  1. Just be happy your favorite characters aren't Mysterio, Ultron, and Annihilus. After them, I'm very thankful for the Doom we got...(Annihilus doesn't look bad, but you sure have to get a lot of things that do to get him)
  2. Every time my interest in this hobby starts to wane, I see your dios and it comes right back. Good stuff.
  3. Make Toxo-Viper ver. 2 Mr. T's henchman... because that fig is just too darn cool. Call him Clubber Viper.
  4. I'm going to go with Shock Viper again, because all of my picks are doomed to lose! (besides Range Viper, miraculously). Is the best Shock Viper a defected Ice Cream Soldier? That thought alone is worth a win. Flamethrower Commando!
  5. I don't think a Snow Serpent would add much diversity to this force 90% of the time (you know...when it's not snowing). Frag-Viper.
  6. Man...I'm tempted to vote for Mega Viper, but the Range Viper has been my favorite ever since one shot up Sneak Peek.
  7. I don't think Sneak Peek excels at surviving, TM... I'll go with Effects. He goes into outerspace without gloves. Does Lobotomaxx count? He's still breathing and is missing the top of his head. Scarlett seems to get shot/stabbed quite often and lives... And don't forget Robo-J.O.E.!
  8. I just had to pick Incinerators because they have the biggest balls (which they can launch from a catapult!). Sure Alley Vipers are mean, but they use shields and armor. Incinerators go out in the open knowing one stray shot can ...incinerate them. And it actually makes (a bit) more sense for them to wear orange. Plus I just want an obscure guy to win one of these instead of the usuals for kicks...even though I know it's a lost cause.
  9. Ice Cream Soldier (flamethrower commando...that's like Snake Eyes and Blowtorch rolled up into one...but worse) Copperhead Shock Viper Cobra Commander Steam Roller Blackout Roadblock Sgt. Slaughter
  10. Mortal Gnawgahyde Scalpel Interrogator Fridge Venomous Maximus Tomax Razorclaw
  11. The Mathemaniac. He attacks you psionically with abstract mathematics. Where else can you find such villainy? Besides at the local community college.... Oh and Shrunken Bones...who has...shrunken bones.
  12. I was fine with the concept the way Toybiz was doing it. You'd get a figure who was actually huge that you couldn't sell by itself on a standard ML card, in waves that usually only had one do-over figure. Half of each Hasbro wave seems to be do-over figures, the BAFs are characters who could easily be released on their own card, and are usually the only villain in the wave to boot. But this is personal whining from one who collects only one of each character and prefers villains. So while I feel your pain myself, most people on this board seem to be completionists who would be buying the whole wave no matter who was in it, so I wouldn't expect too much sympathy here, because in that case the BAF concept is actually a value. Plus it helps Hasbro/Toybiz sell more figures which is the bottom line regardless.
  13. I'll second a lot of these, mainly: 1. Stryfe 2. Darkhawk 3. Shatterstar in original outfit 4. Doppleganger 5. Ultron (Comic accurate) 6. Wrecker (or any of the Wrecking Crew, really) 7. Thanos 8. Black Knight 9. Blackbolt 10. Mephisto BAF - Fin Fang Foom And I won't second Cat-Beast. Or another Deadpool (I like him but his fans are scary...)
  14. Heroes: Captain America Darkhawk (ha) Ghost Rider Iron Man Spider-Man Villains: Dr. Doom Mysterio Red Skull Stryfe Ultron
  15. Blastaar vs. Annihilus (I can't believe they cancelled him...) X-Man vs. Holocaust Cable (with guns) vs. Stryfe Darkhawk vs. Evilhawk Iron Man vs. Jack Daniels (a real bottle) Mysterio vs. Anybody (he just needs a new sculpt) And I'll second... Ka-Zar vs. Sauron Adam Warlock vs. Thanos Ultron (that doesn't blow) vs. Yellowjacket
  16. You know it's sad...but that Mysterio and Ultron are better designed than their ML/SMC counterparts... gotta love that old-school Mimic too.
  17. Gog & Magog in the Marvel Universe are a father/son tracking team of Mojo's (as opposed to DC's Kingdom/Kingdom Come characters). They've been teamed up with Quark (under Mojo's control) before.
  18. Well I think they'll be their own line. They're not a wave of the Spidey figs we've been getting. They're their own assortment, Spider-Man Classics Web-Splashers. Spider-Man Classics has been used on 5" figures before. I think they're just releasing more figures along the lines of that, that have nothing to do with the Spider-Man figures we've been getting lately. Could be wrong of course, but Toybiz -has- re-released 5" figures and accessories before. It stands to reason they would again. There's a lot more Spidey toys than just the ML-type ones on the market today. There's also shape-shifters, stunt systems, and deluxe rotos on the same list with the Web-Splashers. It says 6", I just got a bad feeling about it, is all.
  19. Are you suggesting that they are just going to put out those old awful figures again!! Thats hard to believe. No one would buy those things now. I'm just saying if they think folks will buy that nasty X-Men Sentinel playset, I don't see why they won't think we'll buy more old re-released crap.
  20. The SMC figure coming out is part of the Web-Splashers line. Toybiz already released the Web-Splashers in the old Spidey line (the one that started out based on the animated series). The line up for that was similair to the line up for this Web-Splashers line, including Namor and Carnage. With the re-release of that old Sentinel, I bet these will just be the old figures too...so don't get your hopes up too much. Here's some links: http://www.marveltoys.net/figures.php?figureline=64&v=1031 - Namor http://www.marveltoys.net/figures.php?figureline=66&v=1031 - Carnage
  21. I love these kinds of threads. I'd do something similair but...I'm sick and lazy...
  22. Are you talking about women? Then yes, unless their daily routine involves Arby's.
