1. I think people are waiting on the unslimed boxed set they've mentioned. Also, the moment they put Peter up for sale, the others are gonna sell out along with him.
2. I don't recommend this. The swab can leave fibers printed into the plastic because of the way acetone compromised the plastic in chemical reaction. If you want to remove the slime, use testors paint thinner(small bottle version). Be sure to have cd scratch fix compound on hand to stop any oxydation(whitish tone).
3. DCUC is an AWESOME line, but for me I'd say no, not Toybiz's Marvel Legends. Mattel sometimes does the cheap thing and use the standard buff body on characters that shouldn't be buff which hurts the line in my eyes. Then there is the fact that too often they're happy to just paint on costumes instead of sculpting details. All that being said I really like DCUC a whole lot more than Hasbro's Marvel Legends....and maybe's Toybiz's last wave or two. Marvel Legends still OWNS dcuc. Nothing 'Marvel' related owns DC, let alone their toyline.
4. Yeah, I got my wave today. Lots of new generic parts on them(remolded so they can only be assembled on the correct sides, etc). They have a quality that is as good or better than DCSH. I think Mattel really kicked it up this time.
5. Ouch. Glad my two sets are okay.
6. They seem to be completely random. Mine has two 8's on his back and some are missing numbers.
7. What are you bitching about? this means your store is on the 'increased order' list. You'll have TONS of stuff coming.
8. Anything spotted north of Houston TX?
9. Final Crisis is fun. It's just too much to ask people to think. You should read a summary of Countdown to Final Crisis. But don't buy that series. It's not so great. As for tie-ins, You need to read Batman "last rites", Final Crisis Requiem, Final Crisis Revelations, Final Crisis Submit, and Superman Beyond. You can find a reading order list online.
10. They're out. He's already shown off pictures of it.
11. Its pretty stupid when people are willing to boycott and protest over a toy, but you won't confront the government or your local politicians over REAL choices that hurt people, especially the middle class. I already did that today, so shut up and go somewhere else if you want to discuss politics. I love that the internet gives losers like you an outlet to smart off to people like me. I tell you that it NEVER happens to me in person. Enjoy hiding.
12. Yah. He did a good thing and has nothing to gain from it politically. Richardson and Gore also had a big hand in it. I'm happy they're home and I'm proud of President Clinton for not making any kind of issue of himself for doing it. He's been entirely silent.

14. My target reset their mod and got rid of them
15. Dumb? that's genius! Its also kind of hilarious. The other version I've heard is that Slimer was actually a royal knight from the dark ages who was killed in battle...which is also hilarious.
16. Jay, get your facts straight. Mattel said from the start that Gleek was a polybagged giveaway extra. Fwoosh had THREE of them to give away. You talk like Mattel handed them thousands to distribute. The fact is that when Comic-Con commissions a company to create these kinds of exclusives, the company at hand CANNOT sell them outside of the convention. Mattel can only give them away without purchase. It's the same exact reason that you don't see Dc Universe wave 5 at Kmart or Mattycollector.com. Mattel could just burn them if they wanted. They aren't seeing any profit from this.
17. You just noticed this? The first shipment of Hawkman had face tones that were too light. The one shipping with the WGH toys has more paint aps and a correct skin tone.
18. Because she's worth my whole collection and more. Do you mean sentimental value or actual breed value? Because breeding is criminal and animal abuse. It also upsets the course of nature. Besides that, all dogs are worth the same. They contain the same DNA and the same amount of cells. They also die, making their value sort of pointless. But yes, I have two cats. I'd give up most anything I own for them...
19. Yup Yup. I think Brainiac is a case closed.
20. I don't understand why people keep dogs that don't behave Anyhow, I have some Despero parts myself. Not sure about the leg, but I have arms
21. Under normal lightbulbs, my Brainiac's arms appear darker. In store lighting, both tones adjust somewhere between. But honestly, I'd say that every toy in this line has differences in plastic tone between the soft and hard plastic pieces.
22. The non-flash picture will vary. We have different light bulbs in our rooms.
23. I really still believe it's the lighting. I owned this set and heard about the problem. I ended up finding another set at TRU where the torso looked as purple as the arms. When I got it home, it looked idetical to Poe's. Its only the lighting. Here's an example. I just took these. Same figure in both pics
24. There is no 'two tone' problem with the Brainiacs. It's just an issue of how different plastics reflect light. All of the Brainiacs ive seen in stores have a color that seems to match, but when you get it home under regular lightbulbs, the arms look darker(its because they absorb more light, being softer plastics) Any soft plastic vs hard plastic is going to look different under certain lighting.
25.

Christians and theists? yeah, I agree.
