  1. Whoa Man 3 Faces thats pretty harsh. Please take those foul words out of your post.
  2. Whats the new version of Sauron? Do you mean the witchking? If thats the case a new figure of the witchking is already coming out as seen in this months current toyfare. I dont see how people could say the end is drawn out. I mean they had to show everybodys ending to finish the series off. I personally woulve liked to have seen more of Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimlis ending. This movie is definetly the best of the three without a doubt. Although I was dissapointed with the abscence of the Mouth of Sauron, after playing the game I though he was a defintite for the big screen. Oh well maybe the extended edition. To bad it wont come out till November.
  3. Hey guys! Well I saw Return of the King last night errr... this morning at one of the midnight showing. It was amazing, definetly my favorite of the three. Anyone else see it yet? What you guys think?
  4. Thanks for the answer Superfly Well I went to a comic shop in my area in search of the new Justice League Superman figure. They didnt have any but I actually just happend to go to a Suncoast and find Superman for $12.99 as opposed to$15.99 for other DC direct figures at the comic shop. All in all pretty sweet deal.
  5. Hey man, compared to all the other fast food toys, these are pretty good. Id be happy to get them with my popcorn chicken.
  6. Hey guys, I just got into looking at DC Direct figures and finally found a comic shop that carries them. This might be a stupid question, but why are DC Direct figs so expensive?
  7. Hey, Did any of you guys see the pictures of the UK KFC toys over at Green Dragon? They look really sweet. If anyone has a set I'd be interested in trading/buying them. KFC Toys
  8. Just watched the trialer! Man am I stoked for this movie! Its gonna be so awesome! Hopefully I get to go see Aliens tonite so I can see the trailer on the big screen!
  9. So I was checking out the internet for figure stands and i found these: Figure Stands Has anybody tried these with LOTR figures? Im thinkin about ordering a pack to see if they work.
  10. I just got the new Aragorn Rotoscope Figure yesterday and have got to say that it rocks! I was really impressed with how cool this figure is. It stands 11" tall, comes with two swords that also have sheaths, and has 18 points of articulation! Its basically a giant Helms Deep Aragorn action figure and looks great fighting my Hulk rotoscope fig. By the way my Toys R Us only had the Aragorn has anyone found any other ones? What you think of them?
  11. I only own one DVD from a tv series an thats an X-Men Phoenix Saga its pretty cool but Im not a real big fan of tv series on DVD mainly because of the cost these sets go for. But I could tell you DVDs that I would gladly fork over money for He-Man both the old and new series and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles both the old and new series. Turtles Rule!
  12. The extended edition of the movies are all on 2 discs
  13. Anybody out there know of any websites that sell action figure stands for LOTR figures?
  14. I think he was refeing to cost not in production wise but rather consumer wise. Lets see a super extended DVD boxed set would most likely resemble the cos of three extended DVDs which at forty bucks a pop brings it up to 120 plus Im sure they would enclude some sculpture made by WETA as they have done in the FOTR and TT boxed sets so add to that another 20-30 maybe? Which brings us up to around 140-150 estimated cost of a super extended edition boxed set. I think this would be highly unlikey for someone who wasnt a die hard rings fan to purchase if even they would either way I do not think it would be in New Lines best interest to release this unless the format of DVD is someday replaced and they release it in whatever the next gen format will be. As for the Hobbit movie, that I do think New Line would agree to. I though I remembered reading an article that New Line already has the rights to the Hobbit and that they purchased them the same time they purchased the rights to the Lord of the Rings. The reason they got the Hobbit was not to produce a movie however it was to prevent another movie studio to leech of off FOTR succes and produce a Hobbit movie without any consent from Peter Jackson or New Line. Perhaps I am mistaken in this issue though. Anyway my point is i think theyd be throwing away money if they choose not to produce a hobbit movie but it would only be good if Peter Jackson directed, Ian Mckellen was in it, and the dude who played Bilbo in FOTR was in it. Oh yeah and WETA was behind it.
  15. I enjoyed the preview for the ROTK although I already saw most of it as it included alot of the footage from the trailer released a few weeks ago. But I'm a sucker for the behind the scenes and making of stuff that they also did in the preview which was pretty cool. By the way Im also planning to buy the extended edition in a few months and cant wait, it looks to be really good. Down with pirated movies!
