That is one good looking head. Are they easy to swap?

Maybe Snake-Eyes knows that's really Zartan disguised as Scarlett and he's trying to tire him out before springing his trap. So what head is that on Scarlett?

HBO Max Developing 'Peacemaker' Spinoff With Viola Davis
ransomz replied to Outsiders's topic in Entertainment News
I'm going to be watching it, too. I'm guessing it will be a little more serious than Peacemaker though, not that Peacemaker didn't have heavy moments.- 3 replies

GI Joe Classified DELUXE Dr. Mindbender Revealed!
ransomz replied to toynewman's topic in Action Figure News
He comes with a disembodied brain? That is pretty wild. What a great looking figure. Hasbro is really hitting it out of the park with the new Joe line. I can't wait to start seeing some Dreadnoks. -
Very dynamic. Great shot! (by both the photographer and Snake-Eyes)

DC Multiverse Outsells Marvel Legends In 2021?!?
ransomz replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
It seemed like McFarlane was pumping out a new wave of figures every week. It felt like he had a very limited window with the DC license so he was trying to grab as much cash as possible, rather than building a brand over years, or even decades, as in Marvel Legends case. If one outsells the other in a particular business cycle, that doesn't mean they've won the race. -
That's too bad. I was really looking forward to overpaying for some plastic ruined castle miniature. Maybe I'll check Amazon.

Hasbro Says Price Increases Will Soften Sales While Mattel Disagrees
ransomz replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
While price increases do suck, there may be a silver lining. Typically raising prices with consistent demand equals fewer sales, as Hasbro is forecasting. This means Marvel Legends won't be a volume business, or at least compared to what it was. They will be forced then to cater to the adult collector market more than they do, which means giving us stuff on our top ten lists, filling out teams, etc. I'm sure they will still crank out the major characters but they may also give us more characters that will sell well to a smaller base. -
Those sets look cool. What's the link for scalper's auctions?

I passed on getting Toad in the first wave because I knew one day they would come out with an actual Marvel Legend version. I should have gone into a coma for 20 years.

I think the enlarged packaging is a real improvement. Bigger is always better, after all.

Valaverse Exclusive 6" Action Force Sgt. Slammer Figure Details
ransomz replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
Sgt. Slammer reminds me of someone. I can't quite put my finger on it. -
There have been a lot of retro figures coming out. The Defenders of the Earth line with Phantom, Flash Gordon etc. Up next ... Captain Planet. He'll be saying, "I told you so," on the packaging.

I agree that a 6 inch line seems like the logical guess. I remember when they showcased the 2008 line at Toy Fair they were pushing that the Indy line was compatible with the new 3 3/4 GI Joe line they were putting out. The problem was, the Joe figures were actually a little bigger than 3 3/4 and the Indiana Jones figures looked puny next to them. The point is, they obviously wanted to link a new line to an existing line, hoping to sweep in some collectors. Makes sense they would still want to do that. It's really working for the Joe line. I'd imagine they will be something like they current Joe line. I am really looking forward to seeing what they do.

Great looking custom. I'm hoping Hasbro re-releases the classic version of Roadblock that was an Amazon exclusive. I don't want to pay $60 in the secondary market for him.
