They're supposed to be available to all retailers according to an article I read on polygon.
-
Ha! Your post earned a "like" for that one. So, where are the preorders at? I was really hoping not to have to run all over town looking for these. Word is Target had exclusive rights to distribute these early and other retailers/etailers can't sell until April...so pre-orders should be coming soon I would think.
-
These are starting to hit Targets across the country. They were stocking the shelves at my Target this morning, and there were two full cases sitting unopened on the floor. I asked a lady working there if I could pop one open and she told me to go for it. I grabbed Cyclops, Shatterstar and Polaris.

Old Man Logan, Colossus and Dazzler I can live without, but Jim Lee Cyclops, Polaris, Sunfire and Shatterstar are all must-haves in my collection... Really surprised they didn't give us an updated "Classic" Colossus. The wave 6 Toybiz Colossus still holds the crown for the best version of Colossus in my collection.

I would only want 4 figures per wave, as I'm sure they would be $20+ per figure, and Marvel Legends is already sucking my toy funds dry. lol I would want the figures in their most iconic outfits, with appropriate accessories, made to the standard of the current 6" Star Wars Black and ML stuff. My perfect Wave 1 would be: - Firefly V1 Outfit and Accessories - Stormshadow V1 Outfit and Accessories - Low-Light V1 Outfit and Accessories similar to the POC figure - Duke V1 Outift and Accessories

I'm surprised we haven't heard anything more about their plans. I figured they would want to have these available to purchase by January.

I'm actually surprised at the hate for this movie in this thread. I thought it was a fun movie, with plenty of good moments. The humor was also done well.
-
Ya, I understand that. Lol As of right now, mine would be: - Deadpool - Ultimate Spider-Man - Kitty Pryde

Ugh...this post made me feel like I'm getting old. I remember seeing some of those customs way back when...and that was nearly 15 years ago now that you mention it. lol

Looks great. I can't wait. I loved Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. I wish I could get through Daredevil, but for some reason I just can't make it through the first season...some of the episodes just seem to drag too much or something. I always end up falling asleep, or losing interest when I try to watch it.

I would be all-in on a 6" GI Joe line done correctly. That said, I would be a little worried about them using the ML bucks to create GI Joe figures. I don't think I would like them having super hero bodies.

If you don't mind seeing people you care about getting hit over the head so hard with a baseball bat that their eye pops out of it's socket, and then seeing their head smashed into a bloody pulp with said baseball bat ...it's not real bad. Lol There have probably been some other things on The Walking Dead that have been just as bad or possibly more graphic (Noah's death), but because it's happening to a character that the audience is so emotionally invested in, I think it makes it that much worse. That, combined with the fact that the brutality didn't really let up through the entire episode made it seem really over the top and really pushed the boundaries for a cable television show. My wife got up and left the room at one point in the episode, and I've never seen her do that, even when we've watched messed up horror movies.

Ugh...that episode was pretty disgusting. I think they went a little overboard with the gore.

Season 7 premier tonight! I can't wait. It'll be interesting to see who they decide to kill off.
-
I don't, but I was going to jokingly reply, "No, I don't collect Barbie dolls" before I even read your post. Lol A lot of the Sideshow and Hot Toys stuff looks really awesome, but I don't have the funds to be able to collect them like I would want to, so I have just stuck with smaller scales.
-
This one to be exact. I also loved the bases that came with all of these figures that you could hang on the wall...was a great way to display them...

One figure that I still love to this day is the original "Spider-Man Classics" red and blue Spider-man that started the Marvel Legends ride, way back before they were even called "Marvel Legends"...I think it was 2001? Seeing a 6" figure with that much amazing articulation was awesome at that time and I still think the figure holds up pretty good.

Selling my 25th Anniversary carded collection. Waves 1-13, only missing 2 figures. http://http://www.ebay.com/itm/HUGE-GI-Joe-25th-Anniversary-Collection-Lot-Set-Waves-1-13-MOC-73-FIGURES-/291912322081?hash=item43f7548c21:g:gt8AAOSwmLlYAqTl

We've had a lot of different versions of Spider-Man released from both Toybiz and Hasbro, so which is your go-to Spider-Man? Right now, for me, it would have to be Ultimate Spider-Man from the Venom BAF wave. I love all of the extra hands and the Peter Parker Head. The figure also has great articulation, and I love his size compared to other figures from the line. My only two complaints about the figure would be the paint in his armpit where the joint is, and how they left the hinge red, instead of painting it blue like the rest of his side/underarm area. I also wish his torso joint would swivel.

The original movie was wrote and directed by Crichton. I first saw it years ago...like late 80s/early 90s on cable on maybe USA Up All Night or something. It's a pretty cool movie as far as 70s sci-fi flicks go, and it has Yul Brynner.
-
Lol Ya, that would about cover it.

Anyone watching Westworld on HBO? The first two episodes are pretty good. Seems like this show is going to give everything the movie left me wanting for.

Hmmm...I think your facts are a little off... If you watch this interview from SDCC, at about 2 minutes in, he says they have full intentions of taking over Thundercats but don't have the rights to the license at this time. https://youtu.be/ApeZbSrmMkc

You know, I look at these pics and can't help but think...it's no wonder GI Joe is failing. Most of these figures are from molds that were created 7-10 years ago. Maybe Hasbro should bite the bullet, kill 3 3/4" Joe and give us a 6" line.

Here's a couple more shots of some figures from the current X-Men wave:
