  1. I was expecting more from the Tomohawk. It looks a little Tonka-ish. Especially when compared to the original. It looks much smaller too. I really wanted to like it, but was hit hard with disappointment. Maybe it's because I never had an original and I thought this would be my chance. Who knows, I might change my mind when I see more of it in better detail.

huh? I am missing something then.. because it looks the same to me. I'll have to look at some old pics for comparison

the only difference I can see is the cockpit and insides have been changed. I don't know if they mixed up the proto here or what, but the chairs are in front of the guns now.. and of course they are difference chairs

  3. So the "cheap plastic" refers to how it is a softer almost diluted plastic when compared to ml before 2012. This makes the joints less fluid and easier warped. It gets pretty hot in Cali and I can notice how my old Sentry compared to the 2012 Steve Rogers differ in fluid joints and how they the new stuff is less resistant to heat. The new figs sculpt is great and I don't blame Hasbro for finding a cheaper alternative, they still are great figs and times are tough.

But those of you who have the old toy biz Punisher (or even the nemises wave punisher) and the new Hasbro Punisher can compare the feel and how easy one fig can move its joints and how one feels more solid. Especially in the leg joints the new figs feel rough to move and can be warped a bit in package.

I personally I'm not likeing the running change, they are off releasing a new wave when I still not seen blade not even on eBay. Plus back in the old days my area was great for ML but now I don't see anything but wave 1 2012 stuff. I get most of my ml guys online now

yep.... and I can see how the plastic on him looks cheap in that pic. Hyperion looks almost a little translucent and gummy

  4. Hasbro needs to get with the program and adopt the articulation style of their other 3 3/4 lines for Star Wars.

GiJoe and MU are so much better than Star Wars. I cringe everytime I see the t-crotch

  5. Star Wars 6 inchers:

    Luke X-Wing

    R2D2

    Darth Maul

    Sandtrooper

    Gijoe:

    Budo

    DataViper

    Kwinn

    Ultimate Cobra Commander

    Ultimate Road Block

    Ultimate Stormshadow

    EagleHawk

    Marvel:

    Universe Astonishing X-men 3pack

    Universe Asguardian 3pack

    Universe Elektra

    Universe Mysterio

    Universe Rhino

    Legends Wrecker

    Legends Jean Grey

    Legends Black Panther

    Legends Bulldozer

    Legends Phoenix

    Wolverine Legends Wolverine

    Wolverine Legends Astonishing Cyke

    Wolverine Legends Emma Frost

    Wolverine Legends Puck

    Ironman Legends Ultron

Ironman Legends whatever the rest of them are because I want Iron Monger BAF

    Avengers Assemble Red Skull

    Avengers Assemble Black Widow

    Avengers Assemble Leader

    Avengers Assemble Falcon (probably)

    Avengers Assemble Hulk (possibly)

  6. it has nothing to do with Disney. Disney bought Marvel, not Hasbro. Hasbro is still in charge of making figures however they want to. And they pay a licensing fee to Marvel/Disney, which has already been decided upon. Nothing changed, I am sure Disney has to honor all of the contracts that Marvel had when they purchased them.

  7. Oh and thank goodness SF lost...that would have made my life hell. Especially with the Giants winning the World Series. Now all the bandwagon 9er fans can put away their brand new jerseys away.

quit hatin lol.. the Raiders aren't going to be contenders for a long time man!..

Niners screwed up (mostly Kaepernick and the DBs, especially Culliver).. but they still got cheated by the refs. Another bad mark on the NFL's record

I'll never stop hating on SF...and that was the right call. The refs had been letting that go all game. Its about consistency. Besides Crabtree ran into him and clearly pushed off.

It wasn't a bad call or slight on the NFL (like the Tuck Rule). Its just loser crying.

And yes I am well aware of the hypocrisy of bringing up the tuck rule haha.

actually, consistency is what I am talking about. On the Ravens last scoring drive, the Niners stopped them on 3rd and 10. But the refs bailed them out by calling PI against the Niners for Anquan Boldin. The Ravens went on to kick a field goal instead of having to punt. That put them up by 5 pts. they had been letting them play physically, but then called a WEAK PI flag against the Niners.

However, when the Niners are in the endzone, they let the Ravens DB clearly wrap his arms around Crabtree and GRAB AND PULL his jersey, without calling PI.

