  1. LOL, thats funny. I just got a Scareglow cape yesterday.
  2. some people on other forums have reported the same thing. i dont know exactly what area theyre in, but youre probally not the only one. it seems that a lot of targets are only getting one case of these. i bought 4 of the 6 figures yesterday, my son came home from a b-day party and seen them, and instantly wanted them. i ran to target 1st thing this morining and only managed to snag him a batman.(the guy ahead of me wouldve had bats too if someone wouldve put him in the right spot) i went to 2 other targets, and one didnt get them, and the other was sold out. im guessing that mattel will send more in the near future, but its just weird that they only sent 1 case. they shouldve just packed BL and MF instead of supes/bats doubles imo. Ah, but then we could accuse Mattel of making sense, and that is just soooo wrong.
  3. Should be 3: Superman, Black Lightning and Major Force. That's why I never got any of Hasbro's Clone Wars line. Had they been made to look realistic, I might have have way more Clones and characters than I have now!!! As is, I only stuck to the main line!! So I guess thanks Hasbro for saving me money!! Hasbro has been saving me lots. No more Star Wars, GI Joe is way down, and Transformers is non-existant. I can't imagine their idea men could think all this movie related stuff appeals to the fanbase that made the product so popular to demand a movie. Reverse logic I guess.
  4. So I stopped into the Newington CT Target on my way back from UCONN, truthfully because I had to make a pitstop. I looked around the toy section, which was utter crap, but I asked a target employee who was messing around in games to run the DCPI. She said she didn't have a telstar, so we went to a price checker. For some reason the buttons were not working. There were 4 employees puttering around in electronics. Again no telstar. I said screw it, I'll go to customer service. On my way I went to a price checker in health & beauty, typed in the DCPI. Wow 6 in the back. I went to customer service and she typed in the DCPI and I asked if we could get them brought out. She radioed the back 3 times with no reply. After 15 minutes, the store manager came over and asked what the problem was and I explained the situation. I am going to type it once here as during this trip I had to say it SIX TIMES! There are none on the floor, but 6 in back. The movie came out not just LAST Tuesday, but Tuesday of LAST WEEK. The are similar to 6 inch DC Universe, but different. DC Universe are sold everywhere, even Stop & Shop. These are ONLY at Target. At electronics he ran the DCPI in a telstar. He consulted the first woman I talked to about a planagram, These were not listed. He consulted another woman who was in electronics, and they were discussing that somehow they were listed as entertainment, by another code that I didn't catch. He said "No, they are a toy right?", to me. I nodded. He meantioned something about the 11th, but I told above story again. So those 2 disappear into the back for 10 minutes. She comes out with an opened case and says "Sorry, we only have Supermans." I said "No way! Let me see." I proceeded to pull out Silver Banshee and then Icicle. Note: There were 2 Batman and 2 Superman left. Then the manager comes back and starts talking about If they are on the shelf, they couldn't break a case and add more and what not. I told the story again, and followed with: You got the stuff. I got money. You are here to sell stuff, right? This isn't a museum, right? He goes, "How many are you going to get?" I said, "Two" He said' "Fine." I had to ring out electronics because, If they didn't register, I'd have to give them back. Fortunately, they worked. So after an hour, I got Silver Banshee and Icicle. $13.77 each. BTW, judgeing by the size of the legs, Brimstone would probaly be the size of Solomon Grundy. I do like how they hide the stand in the corner, behind paper. I do not like how the C&C parts are not in a "stock" position like DCUC. I do not mind the "anime" heads on these two. Icicles features could be muted by the ice. Banshees face is tolerable for an "at peace" look, but unfortunately she I really wish she was screaming. As a side note, I can't understand why her upper arms are black plastic with grey paint. It would look better reversed and would not have been difficult to do. They already painted black on the torso & thighs. They didn't have to mix the grey at all. ??? Just now I noticed my Grundy has a 2 tone shirt. odd.
  5. Between the new mask and shoes, He is different enough to get for me. I need to get more goons for the Joker anyways.
  6. He is the "Super Powers" version. Good luck with that. He'll probably scream at you for not emailing him.
  7. Updated reply #182 with: DC Universe, series IV Despero Left arm x1 Mattel Batman series: Zipline Batman's yellow pulley DC Universe, series I The Demon, Etrigan: MOSC DC Universe, series VIII red Parademon: MOSC DC Universe, series IX Robo-Mantis: MOSC
  8. You're one of those guys that likes to flip to the last page to find out who did it aren't you? Naw, I dont bother cuz I cant read.
  9. Probably right. I hope they do a "Fatality" Star Sapphire and Tempest.
  10. Well that sux. I'd much rather have that version than a blue WC. I agree, that it would have been nice if they added the yellow triangle on his torso, but not a fan of that gold. I disagree, I like the purple Wildcat much more than the black version.
  11. Nice to confirm a case breakdown. At least 2 of the 4 figures I want are 2 per case. I foretell those Batman are going to be clogging the shelves.
  12. How does this apply. Those are Marvel figures.
  13. Can we get a list of who/where has seen them in person to see if they actually made it all the way east?
  14. Can't be true. When I've seen wave 9, I saw: 2x Guardian, 1x Green Arrow, 1x Robo-Mantis, 1x Deadshot, 1x Black Adam 1x purple Wildcat, Black Canary, Mantis, Deadshot, Guardian I highly doubt these stores are putting 2 cases up. It is hard enough to get them to get them at all.
  15. Is that real smoke? Or a camera or computer effect? you could say camera effects, but it wasnt done by the camera. Take off your top hat Edward Nigma and tell me the answer! =P Sounds like he is saying it just came out that way by accident.
  16. I only care about the Cheetah. The rest are worthless to me.
  17. Well, I plan on using the Romat-Ru head to make a Tomar-Re.
  18. Why is Super Powers higher than DCUC? DCUC has a more expansive roster and is re-doing most of the Super Powers chacters. MASK is still better than Marvel Legends, Masters, and Marvel Universe. Well, because it was the FIRST decent collection of DC SUPERHEROES ever made. Besides they have something that DCUC lack in a very BIG WAY. The BATMOBILE, The SUPERMOBILE, The BATCOPTER, The LEX SOAR-7 vehicles; The TOWER OF DARKNESS & The HALL OF JUSTICE playsets. and a lot more prototypes that never saw the day of light, just to say a few. as for M.A.S.K. being better than ML, MU or MOTU...well, maybe or maybe not. Anyway MASK is in my TOP 10. The only reason Super Powers got vehicles, was because it was in a smaller scale. I would want a Batmobile and Supermobile in DCUC though. Another suggestion would be a modular playset. Maybe in place of the C&C for a change. Build an alley or something. That was the only thing Marvel Legends was good for scenery. (lamp posts, dumpsters, trashcans, etc...) I feel the only room for improvement for MASK would have been if they were the same size and articulation as GI Joe. I for one would have bought them to use with joes. I'd buy a Lashina for myself.
  19. DCUC is an AWESOME line, but for me I'd say no, not Toybiz's Marvel Legends. Mattel sometimes does the cheap thing and use the standard buff body on characters that shouldn't be buff which hurts the line in my eyes. Then there is the fact that too often they're happy to just paint on costumes instead of sculpting details. All that being said I really like DCUC a whole lot more than Hasbro's Marvel Legends....and maybe's Toybiz's last wave or two. Marvel Legends still OWNS dcuc. Nothing 'Marvel' related owns DC, let alone their toyline. Preach on my brotha!! Good God! DCUC left ML in the dust with the very first wave. Marvel Legends were the most overrated line of broken mannequins ever palmed off on the public. Their BEST sculpts still remained compromised by the obsessive need to over-articulate these figures. You could have a Spider-Man who could scratch his own ass but he still looked like one of those wooden mannequins artists use to draw from. The over-articulation not only impaired the sculpt but it also made for some pretty flimsy figures, many of which came right out of the package broken. Yeah. DCUC has this problem too but at least their sculpts aren't under-mined by a joint at every point of the figure. The ML female figures were ALL hideous! Jesus! Remember that Scarlet Witch figure? UGH! What blind man sculpted THAT? Marvel Legends were garbage. They were a nice attempt and they could've been a GREAT toy line but they constantly tripped over their own over-articulated feet! There were a couple of nice pieces in ML. The BAF Goliath, the BAF Sentinel, and the first Absorbing Man were all nice. Everything else was ugly, flimsy or both. DCUC ...even with its problems... has become the GREATEST toy line of all time! I feel DCUC has a few too many joints, but the excess of ML joints ruined the aestetics of the figure. Every one looked like an android or Molecular from Silverhawks. Good God! DCUC left ML in the dust with the very first wave. Nothing can touch GiJoe from the 80's But lots of people want DCUC. Vintage joe sales have plummeted. I still buy RAH playsets and vehicles, but the RAH figures cant match the modern ones. Why is Super Powers higher than DCUC? DCUC has a more expansive roster and is re-doing most of the Super Powers chacters. MASK is still better than Marvel Legends, Masters, and Marvel Universe.
