  1. Well thanks guys, I appreciate it. I've been keeping an eye on e-bay and stuff and have noticed that the normal going rate for a Twilight Frodo on there has jumped to over $200. But like you say, if they release another in the upcoming ROTK line, then the value will drop a good amount. Lets hope something like this happens. Keep those figures crossed! ~The Belk~
  2. I have a FOTR Legolas, TT Galadriel, Prologue Elven Warrior, Grima Wormtounge, and one other Two Towers figure of your choice (anyone, I have them all), that I would be willing to trade off for a MINT (!) Twilight Frodo (I'm looking for one in perfect shape). All of my figures are completely 100% mint (I don't buy them unless they are). If anyone is interested in this trade or has any questions, email me at (belkguys@gallatinriver.net). ~Dan Belk~
  3. I just sent an e-mail your way man. ~The Belk~
  4. Although there are lots of people who want the case assortments to be even, there are a good amount of people (such as myself), who like when figures are packages one per case. Crazy you say?!?! Well heres my reasoning... 1. When you finally find that one figure that is 'oh so very rare', you really feel like you have something. It gives the figure a greater meaning. 2. Simply put, the thrill of the hunt. IMO, I see things this way.
  5. I'm on willing to trade two of the following figures (all perfect MOC) for a Twilight Frodo (MOC only). I have a Galadriel, Prologue Elven Warrior, Traveling Bilbo, and Moria Orc. If anybody is interested or has any other trade ideas for me, just e-mail me at belkguys@gallatinriver.net ~Dan
  6. Wow, talk about awesome. I was really wanting a Gimli figure in the TT line. I don't care if it's a re-release or not, I'm just happy to get one since I missed him in the FOTR line. I'm also into collecting harder to find figures, so the news of him being up there in the rare scale with Galadriel is good news too. Theres just something about finding that one particular figure that everyone else is killing for that really gives me a good feeling  . Alright, enough ranting. Good Job ToyBiz! ~Dan
  7. I'm wanting to know if theres anybody out there who would want to trade a MOC LOTR:Fellowship of the Ring Elrond, Legolas, or maybe even Strider for my perfect MOC LOTR:TTT Galadriel. I'll only trade if the figures are in nice MOC shape. If anyone is interested, just let me know. Taker easy. ~Dan
  8. The reason they are more valuable is because they make fewer of the green light-swords and fewer of the no-cape Elven Warriors. They make a lot more of the correct blue sting Frodos and more Elven Warriors with capes. For collectable purposes, the ones they make fewer of are obviously the more rare, more valuable figures. As far as the prices seeming low, like I said, this is the general price of them. Heck, Galadriel could be worth $30 right now, but this is just what I've found about the general price. I hope this helps. Later on. ~Dan
  9. For those of you who are curious, my collection is: Series 1: Gandalf The White Gondorian Ranger (spanish package) Series 2: Rohirren Soldier Saruman The White Grima Wormtongue Traveling Bilbo Series 3: Frodo Galadriel (x2) Prologue Elven Warrior Twilight Ringwraith Merry/Pippin Series 4: Gollum King Theoden in Armor Helm's Deep Legolas Samwise in Mordar Series 5: Ringwraith Moria Orc Deluxe: Sauron ~Dan
  10. I really dig posts like this. Someone takes the time to write down info about the figures from the movie that we all know and love. I just wanted to write a sum of all the info that I have gathered about the Two Towers line. If am wrong or forget anything (which shouldn't be a lot, if anything at all. I have taken the time to check and get positive information), just let me know. I guess I'll start off with the sum of each series. I'll tell you whos in the series, for some I'll post the suggested value (this will be a generalized value. They can go for more or less on the secondary market), and a few variants that I think are worth noting. The series are as follows: Series 1: Gandalf The White $6-8 Legolas $13-16 Gondorian Ranger $9-12 Easterling $9-12 Faramir $9-12 Elven Cloaked Frodo $8-9 Series 2: Eomer $9-12 Rohirren Soldier $12-15 Saruman The White (Beige)$12-15 (White)$8 Aragorn $7-9 