  1. Wasn't sure where else to post this. I know it's not a TF, but an other toy looks like from Japan. Anyone know?
  2. Has anyone ever heard of Toon Town Optimus Prime? It is from 1997 and it is from Hasbro International. See the attached file for reference. Any idea of its worth?
  3. Transformerland Transformers is looking for quality transformers-related websites to reference, We've already got a few good ones, but could use a few more. So if you are the owner of one, let me know and I'll check it out and reference it if it looks good!
  4. I've got a running tab on the Alternators at http://www.transformerland.com/transformer...lternators.html can anyone post the prototype tracks pic I've seen floating around?
  5. Let's pray so! Ok, on to the Primals then the Japanese Convoys!
  6. Consider it done! And yes, I do intend to do a Convoy page, I'm working on the database right now...I may want (need) to use some more of your images, especially for the rare lucky draw stuff BTW, what kinda digital camera do you have? I have the Canon Rebel 6.3 megapixels, and I can't get nearly the quality of the pictures that you get. BTW, I know nothing about cameras, so I just use auto mode, and I dont use any lighting except the ambient room lighting. When I try to take an angle shot of a figure, one region stays in focus but the rest gets blurred. I think this is a depth-of-field issue, I've tried messing with the setting, but that makes the image very dark. Take Universe Silverbolt and Cheetor as an example. I've added a high quality image of Silverbot to make the comparison more relavent. Sorry for the digression, I was just impressed by the quality of your images. I'll keep you posted on the convoy page (it'll probably take a week or two cause I know there were a lot more japanese versions than american versions!)
  7. Ok, I've added the G1 spychanger Prime along with a pic of the 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime (review coming soon after I get my hands on one). That brings the grand total to 30 different US Optimus Prime issues. I hope it stays that way cause that's just a perfect number!
  8. cool name for it Do you know what toy line these belong to? They say 'G1 spy changers' but the Optimus Prime is G2 laser rod with a G1 color scheme. The packaging just says 'Transformers'.
  9. I've just finished a page (well, it's still a work in progress that's mostly finished) that lists out with pictures and reviews, all transformer toys released in the US that ever bore the name 'Optimus Prime'. http://www.transformerland.com/g1/optimusprime.html You can see it by following the above link. Someone pointed me in Remy's direction as far as pictures of the new 20th Anniversary Prime goes. I was wondering if I could get permission to use the packaged US version image on my site? Please let me know! Thanks!
  10. jarethke: wow, that guy takes good pics. I mean, I have a good camera (6.3 MP)...but I'm still trying to work out my depth-of-field to keep everything in focus. I'll send him an email to see if I can use one of those pics on my site
  11. Update: I've now got all 5 of the HOC's there (I'm relatively sure that's all there are so far). Also added info on the Armada Supercon variants (thanks King Poseidon). I also rememberd the K-Mart Powerlinx Giftset. Jerethke: I'll get to work on the new spychanger from KB, thanks for the heads-up! I'll get pics of the Anniversary Prime as soon as it hits the stores...unless you can find me a picture of it either packaged or loose (with the anal-retentively shortened smokestacks). Jerethke and king poseidon: I've added a contributors list to the page, and stuck your nicks from adc on there, I hope that's ok with you, if not let me know and I'll take em down.
  12. Oh, and apparently there's a new Optimus Prime with HOC Wave 5 (Optimus Prime with communicator). Looks like this page will get a lot of updates
  13. Cool, thanks for the info...I'll do some research on these guys, and I'll give a shout out to you for the help
  14. Action Figure Soundwave: That's a great idea! I'll get right on it. I think that all happened early during the Japanese Headmasters series, correct? And what was the gimmick with the toys again? They could both hold 2 tapes at once or something like that? I had Twincast at once, but someone offered me their entire GI Joe collection for him, how could I refuse? (he had like 300 of them inlucding vehicles!) I remember he came packaged with Steeljaw. Heh, maybe you could write the blurb if you know more about it It looks like you're all about the Soundwave there, based on your name and your sig! Oh, and Tranceformer, while that would be a more creative reason, it's not necessarily because I'm into techno music, but more just because the names 'transformer' and 'transformers' are inevitably always taken
  15. King Poseidon, I've got a nice blaster for sale (click on my sig below). Price is negotiable within reason. Scotty, I'm not sure...maybe the whole "he's a non-playing radio" from the Microchange series thing had something to do with it. He was meant to be a radio. Plus, all of the cassettes that were used for Soundwave had been released during the same pre-Transformers toy line. Hasbro only started issuing 'brand new' molds after the movie, in 1986 (with Hot Rod, Kup, Springer, etc.) I guess they could have done it in the cartoon, but it probably took them a while to get the molds and production facilities into place for the new figures once they realized they had a popular toy line going.