  20. Why not just swap Sinestros hands, as well as his head? Then you can put the Xudarian head on a Green Lantern and make Tomar Re? I'd rather have the modern hawks actually.
  21. There are issues that go all the way back to the beginning. My Red Tornado does a split under his own weight. 3 of the 4 SC Sinestros that came my way had construction issues. One has a right fist that was so tight it tore when twisted. Two had legs that were not glued together. Paint on him is a whole other issue. I saw a sealed Amazo that had the center anchor post protruding from between his pectorals. My first Shazam had a tight fist that tore. Anything I have from wave 7 up (all of 7, all of 8, 2 packs, 5 pack) are nice.
  22. Any black Wildcats you're willing to sell or trade? No, I am looking to get one.
  23. Well, let's see... 1940's Batman serial: Never saw it but I might enjoy this. 1966 Batman movie: Okay. I like this one but one a whole other level from later movies. 1989 Batman: Ugh! Long. Boring. Jack Nicholson is good but the Joker doesn't do much other than perform acts vandalism on a cartoonish level. Michael Keaton is horribly miscast and looks awkward, stiff, and in pain as Batman. The worst Batman costume of the post 80's movies. Batman Returns: Michelle Pfeiffer is good as Catwoman but again you have Keaton miscast in the title role. Batman Forever: Val Kilmer is another miscast Batman. Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones are obnoxious in their roles. Batman and Robin: One of the worst movies ever. Completely indefensible. Batman Begins: Long. Boring. Christian Bale continues the tradition of looking stiff and uncomfortable in a hard rubber Batman suit that is distracting in how it tortures its wearer. I couldn't make it through this in one sitting. The Dark Knight: The first hour of this overrated, over-bloated pig makes for a fine Batman story but unfortunately the cameras just keep on rolling and rolling. The Joker looks like a nebbbishy homeless man. If Ledger hadn't dropped dead, we'd be making fun of his Joker and not putting up statues in his honor. Then because not enough ham had been packed into this never-ending mess, the Two-Face story is shoe-horned in for good measure and an extra half-hour. So...sigh...I guess yes. Really, Guy. I hate them all. are you serious, Keaton was one of the best batmans ever, his bruce wayne was ok but in costume he did a good job She certainly would fill out the costume. She had the endowments to make a good version of the Jim Balent era. ^^ One of the most memorable images of Catwoman for me. And probably the only time I've understood all the thinking-with-their-units that fanboys do when it comes to wanting Catwoman in a Batman movie. You know, I'd have to agree about Keaton. He really seemed to get the somber/withdrawn Bruce when he isn't in the limelight really well. I'd go further to say his onscreen time with thugs was awesome in Batman & Batman: Returns, it was just his time with Nicholsons crappy Joker and De Vitos crappy Penguin that hurt. It is like the scene was so poor it dragged him down. Stuntman or not his fights with the martial art Joker goon and the Penguins circus are awesome to me. That is an iconic picture. How exactly does she manage to get the material around her boobs like that and still continue to breath. I wish they'd try to bring that back. The modern lesbian boots and pilot goggles don't do it for me.
  24. There is a dude on tfw2005 who needs that Chemo lower torso bad. His came without the connector.