So they gave the Ravens a PI call that allowed them to go up by 5pts. (without that flag, the Niners could have won with a field goal at the end instead of needing a TD. But they failed to call the most obvious PI of the game when it counted the most.

The refs screwed up. You are just biased

  8. I am thoroughly impressed with the few new items that we are seeing here. I LOVE that Ultimate Storm Shadow! He might become my favorite Joe figure. He looks perfect. I also love that new Cobra Commander. Finally a perfect version of him! Now, if only Destro could get the same treatment... since both of those were kinda let downs from the very first push of the 25th line.

and the Eaglehawk!!??!??!?!? I have to apologize to Hasbro because I didn't think they had this kind of epic-ness left in them. I am sorry for doubting you guys! That is sick and the price is great too! They even retooled it for modern figures! Outstanding.. (my only gripe is that it's the same paint deco as the first release.. which is great, but I already have one.) I can see myself buying a few of these and trying to paint them black or grey

  9. the 6 inchers look AMAZING. I love the first wave and they are all must haves. I am even okay with Darth Maul's plastic/cloth combo. Glad they went with mostly plastic

the 3 3/4 inch "black" line looks dumb. I don't know why they are sticking with that old articulation. What is the point of the new label if the figures are going to be the same figures they have been releasing in the vintage line.

  10. I'd say $60 on the secondary market would be optimistic. The only real attention I pay to SDCC exclusives are the GI Joes, and at 3 3/4" a lot of those have been priced at $60. A 6" Fett, from a new line that everyone's excited for? Scalpers are gonna take advantage of that.

oh I know it's optimistic.. I am saying that will be the best price for this if you can catch it at the right time, when lots of them are put up right after SDCC and collectors don't quite want to pay that much or know how high it will go

  11. yeah.. I never saw Daken, White Spiderman, Thunderball, or Madam Masque... but I did find masked Daken, Big Time Spiderman, Piledriver and Madam Hydra

that is my only complaint about their running changes system.

(also haven't seen ANY of wave 3 yet)

  12. I hope they make the exclusive one of he odd costumes, like the all white prototype, or the animated series, and not one of the main, ESB or RoTJ costumes, or the fans will have a fieldday ripping out the hearts of whoever decided that... lol. It shouldn't be too hard to make something exclusive about it, but also give the regular line a regular Boba Fett. I hope they play this one safe.

agreed. people are going to be getting bloody in those SDCC lines for Boba Fett!

  13. I DO NOT want to see a Han Solo movie. Han was not that old at the time of Ep.4 .. so it is impossible for them to do a "young" Han movie.

They would just have to chose an actor that would be close in age to Harrison Ford at the time the originals came out.. and he would NOT be able to be Harrison Ford.. so it would not be Han Solo.

big mistake making a Han Solo movie

  14. uh... I guess I am in the minority here.. I think more Star Wars movies would be AWESOME!

Yoda is like 900 years old.. so there is plenty of room to have a Yoda movie that wouldn't effect the originals

But there are other characters I would like to see more..

Boba Fett - mostly because we don't know jack about him and they could do alot with his bounty hunter past..

Obi-Wan - with Ewan McGreggor... I just loved his portrayal of Obi. but it would be hard to do because it would have to fit between the movies they have already done, and that would involve alot of other characters.

Chewbacca - he was already like 200 when he first met Han.. they could do some stuff from his home planet or about when he was captured and made a slave... maybe some gladiator stuff lol

Other Jedi like Ki Adi Mundi, Kit Fisto, etc

Expanded Universe characters like Dash Rendar

  16. at this point, I would like to see ANYTHING we haven't seen before...

or hopefully, Hasbro will decide to release some of those figures from the concept case that we saw last Joecon... to make up for all the lack of product this year

I want to see SOMETHING that shows they haven't just been sitting around for a year while Joe was on hiatus

  17. apperently at the last joecon it as said that Duke was added to wave 3 not 4, but 3 has been spotted with no Duke, so maybe i'm crazy wrong and we will see him in March.

    3 has been spotted already?

I thought only wave 2 had been found

Yes wave 3 is hitting Target stores. Jason from TheTerrordrome just tweeted this pic of his finds https://twitter.com/terrordrome/status/297800555865178113/photo/1

awe okay.. cool! there are a couple guys I would like to grab from wave 2 and 3
