculpt hair treatment. End up getting the Hot Toys Wonder Woman. Despite hating the rooted hair, still got it because of a good deal.
  21. It's a bit expensive for a 6" but based on the limited run I can see why they need to price it higher. Growing up as a kid I didn't care about Toxic Avenger but now looking at it, it feels very familiar with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toyline. ALready pre-ordered with BBTS.
  22. Good luck again everyone! Remember if you ain't first, you're last!
  23. There are quite a few I would like to see. Kill Bill, Bruce Lee, Power Rangers (Can be a great opportunity to double dip. Power Rangers/Super sentai versions)
