  1. I'm probably an outlier, but I always thought that John Bernthal was a TERRIBLE choice to play the Punisher. He doesn't look the part, and the script gave him NOTHING to do but grunt or speak in a montone voice,
  2. They should have called them "TOTAL CRAP."
  3. I don't know, Lynda Carter looked GREAT doing it on her show. On the other hand, watching Keaton, Kilmer, Clooney, and Bale beating up bad guys in a black-rubber muscle suit, that got silly. But Linda Carter's show had a campy appeal that neither DC nor the fans will want for WW's big-screen debut. In addition, the athleticism and stunts utilized today are far more hyperkinetic than in 1976.
  4. Honestly...Meh. The production values were good, but in my honest opinion, WONDER WOMAN will never work on the big screen as long as she's wearing the classic costume. It just looks ridiculous watching a woman in a bathing suit beat-up guys with machine guns. Yes...its a classic costume, and it looks great on paper. But on-screen? It's silly. Keep the tiara. Keep the colors. But fix the rest.
  5. Honestly, Gotham without Batman is like...well, I dunno', but it ain't that interestin'...
  6. Good point, but not necessarily. Stealing highly expensive stuff is an immediate red-flag. Making sure I pay for something I previously signed-up for isn't...
  7. SOOOOOOOOO freakin' true, it's scary...
  8. Not sure I'll stick with it; it had way to many Whedon-esque "cutesy-pie" moments. That's one of the reasons I LOATHED Buffy. Coulson is more of a lightweight character here, not the more serious spy-guy he was in the movies. And YES...he's an LMD.
  9. So in reality, it's just another cop-show that occasionally features Batman??? Sounds dumb; fans will want Batman...not plain ole' cops.
  10. I had previously spoken with the CC-company to make sure they specifically DID NOT process any charge from MATTY/D-R. It was their ideas to cancel the card and re-issue with a new number because MATTY/D-R wouldn't be able to process it, and they were correct: The CLUB INFINITE EARTH membership was canceled when they couldn't get payment. As far as following through is concerned...that's not really relevant. I wasn't asking for my original membership fee to be refunded, I was telling them that I did not want to receive anymore figures. They claimed that you can't back-out per their contract
  11. UPDATE: 1. Spoke to bank; they informed me they would NEVER provide a CC# to a 3rd-party vendor. 2. Spoke to MasterCard; they informed me they would NEVER provide a CC# to a 3rd-party vendor. 3. MattyCollector still has NO IDEA how the number got into their system. 4. Mattel claims to be "investigating." 5. Digital River Fraud Dept. called me right back, and are taking this VERY SERIOUSLY. They refunded my "purchase" without being asked, and are investigating. Again...I think that the folks overseas are working - likely unofficially - with an unnamed 3rd party to hack Credit Card #'s.