King Theoden $9-12 Grima Wormtongue $9-12 Traveling Bilbo (1 per case)$9-12 Series 3: Frodo (Green Sword)$10 (Blue)$8 (Yellow)$8 Galadriel (1 per case) $15 Prologue Elven Warrior (1 per case) (No cape)$18-20(cape)12-15 Helm's Deep Aragorn $8 Twilight Ringwraith (Black sword)$10-12 (Silver)$8-9 Merry/Pippin (1 per case) $8-9 Series 4: Gollum King Theoden in Armor (1 per case) Helm's Deep Legolas Samwise in Mordar Gimli (Cancelled) Strider (Cancelled) Boromir (Cancel) Series 5: Ringwraith Ugluk Grishnakh Berserker Uruk-Hai Moria Orc (1 per case) Chase Figure: Twilight Frodo (1 in every 6th case) (shipping with Series 4) (e-bay)$35-100+ Deluxe: Sauron $27-30 Treebeard $25-30 Horse and Rider: Gandalf & Shadowfax Aragorn & Bergo Ringwraith & Steed Two-Packs: Merry & Grishnakh Pippin & Ugluk Elven Archer & Uruk Berserker I have a little story and info to go along with my post as well. Today I went to my local Wal-mart to figure hunt. They had two King Theodens. Then I went to another Wal-mart close by only to stumble upon a huge score. I found two boxes of series 2 and other assorted figures from series 5. I walked out of there with Traveling Bilbo, Saruman, Grima Wormtounge, Rohirren Soldier, and Moria Orc. Heres the interesting info for you. Saruman and Wormtounge are now being shipped one per case. I'm not sure if he's always been, but so is the Rohirren Soldier. As stated above in the series description, the Traveling Bilbo and Moria Orc are one per case. For those of you who didn't know about the sort packed Saruman, Grima, and R. Soldier, there you go. The Saruman and Grima always used to be shelf-warmers around my area, but it seems as if ToyBiz has changed things around a little. My prediction is that they are doing this to get rid of them. People see that they are rare now and being packed one per case, so they want to buy them more. This is just my take on things. I hope this post has helped some of you. This is a great line of figures. I think I can speak for a good majority when I say I can't wait for the ROTK line to hit store shelves. Take it easy... ~Dan
  11. Was the Elven Cloaked Frodo a rare figure? The reason I asked is because I never really heard a whole lot about him and they only have one auction on e-bay for him. If someone could shine some light on the subject, maybe even give a 1-10 rareness opinion, I'd greatly appreciate it. ~Dan

  13. After about 35 minutes of searching, I found a great site for everyone. This shows what figures came out for the first two movies, what is rumored for the third movie, how much a figure is worth, if there is any variants, and great pictures of each figure. They even include the MIddle-earth line and two-packs and 12'' figures. I hope this helps everyone out. Enjoy. ~Dan
  14. In the last two weeks I've found two Galadriel's at my local Wal-mart (2 Prologue Elven Warriors and Merry/Pippins as well). I picked up both Galadriels. If there is anybody with a Two Towers MOC Traveling Bilbo or Series One Legolas (NOT the one with the sheild skateboard), I would be willing to trade straight up for it. Send me an e-mail if you're interested. ~Dan belkguys@gallatinriver.net
  15. There are 5 waves out my boy. The Two Towers line are as followed (correct me if I get anything wrong, but play nice. I'm doing this from memory): Series 1: Gandalf The White Legolas Gondorian Ranger Easterling Faramir Series 2: Eomer Rohirren Soldier Saruman The White (Beige & White variants) Aragorn King Theoden Grima Wormtongue Series 3: Frodo (Blue & Green Sword variants) Galadriel (1 per case) Merry/Pippin (1 per case) Prologue Elven Warrior (Cape & No cape variants) Helm's Deep Aragorn Twilight Ringwraith (Black & Silver Sword variants) Traveling Bilbo (1 per case) Series 4: Gollum King Theoden in Armor (1 per case) Helm's Deep Legolas Samwise in Mordar Gimli (Cancelled) Strider (Cancelled) Boromir (Cancelled) Series 5: Ringwraith Ugluk Grishnakh Berserker Uruk-Hai Moria Orc (1 per case) Chase Figure: Twilight Frodo (1 in every 6th case) (shipping with Series 4) Deluxe: Sauron Treebeard Horse and Rider: Gandalf Aragorn Ringwraith I even tossed in some variants that I think are worth knowing about. I'm not as sure about the FOTR line like I am TTT line. I hope this will help you out man. ~Dan
