I like the Frag Vipers a bit.. they aint perfect, but good enough.
That neon green Cobra Letal guy is hideous
and the white Mortal is okay.. just kinda boring
Still have high hopes for the others

hmm.. I have alot of geek t-shirts, but that's probably it besides the collection.
However, I have alot of Chicago Bears stuff sprinkled into my life
-
I think the company of the year should be Diamond Select Toys... they keep on pumping out those Minimates like crazy! and even though I don't collect them, I admire the selection and constant quality in the line. I wish other toylines would be so consistent.
If Hasbro would have released all of the stuff that they were supposed to for the 2012 year in a timely manner, I would have chosen Hasbro and the MU line. But Hasbro has been the worst toy company this year IMO
-
congrats to the Niners and Ravens. If I could pick from all the playoff teams, I would probably choose those two.

how come chinese sellers don't ever get these? Not that I would.. I have only bought a couple of canceled figures from chinese sellers.. but I am surprised that they don't get these.. they get everything else
-
dang! I think it's 430 for a set!!!!! and I am out.
430 for non-members.. 360 for members
-
geez.. the Night Force Joes sound great! I definitely want to add those figures to my collection. The Cobra side sounds pretty crappy though. FragViper and SawViper might be cool though.
this is the first set in a long time that I have really been interested in purchasing
-
I would buy both of them. However, I think that there are probably plenty of other characters that we need first
-
Maybe, just maybe, we'll see some really cool characters on Retaliation cards that aren't really in the movie, kind of like the TRU exclusive Quick Kick, Spirit, and Bench Press (still kicking myself for passing on that one)? They did make some rather cool figures like Ice Viper in the original movie line. Plus you never know what you may get in the way of vehicles.
Maybe they will release some of that stuff that they already had designed from the concept case at JoeCon last year. That would be awesome

I got like 12 years now under my belt.. !

to recap the categories:
Property of the Year
Retro Comeback of the Year
Toy Sculptors of the Year
Toy Company of the Year
Toy of the Year
sounds fun.. I'll have to think of my votes and get back
-
I am sure that they will have a few new figures, but not much because they are already so backed up
when they got behind the Marvel Universe line, they didn't show anything new for a long time, just the same figures.. then finally they showed 3 new figures at NYCC
-
pretty easy for me since there are plenty of X-men that I dislike
my team:
Cyclops (leader)
Archangel
Iceman
Beast (not cat Beast)
Colossus
Nightcrawler
Wolverine (acting as the loner, not the guy who wants to be team leader or a part of 9 teams at the same time)

I know that alot of the RAH purists feel that the line started to degrade after 86.. and I can see that school of thought. The 83-86 figures are clearly different than the rest of the era. With 87, and each year after, things started shifting towards stranger, weirder, and more colorful toys.
But to me, I still loved that stuff. 87 and 88 were GREAT years to me. 89 was good too, there are some great figures mixed in with some less popular ones. I feel the same way about 1990.. there are some figures in there that I LOVE, but none of them get very much recognition. 1990 also has some GREAT vehicles, some of my favorite of the entire line.
And even 1991 has some figures that I really like, but not as much as previous years. The vehicles in 1991 could have been decent, but the colors were so terrible.
Then the drop-off to 92 is quite severe. I picked up a few of them here and there, but they started relying on neon and action gimmicks instead of quality toys.
so if you ask me, 1990 was good. and 1991 is the last "kinda" good year.. but not great.

geez.. I am scared that the Bears are going to hire some unestablished clown and he will fire the defensive coordinator and start from scratch

I think its really stupid that were are not suppose to talk about who they are @loll@ Im going to go find out and post it @loll@
Draven
the club requested that you don't.. but "WE" certainly aren't stopping you.. go on ahead.. like I said, if anybody comes in here and ruins the surprise, it's their own fault
-
I am guessing that anyone who would come into this thread doesn't mind knowing.. I mean you wouldn't come into a thread about the figures if you were trying to be surprised
-
yeah.. that was crazy to lose that game. I would have been upset if it were the championship game!
Congrats to Nevermore!
fun season all around..thanks everyone for playing!
-
And honestly, I don't get the whole secrecy thing. It's not like they aren't going to get all of the figures eventually anyway. Whatever.
yeah, it seems dumb... I don't care if the Club doesn't want folks to spill the beans...
but I think there might be some fans who do want to be surprised when they open their packages.. so there is that reason to keep it a secret
-
I heard which two they are,and one of them is one I was thinking about getting the sub for.. the other is one I didn't want.
I look forward to seeing some pics of them next to other figures
-
I am getting the same message.. so I am avoiding mnews
I have messaged JayC about it
-
woah that is awesome! If I had a job I might get it.. very cool and excellent quality.
but it's #006.. what were the first figures?
err.. nevermind
#1 was Mickey
2 was Minnie
3 was Mickey dressed like Woody from Toystory
4 was Batman in a style that looks like a Disney character
5 is a Stormtrooper, that again looks like a Disney cartoon
very cool figures, they come in neat packages too

I agree with everything you said. the skinny legs do really hurt the FragViper... but I still like him, not 30 dollars like him, but definitely 10 dollars like him
