Frankly I think Clutch could be a segue into a re-booted Joe series. He's got a Fast and Furious backstory with the street racing. He gets recruited by the suits for anti-terrorist mission. Maybe he's a new army recruit blowing off steam on the weekends. Maybe he served a year or two to avoid some kind of juvenile detention and gets reactivated. We follow him joining the small, mobile Joe team trying to stop a terrorist plot that they being to realize is much bigger than they first thought.

Hasbro G.I. Joe Classified VAMP With Clutch Figure Detailed Look
ransomz replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
I know not all Joe fans are big Dreadnok fans, but I am. In fact, I think they could sustain their own media property. Comiics, Cartoons, movies, toy lines, licensing. How do you make bad guys antagonists? They already have a Mad Max kind of vibe. I'm sure that's a big reason that I like them. Lean into that. They live in the bad lands, surrounded by bad guys doing bad things. It would be a dog eat dog kind of saga. Like Suns Of Anarchy. I'd be there for that. -
Hasbro G.I. Joe Classified VAMP With Clutch Figure Detailed Look

I see what you mean. I guess there should be some kind of foot pad under the rear bumper. I expect they will be doing different decos of the VAMP, desert and camo at least. Maybe they will do something with that then. On another note, if the Thunder Machine is the next Haslab, I'm in. -
Hasbro G.I. Joe Classified VAMP With Clutch Figure Detailed Look
ransomz replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
That was actually a reference to the comic book. In one of the early RAH issues, Clutch explained he ran the turret with a remote he kept in his chest pocket. It didn't make a ton of sense that he could drive and run the turret, but I went with it. -
Hasbro G.I. Joe Classified VAMP With Clutch Figure Detailed Look

I'm really happy with the way Clutch came out. He was one of my favorite characters back in the day, in part I'm sure because I liked the VAMP a lot. I'm surprised he doesn't come with a remote control for working the turret though. -
JayC's Top 10 G.I. Joe Classified Figures For 2023

Hasbro has done a really amazing job on this line. I'm enjoying all the figures I've gotten so far. I'm looking forward to getting Torch and Zander and most especially that VAMP with Clutch. -
Hasbro G.I. Joe Classified Pulse Fanstream December 7th Coverage

I was going to skip Big Boa until I saw that picture of him fighting Quick Kick. I was just thinking what a ridiculous character Quick Kick was. I mean who would go into combat dressed like that? Maybe once for some weird reason, but not on a regular basis. Not in a modern army. Then I saw the picture of him fighting Big Boa. That's why you want a guy like Quick Kick on your team. Because they have Big Boa. -
Valaverse Power-con 2023 Action Force Booth Images

These are all very cool. I'm a Joe fan but haven't bought anything any Valaverse yet. I'm loving what I'm seeing though. Just out of curiosity, I wonder if this is good or bad for Hasbro's Joe line. Does it increase the interest in scale and lead to further purchases from both, or does it take away purchases from Hasbro. Not to imply Hasbro is entitled to those sales. All is fair. I'm just curious if collector dollars are a zero sum game? -
Hasbro Reveals 2023 Pulse-Con Exclusives And Slate Of Programming
ransomz replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
So the reveals suggest we are going to be getting Gnawgahyde before we get Torch. While I really want Gnawgahyde, I definitely want Torch pronto. I'm also hoping the next Joe Haslab is the Thunder Machine. -

Right. I don't know why I thought it was for the 6 inch line. Wishful thinking, I guess. -
Wow. Really impressive. I am enjoying the level of artistry on this site.

Well now, that is pretty darn cool. I like the wash on Serpentor's chariot, too.

Wow, great shot! Looks very cinematic.

Very dynamic picture. That's the one they would put on the movie poster.

They certainly have been worthy of promotion lately. I thought Picard season 3 was great and I'm hoping Jerry Ryan and crew get a spin-off. Strange New Worlds has been great, too. That Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow episode was as good as anything, imo.
